17/10/2025: Highly recommended. Excellent local Matera cuisine served in generous portions. The staff is courteous and professional. The restaurant is elegant, with cloth-lined tables. The terrace overlooking the Sassi is actually a window, but considering the reasonable prices, it's a restaurant worth trying.

29/08/2025: A pleasant surprise. I hadn't eaten at this restaurant before, but after this dinner, it certainly won't be the last for both my guests and me. Everything was delicious. The meat was good quality and well-cooked. A special mention goes to the chef's carefully selected crostini. The staff is extremely kind, knowledgeable, punctual, and meticulous. My guests have a large dog, so when booking, we asked for a secluded table, and the owner accommodated our request. Highly recommended.

The owner was very kind and friendly, making us feel at ease right away. The place is clean, welcoming, and well-kept. A place that deserves to be known and appreciated. 12/07/2025: Probably since 1005 BC, the local grocery store has been visited by people from the Czech lands. 😁😁 This significant event is enhanced by the fact that we arrived on a Czech horse - a Škoda KAMIQ. We thank you for the kind service at the checkout and we promise to cook the purchased pasta at home and eat it with pleasure.

Very fair prices, one of the best focaccias I've ever eaten.
They also offer first and second courses.
For a quick lunch at very reasonable prices.
Everything I ate at this bakery was good.
It made our holiday in Policoro more enjoyable.
We will definitely return to this bakery.

06/10/2025: We had a great dinner there with a friend who lives in Rotondella. She said it was the best and we totally agree.
It is a family run restaurant and they were ready to give us some of the local delicacies. We had the antipasto platter, then specialty pie called L’Patizz, one stuffed with pork the other potato and green peppers. Then dried and then quickly fried red peppers, called peperoni cruschi - very tasty and crunchy.
We also tried the local pasta Frizzole co middiche. The pasta is hand rolled and curled with an iron rod.
The chef came out to talk to us and it was a very friendly place. A very enjoyable evening.
31/08/2025: We ate on a panoramic terrace with a spectacular view. Excellent sausage, eggplant, salad, and ricotta tart.
We returned two days later. Same table, same view. Falagoni calzone with potatoes and onions as an appetizer. Frizzuli as a first course: handmade pasta with a mixed meat tomato sauce and breadcrumbs. Ricotta and chocolate tart.
Everything was excellent, and the lady serving the tables was very friendly.
