29/11/2025: I have stayed in this hotel several times for work reasons and I am happy to return both for the service and the cuisine and for the price

25/11/2025: A typical seaside hotel. The interior is showing its age, although some of the room finishes are appreciable. The staff is very young and helpful; perhaps lacking in attention, but certainly pleasant, and any small shortcomings are readily forgiven. The breakfast isn't particularly extensive, but the products are high-quality. The price, finally, is reasonably reasonable, especially considering the service received.

15/12/2025: Excellent quality pastries, an outdoor veranda for all-season dining, and attentive and professional staff. Highly recommended.

02/07/2025: Siamo stati alla Latteria dietro consiglio e…gran consiglio!! Abbiamo mangiato benissimo. Taglieri, spaghetti san giovannino, guanciale di vitello, tagliata, formaggio alla piastra. Tutto buonissimo. Se andate a Matera alla Latteria non sbagliate.

03/09/2025: The name of the place refers only to piadinas, but it turns out to be a fantastic pizzeria. The pizza resembles Neapolitan pizza not in terms of the crust but rather in the dough. The selection of pizzas, piadinas, and pucce is vast. There's plenty of seating outside, less inside. The customer traffic is high, which is certainly a sign of its great success. I'll be back to try all the flavors!

25/07/2025: An absolutely wonderful experience – it truly felt like stepping into a fairytale. We stayed here for 2 nights in July for summer holiday, and were completely enchanted by the surroundings. The cozy farmhouse overlooks endless wheat fields, which had just been harvested when we arrived. The golden landscape stretched out to the horizon – peaceful, dreamy, and simply stunning. Every morning, we were treated to a delicious breakfast, beautifully presented and full of variety. It was the perfect start to the day, enjoyed in a calm and charming countryside setting. The host was incredibly kind, friendly, and welcoming. They gave us great recommendations for hidden gems around Matera that we wouldn’t have discovered on our own. Everything about this place brought a sense of peace and warmth – the kind of countryside experience we absolutely love and will never forget.

20/06/2025: Un très bel endroit au milieu de la campagne du Basilicate et à quelques kilomètres de Matera. Accueil parfait, et en français. Une chambre très confortable et le lendemain, un petit déjeuner superbe, avec les produits de la ferme et venant aussi des alentours. À recommander absolument

16/11/2025: The place is very nice and the staff very attentive. I ordered a filet alla Rossini because I was craving meat. They asked me how I wanted it cooked and explained that it would come with potatoes and Madeira sauce. When I cut into my steak, it turned out to be a beet! I couldn't believe it. It wasn't even good enough for a vegan dish. A vegan dish is prepared, not just a boiled beet. Anyway, they replaced it and admitted their mistake. They brought me some very well-prepared meat, but a very small portion. And everything was very expensive. But the beet incident will go down in history as a funny anecdote.

29/08/2025: A pleasant surprise. I hadn't eaten at this restaurant before, but after this dinner, it certainly won't be the last for both my guests and me. Everything was delicious. The meat was good quality and well-cooked. A special mention goes to the chef's carefully selected crostini. The staff is extremely kind, knowledgeable, punctual, and meticulous. My guests have a large dog, so when booking, we asked for a secluded table, and the owner accommodated our request. Highly recommended.

08/10/2025: We were very happy that we stumbled into this restaurant, and that it was open during the siesta time . Very friendly, great atmosphere, the food was very very good. What I love the most- the burger was without the bun. Great!!!! And fried potatoes were absolutely delicious

17/10/2025: Highly recommended. Excellent local Matera cuisine served in generous portions. The staff is courteous and professional. The restaurant is elegant, with cloth-lined tables. The terrace overlooking the Sassi is actually a window, but considering the reasonable prices, it's a restaurant worth trying.

11/10/2025: Excellent dinner, we asked to be able to dine inside with a view of the Sassi and they obliged us, good and well cooked food

07/12/2025: A completely negative experience. The restaurant is nice, but the rest is beyond praise. The food is based on onions, and the flavors are zero. The meatballs are practically tasteless. The tomatoes weren't cooked at all. The staff were friendly. Everything else was negative. Never again. And I think the people who leave positive reviews don't know what the food means. You have to know how to handle the poverty of the place.

11/12/2025: Lunch with friends. Varied menu with intriguing dishes, beautifully presented and served by attentive and qualified staff. The interior is a real gem, it will charm you... the exterior is well-appointed and welcoming. The quality of the products is excellent, even in the simplest traditional local dishes; the portions are generous. Suitable for everyone. Only a few steps at the entrance. I recommend it.
