The location is enchanting so it feels like you're living a dream. The kindness of the knowledgeable staff and the quality of every single dish do the rest. Very good.

04/02/2025: Il locale è carinissimo ed è arredato con molto buon gusto. Il cibo è ottimo e le porzioni abbondanti. Siamo stati ricevuti da Gabriele, il proprietario con estrema cortesia e cordialità. Eccellente rapporto qualità/prezzo. Il locale si trova nel centro storico: suggerisco di parcheggiare, gratuitamente, nell'antistante piazza a pochissimi passi dal ristorante.

05/02/2025: Summonte welcomes us with beautiful sunshine and great quiet. It's early to have lunch, we take the opportunity to take a walk and get to know this splendid village. The restaurant is right in the center on the first floor of a 17th century building, we dive into history, numerous and beautiful paintings by a local painter are beautifully displayed on the walls, enhancing the environment even more, we have the impression of entering a museum, a great museum, but welcoming and familiar at the same time we immediately feel at ease. Thanks to Engineer Mario Matarazzo, the owner, who immediately creates a very friendly atmosphere with all the guests, it seems like he has always known us. The incredulity of having to eat only fish in a restaurant located here in the mountains of green Irpinia vanishes immediately: already in the appetizers you can taste the delights of the sea, golden and fried anchovies, very delicate, in practice little clouds of sea.... and then freshly seared prawns, fried anchovy balls, razor clams au gratin, breaded prawn tails and........many other delights to be enjoyed perhaps with an excellent wine from the well-stocked cellar. Among the first courses we taste well-made spaghettoni with clams and with excellent raw materials, very fresh clams. Mezze sleeves with squid ragù to enjoy a stronger and more satisfying flavour. Then grilled and fried squid both with an unforgettable salad made with zero kilometer cabbage, a delight. The fried fresh cod was excellent, it couldn't be missed! To finish, sweet log with chestnuts and chocolate, very, very good, also a very welcome gift from Mr. Mario, the bubbles to celebrate my birthday, truly commendable. We'll see you again soon, this beautiful day in Summonte deserves an encore and even more.

02/02/2025: Excellent experience in a charming period building, Mr. Mario and his staff of polite girls serve delicious fresh fish dishes. Equipped with everything you need to best express the passion and honesty for what they do in an inflated field such as catering. The starters were very good, grilled sea bream and mixed fried fish. Compliments! We will certainly be happy to return

19/01/2025: We had a great time. Very nice, warm and welcoming place. A menu with various choices without exaggerating. Dishes cooked very well with quality ingredients and served with great care. We ate very well and I highly recommend it if you love typical restaurants with honest, high-quality cuisine. Really excellent prices and generous portions really make it a destination to visit. I highly recommend the Cucchiarone pizza restaurant if you love good home cooking done as God commands ❤️❤️❤️🎉

20/02/2025: We had lunch in front of the bar counter and in front of the entrance, which, although screened by a screen, was always open because in the dining room, where we should have been, there was a party and the guests used to go out to smoke or something... It would have been appropriate to decline our reservation ... The cost of a boiled artichoke, 15.00 euros, is excessive....

25/11/2024: Ci siamo tornati dopo due anni ed abbiamo trovato ancora più calore e professionalità. Vanno assolutamente assaggiati i primi piatti e le proposte della coppia di titolare che continuano a stupire seguendo le stagioni. Ottimi anche i taglieri con formaggi di grande qualità

Son of the very nice meter Franco, who loves his job and during the service is cheerful and kind to make everything even more of a pleasure. A fish-based lunch for 4 people. Fresh fish despite being immersed in the Caudina valley. We started with a seafood mix. Continued with spaghetti with clams, scialatielli with seafood and packets with cod. To finish with a fish fry and chips. Unbeatable quality and quantity! Everything tasty, fresh and tasty at the right point. What can I say, this place is a guarantee.

