11/04/2026: We went to La Maison in Policoro for Easter Monday and it was a feast for the taste buds! For just €35, they treated us to a truly incredible menu. The meat-based antipasto was so generous it felt like a lunch in itself: cured meats, cheeses, grilled vegetables... a palette of flavors. Then came the double first course: the baked pasta made us feel right at home, while the pasta with sausage was an explosion of flavor. The succulent roast meat topped it all off, and dessert and coffee rounded it off perfectly. The atmosphere was welcoming, the service was friendly, and the value for money was truly unbeatable. Highly recommended for anyone looking to celebrate with style!

06/12/2025: A strategic location for both arrivals and departures, it's also perfect for those looking to do a bit of shopping: the store is well-stocked with everything from souvenirs to cigarettes to groceries. The breakfast was top-notch, with exceptionally flavorful croissants—unfortunately, being diabetic, I only got to try them… but it was worth it 💯! The pizza, pizzette, and calzone counter, all homemade, is a real surprise: the deliciousness is not guaranteed, but here it surpassed even my own judgment (and that's not easy!). My only regret is not having tried the food at the cafeteria, but I'll definitely make up for it next time. The staff is kind, attentive, and helpful. Special mention goes to the bathrooms, which are super clean, and the ample free parking, which is truly convenient. A place you'll gladly return to, combining quality, courtesy, and authenticity. Kudos to all the staff; keep up the good work! Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

01/06/2026: I wouldn't recommend this place if you don't like waiting. The service is extremely poor. I had a reservation for 8:00 PM. After being seated, I asked for water and a glass of wine, but they didn't arrive until 20 minutes later, and only after I'd reminded them twice. The order was taken even later, and the food was served just as slowly. The food is indeed delicious, and the presentation is original, but the atmosphere created by the staff completely ruins the experience. The waiters are constantly fussing, arguing among themselves, and answering every request with "yes," after which nothing happens. After 15 minutes, you have to find another waiter, who responds in exactly the same way. And the cycle repeats itself over and over again. And this wasn't just my table. There was a family of three at the next table. We arrived around the same time, but their menus arrived even later than mine. Meanwhile, the terrace was only half full. I ended up leaving at 10:00 PM because I'd spent the last 20-30 minutes just waiting for the bill. It only arrived after I asked for it three times. After the third request, I stood up and slowly headed for the exit, as I couldn't wait any longer. The music was a major drawback. It was playing from one of the waiters' phones through a speaker. Every time he moved away, the music would cut out or start playing intermittently due to signal loss. And after every two or three tracks, the entire terrace was forced to listen to YouTube ads. The food here is good, but the service is so poor that it completely negates the positive impressions I had from the kitchen. 02/02/2026: I was satisfied with the restaurant's cuisine. The ingredients were good. The staff were friendly, and the bathrooms were clean. Chatterscale 3, a fairly quiet atmosphere. Recommended.

19/01/2026: Wonderful stay in Policoro and the surrounding area. As always, we stayed at the Hotel Hermes. It was comfortable, clean, with friendly and helpful staff and an excellent breakfast. We'll be back as usual.

18/01/2026: I travel often in the area, and Scanzano often offers coffee shops near the entrances. I stopped by chance and found excellent coffee and delicious croissants, even having a honey dispenser instead of sugar at the counter. Well done...

03/06/2026: Sakana, one of the legendary best sushi places in Matera. The menu consists of various meals, first courses, desserts, and SUSHI!!!!! The staff is very kind, and obviously Japanese! (No offense, of course) The atmosphere is beautiful; if you sit outside, it's very nice and cool. I recommend it! The cat approves! In fact, SUPER APPROVED!
