05/11/2025: I stopped by chance for a quick lunch. The place is beautiful and accessible. There's ample street parking and an adjacent parking lot. The food is excellent, and the service is indeed fast and excellent. Perhaps the initial impression could have been better, in the sense that having never been there before, I wasn't sure how it worked. They didn't neglect me; I just arrived at peak traffic. That's why I wrote MAYBE. Of course, during peak times, one can put in all their effort, but it still becomes difficult. Excellent work. I'll definitely return every time I'm in the area.

10/11/2025: Hidden gem outside the tourist part of Matera. Great pizza, very friendly staff, typical familly owned business place we love to go. They dont speak English but the menu is in English so no problem. Dont expect a francy restaurant but if you want good pizza and nice place to spend the evening this is it. Price of a normal pizza is 9 Euro and 18 for the big one. We also received free desert and a local drink. We will be back on our next Matera trip

20/10/2025: A somewhat dated restaurant not far from the historic center of the famous city of Matera. Good pizza with quality ingredients, acceptable service (all disposable equipment used), and the place could use a renovation. Average price for the service offered.

12/12/2025: An unexpected atmosphere, kindness and expertise, good food served with a touch of cheerfulness. There were 15 of us, we had a great time, and we were thrilled with everything.

There's no need for long words, just stop by and try their meat... They have a wide selection, from carpaccio to tartar, many delicious things like pistachio bombette with truffles and much more... the ribs or the slices on lava stone taste impeccable... The owner was very kind and friendly, making us feel at ease right away. The place is clean, welcoming, and well-kept. A place that deserves to be known and appreciated. 12/07/2025: Probably since 1005 BC, the local grocery store has been visited by people from the Czech lands. 😁😁 This significant event is enhanced by the fact that we arrived on a Czech horse - a Škoda KAMIQ. We thank you for the kind service at the checkout and we promise to cook the purchased pasta at home and eat it with pleasure.

28/10/2025: We just dropped in for an aperitivo on their beautiful terrace overlooking Matera. The service was wonderful and incredibly friendly, and it's worth stopping by. We happened to be there just as the entire city was lighting up, so the view was even more stunning. We recommend the 007 cocktail.

25/10/2025: Gorgeous. Wonderfully renovated in 2018, it shows no signs of aging. Relaxing atmosphere. Giovanna at the reception is very kind and professional, and she even spoke English and Russian with my wife. We feel right at home. 🤩

25/08/2025: We've eaten at this bakery several times. Very fair prices, one of the best focaccias I've ever eaten. They also offer first and second courses. For a quick lunch at very reasonable prices. Everything I ate at this bakery was good. It made our holiday in Policoro more enjoyable. We will definitely return to this bakery.
