08/01/2026: If I had to rate it from 1 to 10, I'd give it a seven. I'll explain: I had the €35 set menu, and everything was delicious, from the starters to the mixed meat main course. My only criticism, if I may, is the appetizer, which I thought was a bit small for Lucanian tradition; everything else was plentiful and delicious.

25/12/2025: I spent Christmas Day with my family and loved ones. The restaurant staff was kind and helpful. The quality of the ingredients enhanced the excellent preparation of the dishes. I hope to return soon.

04/02/2026: The food here is simply INCREDIBLE. Just saying “buono” is an understatement. Here everything is delicious. Moreover the service is passionate, kind and always with the right timing, I mean that they take time to explain you the gastronomic secrets of Basilicata without being too much pushy. Really no words to explain how much everything was perfect. I’ll be back here every time I can during my trip. Super advised if you are passing by from this area.

05/01/2026: Discovered thanks to TripAdvisor, this trattoria was a wonderful surprise. The atmosphere was warm and familiar, just as you'd expect from a Lucanian restaurant. We tried the cavatelli with black chickpeas and shrimp, the frizzoli with ragù and breadcrumbs, the buffalo mozzarella with cherry tomatoes, and the charcuterie board: everything was delicious and made with the freshest ingredients. The service was courteous and never intrusive. Excellent value for money. We'll definitely be back! 😊

09/09/2025: I've been going to this place for at least 15 years: everything is good, and it's a quiet place that everyone can enjoy. The only downside is that, since it's often very crowded, Enzo (the owner) sometimes forgets to serve you at your table. Overall, I recommend everyone to come to this bar and pastry shop: it's truly excellent!

24/01/2026: It's a nice place, but you have to wait for a table; you can't sit down right away. The waiter forgot to bring ketchup and mayonnaise, and there weren't enough cups. The pizza didn't take long to arrive; it was very large and delicious. The restroom is small and littered with junk, but there's a changing table. The checkout counter sells expired cookies, but they say they messed up the date.

27/12/2025: We came to visit Matera and were looking for a place to stop for lunch. We couldn't have chosen a better place; we opted for seafood. They were truly excellent. The quality-price ratio is unbeatable. Highly recommended.

25/11/2025: Today at lunch, I saw all the positive reviews that inspired me to try this restaurant. I can say that the quality of the ingredients and the preparation are truly excellent. We had two portions of cardoon pie, one parmigiana, and one fried artichoke, along with three bottles of water for €24. The dining room is welcoming and clean. You can use the restroom. Highly recommended.

From fillet to sweetbreads, from Romagna bocconcini to spicy sausages and salami, not to mention the appetizers of traditional cheeses accompanied by exquisite lemon-infused extra virgin olive oil: everything is truly excellent. And the prices are almost unbelievably exceptional!

It's well-organized, very clean, and the lifeguards are very kind and ready to help with anything, especially for a person with a disability. Everyone is kind and friendly. A family tradition...after about 25 years I returned to Metaponto...well, I had imprinted in my memory the professional and exquisite welcome of the "family" who ran the LA MASSERIA RESTAURANT! Well, finding the same "guys" here at the NAUTILUS beach... and experiencing the pleasant sensation of time standing still. Well, it's priceless! The care, the attention, the kindness...the quality of the food (EXCELLENT RAW MATERIALS)....THE UMBRELLAS AT THE CORRECT DISTANCE TO MAINTAIN THE RIGHT PRIVACY FOR RELAXATION...guys...what are we talking about??? The girl at reception, who, as soon as we arrived, I asked for an umbrella and two deck chairs... and who automatically... placed me in an area of ​​the lounge where there were no couples with children... (How did she know we wanted to sleep on the beach???)... who doesn't let you leave without a smile... Well... you decide... I personally would recommend them to manage the ENTIRE METAPONTO SEASIDE... (No more fuss).... REALLY WELL DONE!!! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK...

05/01/2026: Very convenient location: not exactly in the hustle and bustle of the historic center, but still very close. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, clean and bright. The owner is very kind but discreet. There aren't many tables, so reservations are essential or you risk being left empty-handed. The menu doesn't offer a huge number of dishes, but they're small, well-prepared, and tasty. It's obviously a matter of taste, but we liked it. The price we paid was fair. If it were in my city, I'd go back. Congratulations!
