A magical place and excellent food. Mimmo is a true Lucanian host, while Simona is a fantastic cook! It's a must-visit every time I come to Rotondella.

From Pastizz (a type of meat pie typical of Rotondella) to Lucanian sausage, including Podolico cheese, cruschi peppers, and fresh pasta al ferretto. All this is complemented by a fine glass of Aglianico, the kindness of the owners, and a breathtaking sunset over the Sinni Valley, which disappears into the Ionian Sea in an ancient, silent, and warm embrace, as only Basilicata can be.

It's the ideal place for those seeking intimacy but also good food, featuring traditional dishes with a few innovative twists. Good value and a good selection of wines. Attentive and friendly service.

Everything was perfect. We ate very well at a reasonable price, and the owners were very friendly. I paid €60 for two. It's best to book a table.

We were visiting Rotondella and decided to have lunch at this little place. The place is cozy and clean. Unfortunately, for lunch you have to go upstairs, which means you have to climb the stairs. The guy who served us was friendly enough. The kitchen service wasn't very fast. The ingredients are good, but the portions are small. The charcuterie and cheese platter only featured one type of cheese. There were only three charcuterie items, all for two slices of each. The bread they brought to sample the charcuterie wasn't fresh. The first course wasn't bad, but for the second course, we ordered the buffalo meat, which, however, was undercooked. The place isn't accessible by car, but you have to park near the town hall, where there is a parking lot.
