20/07/2025: It was an excellent lunch; we ate on the terrace, which has a beautiful view. The dishes were good, especially the peppered mussels and the first course (strascinati with sausage, Matera bread, and crusco peppers on a caciocavallo cream that was out of this world). The ingredients seemed high-quality. My only complaint: the service was a bit slow. Good value (also considering the very central location).

13/07/2025: I returned to Kappador after some time away, and I can say that the experience was even better than I remembered. We dined on the terrace with a view, in a truly enchanting atmosphere. Everything was impeccable: attentive service, carefully prepared and flavorful dishes, quality ingredients, and a presentation that demonstrates care and passion. I found a place that had grown, improved in every detail, without losing its distinctive authenticity. An evening with friends that turned into an experience to remember. Congratulations!

19/02/2025: Real craftsmanship quality that is rarely found in Germany. Fantastic Pane di Matera from the wood oven, with a crust that I have rarely seen in Italy. Very special: Unlike the well-known breakfast croissant, the Cornetto is a compact, extremely crispy bread. Also delicious snacks: definitely try a panzerotto when it's fresh.

26/07/2025: We started with a small hiccup: a new girl took our order and, whether out of excitement or something else, forgot it. They were very kind to apologize and admit their mistake, which is a credit to us. The pizza was well-cooked and the panzerotto was delicious. Excellent!!

13/08/2025: My husband Zeno and I had dinner here and were thrilled to say the least! Despite the restaurant being packed and the staff inundated with requests, the organization and kindness were impeccable. Quick, attentive, and always smiling, they handled every need with great professionalism. We tried a pizza scapece and another specialty (unfortunately, I don't remember the name) and were amazed: the pizza was exceptional, not only for its flavor, but also for the quality of the dough. Extremely light and easy to digest, unlike many pizzas we've had elsewhere, this one didn't weigh us down in the slightest. We dined at 10:00 PM and didn't feel the slightest bit thirsty throughout the night. To make the evening even more magical, while sitting at the outdoor tables, we were lucky enough to admire a splendid orange full moon reflecting off the Sassi. A truly pleasant and unexpected experience. I highly recommend L'Altra Pizza to anyone who wants to enjoy a superb pizza in a welcoming atmosphere with impeccable service. We'll definitely be back!

25/07/2025: It's not the prettiest restaurant in Matera, but the atmosphere is created by the people, and the service at this pizzeria deserves 5 stars :) The smiling and kind staff made us a truly delicious pizza! At the end, we received small chocolate croissants as a gift: it was very nice! We recommend this place :)

23/07/2025: A quaint trattoria serving traditional Matera dishes. Courteous and helpful staff, a clean and welcoming atmosphere. The food was excellent and the portions were absolutely generous!!! We ordered a seven-course appetizer featuring typical Matera dishes, thinking each course would be a "taster"... but in reality, each course was a truly generous meal, even for two people!!! The selection of cured meats and cheeses was also very good... Highly recommended!

23/07/2025: The first farmhouse in the Melfese Vulture area, then all the other restaurants in the area copied their variety of appetizers, but the difference lies in the preparation and the products they produce. The first courses with vegetables are a delight, I highly recommend it.
