Beautifully restored restaurant but quiet atmosphere in early May. Great views, wonderful side garden, good service, reasonably priced local wines. Personal view so dont let it put you off, as this is an attempt at innovative fine dining - chef-ified and de-rusticated. Calabria...but food didn't really do it for us. Pasta itself good... but soggy ravioli (split or intentional? unsure) and powdered mint spinkled artichoke pasta creation mainly lemon flavoured. Both veal and lamb rib chops seemed slow cooked...odd choice for these cuts rendering a grey meat albeit with intense sauces to restore. Prefer de-chef-ified re-rusticated Calabria.

Typical Civita cuisine revisited in the style of Chef Gregorio Buccolieri, a welcoming atmosphere, a beautiful garden area with outdoor dining options, and friendly and professional staff. Excellent service and a good wine list, the cuisine is delicate and tasty. The meatballs with creamed carrots are delicious. Homemade leavened and baked goods are also available. The menu changes with the seasons and the carefully selected ingredients. Good value, reservations recommended.

It was indeed the best choice. I am proud to be the first Korean to leave a review. First off, the service is incredibly friendly. Although they don't speak English, they do their best to communicate. The atmosphere is also neat and upscale. It is a setting that fits perfectly with any occasion. The taste of the food... it is the best. I was a little worried because the dishes use local ingredients and highlight regional characteristics, but after ordering every item on the menu, every choice turned out to be the best. The veal steak was my number one favorite, followed by the black pork steak in second place. The cod pasta was also delicious, and the other menu items were choices I have no regrets about. They suit Korean palates well. The antipasto menu on the first page is available for single servings, and all four components are excellent. Even the cheese suits Korean tastes perfectly. If anyone visits Civita, I highly recommend enjoying dinner here.

It's hard to give a restaurant a 10. This one deserves it. 10 with honors Eating here is a taste sensation. The staff is synonymous with excellence.

Lunch, Sunday... everything is truly top-notch, from the attentive, never-intrusive service, to the surprise of my favorite wine (Lidia Matera's Cariglio), to the truly sublime main courses (braised veal and lamb with chicory), to the unique cheeses, to the highly original and authentic desserts... but the deliciousness of everything is enhanced above all by the home-made bread and olive oil, sincere and delicious, which reflect the family tradition and dedication. Just a small suggestion... low lighting would make the place a little warmer and more welcoming, like your hospitality. We'll definitely be back (with an umbrella 😘)

I went to L'Oste d'Arberia a few days ago for lunch with friends. Calling it a restaurant is an understatement: the attention the entire staff showed us, from the welcome to the tour of the entire establishment, was something that went beyond the food. The menu follows seasonality, and each dish, conceived and presented with passion, expresses the local area in which this establishment is immersed. It goes without saying, of course, that everything was excellent. I will absolutely return.
