Wow. If you’re in Matera and have time this is the place to eat. There was a little wait for lunch and it was worth it. The bream with grilled vegetables outstanding and the spaghetti with clams, zucchini, mint and pistachios full of flavour. Go!

A very pleasant place, extremely friendly service, and delicious food. The owner (or so we think) treated us to a local delicacy. It's not a "wow" restaurant, but honestly, the service made me feel that way. Like visiting good friends. I give the food and atmosphere a solid 4+, and the service and the atmosphere they created a 6!

Portions are fine for the price. The tiramisu was really amazing. It is not big. I would make a reservation if you want to eat there.

A restaurant that charges €5 for gluten-free rolls and a ridiculous slice of steak with four pieces of meat for €22, house wine for €15, with a total bill of €190 for four people. I recommend him to eat in my hometown, Bisceglie, where he can eat the best fish for almost the same amount. I'm disappointed; they take tourists and strip them alive, then complain that in Matera, shifts require bringing your own sandwiches. The positives are the lovely location, the polite waitress, and even the owner himself, who is very polite, I must say. Unfortunately, I honestly didn't like the bill. The dishes were pleasant, nothing special except for the carbonara, which they revisited. Everything was good, but I repeat, the meat portions don't justify the price. I hope you take this review to heart.

Impeccable service and exquisite dishes. The place is welcoming and spotlessly clean. A great find in the city center, definitely worth a try.

Excellent gluten-free lunch in the heart of Matera. We tried the carbonara classica. It was creamy, rich, with crispy guanciale and pecorino. Added a consommé di pescato full of flavor, and finished with a chocolate fondant topped with crushed nuts, served on a slate board. All dishes were very tasty. Warm and welcoming atmosphere with cozy Italian décor and a nice wine selection; tried a local red wine similar to Primitivo. The service felt genuinely caring, like a friendly family business. Most of the menu is available gluten-free, cooked on a separate cooking line in the kitchen.
