We accidentally stumbled upon this very characteristic restaurant located along the only accessible road in the Sassi of Matera. We were extremely satisfied: the appetizers, first courses, and desserts were exceptional. The owners and their staff were very helpful and attentive throughout the dinner. Highly recommended.

A typical restaurant in the heart of Matera's old town. Beautiful decor, top-notch service, excellent pizzas, and it's even open in winter, which is rare... and precious! (It's a bit too easy to only open during peak season), so kudos and thank you to this restaurant for allowing us to enjoy a delicious meal on our last evening in Matera... I highly recommend it!
