03/07/2025: I went to this pizzeria for lunch for the first time. I immediately noticed the kindness and welcome of the staff and the quality and quantity of the pizza ingredients, which were truly excellent. Top quality/price ratio, coming from Bari I was pleasantly surprised by the bill, given that here in Puglia the prices are often unbalanced or even excessive for a pizza with the family. I will return with great pleasure.

30/06/2025: We went there on a Saturday night after booking. The place is nice and the pizza is good (even if the pizza chefs should check the cooking), but the service is decidedly poor, especially if you are greeted by a gentleman in the dining room who tends to snort when he sees you and who smiles at you ironically when you make a request. Dear sir, being a waiter is an art for few and when you reach a certain age and the passion wanes it is better to retire.

13/05/2025: During a weekend in Accettura and the surrounding area, we stopped for dinner at this inn. Even though the restaurant was closed, the owner welcomed us with great courtesy and availability. The experience was simply extraordinary. We started with a rich local appetizer: artisanal cured meats, fresh dairy products, pickles and the inevitable crusco pepper. Next, a first course typical of the Accettura tradition: fresh pasta with pepper sauce, tasty and authentic. As a second course, a mixed grill with sausage, goat and lamb: tender meat, well cooked and full of flavor. We concluded with two ricotta-based desserts, accompanied by a bottle of excellent Aglianico. All at a really reasonable price. If you are in the area, I highly recommend contacting the restaurant and booking. It is really worth it!

29/07/2025: Normal - I expected better. Too many processed ingredients, and if you're looking for something without cheese, it's a dilemma. They point out something, but then, during cooking, the waiters are the first to say, "I don't know which one is without cheese." The waiters start playing with each other while preparing the meat... basically, nothing special. Eating horse meat is a different matter.

03/07/2025: We ate very well, the best buffet ever, 4 of us ate until we burst with a variety of vegetables and a variety of horse food, skewers, hamburgers and many other things. Zero kilometre food and excellent quality. I recommend it to all the people who pass through the area like us, who are from Rome and found ourselves there, to eat at least once. Special gastronomy

01/08/2025: My wife and I were looking for a simple meal on a hot August day. We were attracted by the smell of focaccia and entered the bakery. At first glance, the focaccia looked like it was made the day before, so to our simple question, we received the answer: "It was freshly baked." Never were falser words spoken... but we only discovered this later, when, after a long walk, blinded by hunger, we bit into the focaccia... A piece of garbage, DE COCCIO, greasy and full of salt, it actually wasn't from the day before but from a week ago. Don't go there.

21/06/2025: Incredibly good focaccia. We liked it so much that we came back the next day. There are three versions, but we only tried the tomato one. The dough has a wonderful, crispy crust, the tomatoes are full of flavor. You absolutely have to try it. Very reasonable prices, 6-7 euros for three large pieces.

07/05/2025: Sehr schönes Restaurant im Natursteingewölbe. Freundliche und zuvorkommende Bedienung. Die Speisekarte ist klein , aber gediegen. Wir haben den Abend genossen.

26/04/2025: Ristrutturato con grande successo, il complesso di Aquatio é veramente bello ed accogliente…..tuttavia il servizio (vino versato macchiando tovaglia, impossibilità di cambiar tavolo, etc) ed i piatti non sono ancora all’altezza. Da migliorare! To be improved!

03/05/2025: An experience that teaches how much the way we feel welcomed matters. Saturday evening, 7.30pm. A friend and I enter the Ducale Ristorante & Pizzeria in Irsina, we smile, we greet with a simple and genuine "Good evening". The answer? A dry, cold and almost aggressive "Say!", pronounced by a man behind the counter, as if our greeting were an annoyance and not an act of education. We ask: “A table for two, please.” Without really looking at us, he replies icily: “At 8pm.” And he sends us away. In that moment, more than rejected, we felt invisible. The "no" is not the problem. It's as they say. It is the absence of empathy, of respect, of minimal human hospitality. The mind records these experiences more than one imagines: a door that closes, a wrong tone, one gesture too many can leave their mark. Yet, it was 7.30pm, and Google clearly indicates that the place is open from 6.30pm to 12am. The refusal was not justified by any rule, but only by an attitude. Welcoming isn't just serving food, it's creating connections. It's about making people feel welcome. And in this, unfortunately, the Ducale failed completely.

23/07/2025: An absolutely exceptional experience! The restaurant at BV Quarry Matera truly impressed us from the very first moment. The atmosphere is stylish and romantic, with a stunning view that makes every dinner feel special. The food was outstanding – fresh, refined, and prepared with great attention to detail. We especially appreciated the focus on local and seasonal ingredients – you can truly taste the region in every bite. The staff was extremely welcoming, attentive, and warm, which made the evening even more enjoyable. A place to remember – we will definitely be back!

23/07/2025: We had an aperitif on the terrace. Hugo, Spritz, and Prosecco accompanied by savory snacks consisting of salted peanuts, chips, and delicious green olives. Everything was delicious. Breathtaking view of Matera. Very beautiful and refreshing.

21/03/2025: The place is located on the outskirts of Montescaglioso but in essence, in terms of quality of the food and quality/price ratio, it is certainly central. The internal room is large and comfortable, but lacks a bit in acoustics. When it's full, you can't converse much at the table because the noise is amplified.

27/07/2025: Anche quest'anno sono tornato a trovare il mio amico Antonello e la sua...mamma bionica....affiancata da una ragazza alla quale sta insegnando i suoi molteplici segreti. Pizza stratosferica....tornerò a fine agosto. Unico suggerimento...in attesa di assaporare le...."ruote prelibate" qualcosa da....sgranocchiare come si usava qualche anno fa. P.S. 13/08/2025: A casual yet welcoming place, like the very kind waitress who looked after us. We had lunch with two very generous, tasty, and well-seasoned first courses. We didn't order anything else because we had to get back on the road, but the menu offers traditional dishes that looked very interesting. Highly recommended!

23/07/2025: Super delicious food! Lots of different pizzas, each one truly excellent. Our waitress was very friendly and spoke English. We also got delicious traditional desserts on the house—highly recommended! ❤️ Super good service!
