02/04/2025: Excellent pasta dishes with salami, cheese and local vegetables, not only the wine, very simple and genuine from the Matera and Lucanian tradition, with a fixed menu or à la carte. Both the service and the place are good.

31/03/2025: Excellent restaurant in the center, welcoming and very kind staff. Tourist menu at a very competitive price, today as dish of the day I was able to choose an excellent legume soup with cardoncelli mushrooms and an excellent meat stew. Highly recommended.

15/07/2024: Small brewery (literally) a few steps from the heart of the city center, away from the hustle and bustle of people who crowd the evenings; a small gem where you can enjoy a beer in total relaxation. The offer of beers is varied and well cared for by the owners, with the opportunity to taste always new beers and often discover real pearls of the Italian and European brewing tradition. Now it is, for me, a mandatory stop when I go to Matera. Highly recommended.

05/04/2025: I had dinner here a few weeks ago, the starters are really very abundant and it is possible to taste different flavours. The all you can eat form for meat is good even if you have to wait a bit between one course and another. I gave the room a 3 only because it was really very hot inside, I don't know if it was due to the fact that there were a lot of people or that despite it being a not cold evening inside the room the heaters were on

22/02/2025: An excellent evening at the cod festival, at Nonnandó, in Pane e Vino di Tursi (MT), shared with some friends. The place is characteristic; the dining room staff is welcoming and professional; the dishes were varied and delicious; the fair and balanced account. We will certainly return to try other dishes.

18/03/2025: Truly exceptional! Starting from the outside, a beautiful place, spacious and well-kept. Plenty of parking. Well-kept place, clean and tidy. Kind and quick staff in preparation. Really excellent and abundant food! We struggled to finish everything! Honest and fair prices. I will definitely be back! Recommended.

05/03/2025: Fantastic pizzeria, at the entrance there is a beautiful illuminated rose window very characteristic of Matera. The environment is very colorful and cheerful. We were welcomed and served by Valeria, a truly kind and professional girl who was able to give us the best advice. We ordered some delicious friselle prepared by them, a very tasty carpaccio, a very generous hamburger sandwich with a side of chips, a normal pizza and finally the fantastic ice cream affogato with cream. Very fair prices, we will definitely return. I recommend it to you.

20/02/2025: Small but very very welcoming place in the center of Policoro ai casalini. Impeccable and very attentive service. A nice choice of menu. Extraordinary meat (comes from the very renowned family butcher's shop in Policoro). We really had a great time. I will definitely return.

15/03/2025: Food very bland. We tried several dishes (carbonara, brusquetta, lasagne, second set and vegetable soup. We definitely do not recommend it. A plus for the atmosphere, but that's only one plus of this place. We subtract points for the service because the gentleman forgot about one dish that we didn't get at all.

24/11/2024: Typical and nice restaurant in the village of Rotondella, we found it by chance one Sunday for lunch during a motorbike ride. Welcomed by the lady, wife of the owner and chef of the restaurant, we immediately felt welcomed into their home!! Quiet little place with excellent and impeccable service, the lady very kind and attentive in her service, menu with typical dishes. Excellent, delicious food, without too many waits even if there were other customers in the room. We had a great appetizer, typical Rotondella calzone, two first courses of fresh grilled pasta with tomato and fried bread "more than generous portions" After you have dessert!! Let me start by saying that I don't like those made with ricotta, and I have to tell you... it was really delicious, a tart with ricotta and chocolate chips, homemade and mouth-watering! Highly recommended and we will definitely be back!! Even in summer, it will be even nicer since it has a nice little terrace! At the end we also chatted with the owners and we felt even more at home!! Well done, continue like this to distinguish yourself from other places that absolutely do not deserve any positive reviews!! See you soon!!!!

15/02/2025: Unfortunately I am changing my review, a grappa 5 euros, a dessert 6 euros, a meat-only hamburger with two side vegetables 15 euros, marinara I ask for anchovies in addition, 1 euro supplement for three anchovies on the pizza, inflated prices, quality is decreasing, congratulations, you have lost the first customers

13/02/2025: Eravamo una coppia di amiche e abbiamo ordinato due pizze, che tutto sommato erano buone. Tuttavia, una delle due è arrivata senza due ingredienti, cosa che ci ha sorpreso, soprattutto considerando che era sabato. La cameriera ci ha comunicato l'errore solo dopo aver preso l'ordine, un po' disorganizzato. Il locale ha un'atmosfera tipica da osteria, accogliente ma nulla di speciale. Il servizio è stato corretto, ma nel complesso l’esperienza non è stata memorabile. Tre stelle, con margini di miglioramento.

03/11/2024: Fantastic discovery to say the least! We were in the village for a short stay, fantastic welcome, everyone was super kind and friendly, food beyond expectations! Small tip, try all the starters, they are exceptional, the first course with crusco pepper is delicious. If we are passing through or in the surrounding area, Il Caminetto will be our fixed stop! 04/01/2025: Posto eccezionale. Il Sign. Angelo ci ha permesso di assaporare i sapori più autentici della cucina lucana: un antipasto di verdure buonissimo (aglio marinato davvero delizioso), capriata e polpette gustosissime; tutto accompagnato da un ottimo aglianico dop. A conclusione della cena abbiamo assaggiato un gelato buono e originale. Il servizio è stato efficiente e cordiale (la sig.ra Imperia è gentile, solare e precisa). Che dire poi di Angelo: divertente, attento, appassionato. Si capisce dal primo istante che ama quello che fa e ama accogliere chi si siede a tavola. Ci ha deliziato con i piatti della tradizione e ci ha fatto sorridere in modo vero e pieno. Lasciamo Matera con gioia. Grazie davvero! Decisamente consigliato!
