Being from the South, my idea of ​​a trattoria is different: I expect simple but hearty dishes. At this place, however, the experience didn't live up to my expectations. Among the selection of appetizers, almost all cooked, I found little fish and many side dishes, such as peas, chickpeas, and other vegetables, with the fish almost taking a back seat. The first courses were good and well-prepared, but again, the portions left something to be desired. Overall, it's a trattoria that doesn't reflect the concept of a trattoria I'm used to.

Trattoria del Sole never ceases to amaze! You always feel at ease. We've known Domenico, the owner, and all the staff for years. Their attentiveness, hospitality, friendliness, and discretion are irreplaceable qualities. Domenico is wonderful; his love for his work shines through! He recommends and describes the dishes perfectly, just as the cuisine itself is... innovative, yet respectful of tradition. I'd say it's a brilliant and authentic mix of inimitable flavors and aromas. What can I say about the freshness and quality? There's no fixed score; I'd say it's the best. It's always a great pleasure to return and feel like a family!

A trattoria with an authentic, homey flavor where you'll always want to return! The location is a bit dated, but it makes up for it with a welcoming atmosphere, spotlessly clean tablecloths and decor, and truly kind, friendly, and attentive staff. The service is absolutely standard and timely. The dishes are extremely tasty and generously portioned. During our visit, we tried: • Seafood appetizer selection: an excellent and plentiful variety of fish, including the great traditional classics, prepared to perfection. • Spaghetti with clams: rich in flavor and well-seasoned. (Although we did find a bit of sand, this is also a sign of freshness and the short time we had to purge them.) • Cuttlefish fillet on a bed of potatoes: a great pairing. • Fried mixed seafood: very plentiful, although we had a few minor concerns about the freshness of one ingredient, but overall, the fried seafood was well-done. A small detail that could be improved: the house wine could definitely be improved. For just a few euros, you can find a good wine that pairs nicely with your meal. Overall, it's a classic, authentic place in Trebisacce where substance matters more than appearance: excellent food, a warm welcome, and a fair price. We'll definitely be back! Highly recommended!!!
