Everything excellent. Not a negative note... Super recommended for those looking for genuine products. Marianna, the landlady, deserves a 5 star for the way she presents the dishes, for the kindness, attention and friendliness shown. I will definitely be back ❤️

Civita è un bellissimo borgo calabro ricco di ottimi ristoranti (ne conosco almeno altri 3 ...), ma L'oste di Arberia è senz'altro di un livello superiore. Cucina calabrese, ma rivisitata con maestria dallo chef-titolare e impreziosita dalla sapiente, appassionata e gradevolissima presenza in sala della moglie. Bella e capiente la location, servizio impeccabile, piatti (dagli antipasti ai primi e ai secondi) gustosi e introvabili altrove. Ottima, infine, l'offerta di vini. Insomma, punteggio pieno meritatissimo.

I have to admit this is my second review of this place, this time from my work account. This place does deserve taking the time to write once again how great it is everytime I visit it. I have been here by now 3-4 times and it's a fantastic place you don't want to miss if you are in the lovely Civita. The kind of dishes you get here are a great blend of tradition and modernity - all with one thing in mind though: to taste great. Marianna, the owner and host is phenomenal and she will take the time to explain everything there is to know around her dishes and her wines. Don't miss it if you are in Civita!

Even though there are already only five star reviews, I still try to review my experience. Quality of raw materials, professionalism, cleanliness and friendliness of the managers are certainly the strong points of the restaurant. This is not a simple lunch or dinner experience but a real journey of taste capable of combining innovation and local tradition in one of the most beautiful and appreciated villages, Civita, in Calabria. In this setting, characterized among other things by a magnificent historic Arbëreshë residence expertly restored, there are delicious historical dishes of the local tradition skilfully innovated by Chef Gregorio Buccolieri through zero kilometer ingredients, organic or part of the slow food discipline (and therefore theses to the recovery and protection of small productions of gastronomic excellence threatened by industrial agriculture, environmental degradation and standardization). Experience characterized by exceptional flavors and a unique quality/price ratio. All at the foot of the Pollino National Park and a few kilometers from ancient Sybaris. It's just a shame there aren't six stars. Really congratulations and thanks again!

Probably the best restaurant in the area. A must if you're looking for a taste experience in this part of the region.

A real experience. Raw material, respect and knowledge in treating it, imagination combined with tradition. In addition to the excellent work of the Chef and the kitchen, we cannot fail to mention Mrs. Marianna's meticulous attention to the customer aimed at complete customer satisfaction. The description of the dishes and the advice on wines to pair exude competence and passion. A restaurant, L'oste d'Arberia to visit. At any cost.

Davvero un ottimo ristorante, eccellente l'agnello, ottimi gli antipasti, buona scelta di vini, servizio veloce e premuroso, prezzi corretti. Piatti tutti molto raffinati e serviti in maniera impeccabile.

Un bellissimo locale molto pulito ,cortesia ed eleganza,cibo di ottima qualità, piatti particolari ,il menù cambia sempre perché viene utilizzata la materia prima della stagione. I titolari sono molto gentili e soprattutto molto professionali.

Assolutamente consigliato x accoglienza , cibo prelibato e location incantevole ; la sigra Marianna e la sua famiglia vi faranno sentire a casa .
