It's well-organized, very clean, and the lifeguards are very kind and ready to help with anything, especially for a person with a disability. Everyone is kind and friendly. Thanks from Lucia and Natalino. The bar and restaurant are excellent value for money. 👍

A family tradition...after about 25 years I returned to Metaponto...well, I had imprinted in my memory the professional and exquisite welcome of the "family" who ran the LA MASSERIA RESTAURANT! Well, finding the same "guys" here at the NAUTILUS beach... and experiencing the pleasant sensation of time standing still. Well, it's priceless! The care, the attention, the kindness...the quality of the food (EXCELLENT RAW MATERIALS)....THE UMBRELLAS AT THE CORRECT DISTANCE TO MAINTAIN THE RIGHT PRIVACY FOR RELAXATION...guys...what are we talking about??? The girl at reception, who, as soon as we arrived, I asked for an umbrella and two deck chairs... and who automatically... placed me in an area of ​​the lounge where there were no couples with children... (How did she know we wanted to sleep on the beach???)... who doesn't let you leave without a smile... Well... you decide... I personally would recommend them to manage the ENTIRE METAPONTO SEASIDE... (No more fuss).... REALLY WELL DONE!!! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK...

05/01/2026: Very convenient location: not exactly in the hustle and bustle of the historic center, but still very close. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, clean and bright. The owner is very kind but discreet. There aren't many tables, so reservations are essential or you risk being left empty-handed. The menu doesn't offer a huge number of dishes, but they're small, well-prepared, and tasty. It's obviously a matter of taste, but we liked it. The price we paid was fair. If it were in my city, I'd go back. Congratulations!

15/08/2025: The atmosphere and location were very nice, as were the staff and the service, which was fast and friendly. Unfortunately, the food wasn't that good. Many dishes were sold out (the tripe and the fusilli). The appetizer of cured meats and cheeses also included other dishes (all potato-based): stewed fava beans, cruschi peppers, followed by cavatelli with cherry tomatoes and ricotta cheese, and cavatelli with breadcrumbs. The pasta was overcooked and I think precooked. It must have been a bad day. The prices are absolutely not high.

06/03/2026: What a shame!!! Taking advantage just because you're a tourist. Don't bring a few appetizers with two aperitifs, then ask if you'd like anything and say yes to the owner. He'll bring you crostini, which you have to pay for separately. Total: one Aperol Spritz A glass of Prosecco Plus the crostini, total: €26 Congratulations!!!

05/11/2025: I stopped by chance for a quick lunch. The place is beautiful and accessible. There's ample street parking and an adjacent parking lot. The food is excellent, and the service is indeed fast and excellent. Perhaps the initial impression could have been better, in the sense that having never been there before, I wasn't sure how it worked. They didn't neglect me; I just arrived at peak traffic. That's why I wrote MAYBE. Of course, during peak times, one can put in all their effort, but it still becomes difficult. Excellent work. I'll definitely return every time I'm in the area.

She's a delightful person, very approachable, extremely knowledgeable about everything, very professional, and incredibly friendly. 🤭 We can only compliment Maitre Walter, who was so attentive to every moment; he even "sequestered" us at our table so we could eat at least one course the entire day. This truly touched us, because he showed a level of thoughtfulness we'd never seen before. Our compliments to the chef, he has golden hands. Whatever he cooks comes to life. Every single dish we tasted, every single one we ate, well, left you speechless. Every ingredient was perfectly proportioned, and even things we don't eat or like every day had a completely different flavor when cooked by him. Sublime. Everything was magically sublime! 11/12/2025: We stumbled upon Piaceri dell’Arrosto on the recommendation of locals. The location is immersed in nature, amidst the chirping of birds and the surrounding trees. The staff is courteous and friendly, not to mention the dishes, plentiful and excellent. I don't eat meat, but, despite the name, they have several vegetarian options, from appetizers to first courses. I'll definitely be back!

03/01/2026: This review is for a dinner for two. The atmosphere is nice, a typical restaurant in the Sassi district. There's a limited selection of pizzas, but they're all delicious, including the one we chose. It's among the best we've had in Matera. The downside of the evening was the service. There was an excessive wait to order, and even worse after finishing the pizza. We waited a bit too long for dessert, which arrived a bit too late. Likewise, a couple of tourists at the table next to us left because of the excessive wait. Not good. One improvement I'd suggest is better communication among the staff (which probably needs to be improved on nights like this).

06/12/2025: Perfect! A beautiful property in an old building, centrally located, with a view of the Sassi. Comfortable yet luxurious rooms, with attention to every detail. The friendly, helpful manager and staff make you feel at home.

28/10/2025: We just dropped in for an aperitivo on their beautiful terrace overlooking Matera. The service was wonderful and incredibly friendly, and it's worth stopping by. We happened to be there just as the entire city was lighting up, so the view was even more stunning. We recommend the 007 cocktail.
