Wonderful views, delicious specialty of the kitchen - fresh pasta with tomato sauce and mozzarella. It is worth visiting here for a moment and staying for a few hours - like us 🍹🤗.

18/06/2025: Excellent food, if you book on the terrace you also have a splendid view of the Sassi di Matera and in addition they also have a splendid ancient wine cellar to visit with a small exhibition. Personally the only thing that left a little to be desired were the desserts from which I expected more. Overall highly recommended and absolutely reasonable prices for the location.

Ogni piatto dal più semplice al più complesso era gustoso e lavorato bene. Le materie prime si sentivano di prima qualità. Costo totale euro 100. Molto soddisfatti. Personale gentile. Servizio ottimo.

19/04/2025: Sono tornata al paese per una visita con una mia zia che è di Irisna e mio marito che è di Napoli e ci siamo fermati alla trattoria Nigent dopo aver letto le recensioni online. La signora Gigia è una padrona di casa eccellente e ha saputo consigliarci bene per provare i piatti tipici della tradizione lucana senza strafare. Tutti prodotti locali freschi, di elevata qualità e piatti davvero ben preparati. I dolci della signora Gigia sono stratosferici e preparati con ingredienti freschissimi, e si sentiva. Il locale è molto ben arredato con elementi tipici Irisnesi che lo caratterizzano con eleganza senza strafare. Anche i vini e i liquori preparati dalla Signora Gigia e Mario erano davvero molto buoni. Esperienza da ripetere la prossima volta che torniamo al paese.

13/05/2025: During a weekend in Accettura and the surrounding area, we stopped for dinner at this inn. Even though the restaurant was closed, the owner welcomed us with great courtesy and availability. The experience was simply extraordinary. We started with a rich local appetizer: artisanal cured meats, fresh dairy products, pickles and the inevitable crusco pepper. Next, a first course typical of the Accettura tradition: fresh pasta with pepper sauce, tasty and authentic. As a second course, a mixed grill with sausage, goat and lamb: tender meat, well cooked and full of flavor. We concluded with two ricotta-based desserts, accompanied by a bottle of excellent Aglianico. All at a really reasonable price. If you are in the area, I highly recommend contacting the restaurant and booking. It is really worth it!

12/05/2025: Wow we went twice during our holiday at Rotondella. What a great friendly service we experienced and we were served such delicious local food! We miss you!!

01/06/2025: We were there for the first time and what can I say, everything was delicious, we did the 20 euro menu with no limit on meat + starters, everything was special, especially the bombette. The staff was very kind, attentive and fast. The environment was clean, parking was convenient. As soon as we are in the area again, we will return.

13/05/2025: Excellent fresh fish dishes expertly prepared by Tonino. Simple but punctual service in a very basic environment. The simplicity of the place and the service leaves ample space for the food. The real reason to go to Tonino. Highly recommended

I find myself writing this review nine months after my visit because I still can’t stop thinking about how exceptional the food was. Ten out of ten, would recommend.
