I stumbled upon Bell'Agio by chance and was enchanted! The food is outstanding: I had the capsaicin and the spaghetti anchovy. The waiters were very attentive and gave me excellent recommendations. I'll definitely be back!

I highly recommend this restaurant in Matera. The owner is a very passionate chef who explains each dish carefully. I had a wonderful lunch here. The location is also excellent, situated in the heart of the old town. I wish the owner great success in his business.

We had a wonderful meal and a very warm welcome at Bell’Agio.
The portions were just right, not too big and not too small.
They have an enormous wine list (over 50 pages!). The octopus salad was exquisite!
I highly recommend this restaurant.

We visited this restaurant on the recommendation of a local friend.
We found attentive and professional service, accompanied by top-notch cuisine that showcases local flavors. The peperoni cruschi (cruschi peppers) deserve special mention, truly exceptional. A highly recommended place for those seeking quality and tradition.

We were passing through Mater and this lovely, small but well-kept restaurant was recommended to us.
We ate very well, and the service was pleasant and professional.
Special mention goes to the cruschi peppers and the fava beans and chicory, which gave us a taste of the local cuisine.
We'll definitely be back.