25/02/2025: Good food is a certainty in Grottaminarda's restaurants. Varied and rich menu, full of US specialties wisely prepared by the hands of Antonio the owner, who has never forgotten his past in the States, but rather enhances its qualities. The very characteristic venue is backed by a carefully managed sound. All very good. Recommended for anyone in the area!

10/03/2025: Only in Milan can you find a bar after 10pm on Sunday evening without a reservation!! It was full and they made us find a table, the music, the people, in short, the pure nightlife environment, the drinks and the large plate of aperitifs!!! My friends and I loved it!!! There was also a very nice Colombian waitress, I can't wait to come back and have an evening with you!!! There were even fireworks!!!!

26/03/2025: Scoperto per caso poichè di passaggio a Solofra; Location molto carina, un giusto compromesso tra trattoria e ristorante, ottima atmosfera con luci soffuse ed una piacevole musica di sottofondo (siamo stati a pranzo); Appena finito di ordinare ci vengono offerte delle zeppoline sale e pepe molto apprezzate, Abbiamo preso i taglieri di salumi e formaggi accompagnati da un calice di primitivo di manduria, ottimi(nota positiva al prosciutto crudo e alla pancetta che si scioglievano in bocca), Come antipasto polpette con fonduta di cacio e pepe molto buone ma il piatto forte è stata la verza imbottita di patate e pancetta; Come primi piatti abbiamo preso tagliatella ai funghi( per me il migliore), spaghettoni zucchine e pancetta e tagliolini con tartufo, i piatti ben conditi, saporiti e di giuste dimensioni, Ciliegina sulla torta il dolce, sia tiramisù e sopratutto uno chiamato D'arì hanno chiuso quest ottima esperienza culinaria. Conto più che giusto x quello che abbiamo mangiato! Nota positiva ai camerieri e al proprietario, si vede che svolgono con passione ed amore il loro lavoro. Sicuramente torneremo a Solofra anche solo per tornarci a mangiare! Complimenti!

08/03/2025: Braceria di eccellente qualità , diverse qualità di carne per tutti i gusti e per tutte le tasche ,sempre proporzionato alla qualità , la carne è cotta alla brace dall’ottimo chef Franco , padrone di casa ,ottimi anche gli antipasti , tuttavia anche il posto ti accoglie con calore , con ottima sonorità in sottofondo , nessuno che ti mette fretta ; ottima la carta dei vini . Gentilissimo il personale , puoi farti anche consigliare da loro . Torneremo per assaggiare anche i primi piatti . Insomma vuoi mangiare della buona carne in un ambiente piacevole ? D’Ari’ e’ super consigliato .

26/02/2025: Small but welcoming place Friendly staff. We started with an appetizer that I would define as surreal.... When he arrived at the table, my wife and I thought it was a joke: Three bruschettas, I mean 3, served with butter in two plastic trays, Anchovies served in the can, level from the soup kitchen, the worst appetizer ever seen....cost? 13 euros!!! First spaghetti with clams, second grilled octopus, both cooked well if they weren't completely lacking in salt, ditto for the fried calamari. We end up with mediocre tiramisu, it seemed like it was bought in a supermarket. Considering that we all took half portions, we paid 90 euros, perhaps a little too much. The place also has potential, but the owners should understand that customers are not stupid from whom they have to squeeze money.

24/03/2025: Domenica 23/04/25 siamo stati ospiti di questa struttura Eravamo in tredici e abbiamo mangiato un antipasto ricchissimo un primo un secondo contorni vari dolce amari caffè tutto di ottima qualità .Il proprietario è stato sempre molto gentile Abbiamo speso 30 euro per persona Da ritornarci sicuramente

19/02/2025: Very popular diner for lunch among office workers and the like. The cod is very good when you are lucky enough to find it, the pizzas by the slice are not up to par and the rest of the food is rather mediocre. On the other hand the prices are quite low but...

09/02/2025: Carmine is a master of pizza and hospitality. The kindness of the whole team makes the experience even better even though pizza and frying already spoke for themselves. The omelette is good, the breaded mozzarella is a cloud of fried food. The podolica diavola with its more than strong flavor is highly recommended. Prices normal.
