We called on our way back from vacation on June 2nd, after several noes from various restaurants... and thank goodness, because we discovered a fantastic restaurant that, despite the fabulous location, even welcomed us in slippers!!! Very kind staff and really reasonable prices. Congratulations!

This hidden gem of a restaurant in Policoro is a must to engot fine dining & authentic Italian food - beautiful tunnel style setting - worth visiting.

The waiter was truly professional and helpful, the food was excellent, the wine was equally good, the fish dinner was generous and of good quality, the prices were fair.

We were guests for a birthday party, and we ate a selection of delicious and mouthwatering seafood appetizers, followed by a delicious first course. A positive experience.

On April 18, 2026, I stopped by the Corte dei Basiliani restaurant with my daughter by chance. The place was beautiful, spotlessly clean, the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, and the food was truly excellent. I also forgot my purse with my documents, cards, and money. I realized it after two hours: when I called, they told me they were already trying to contact me. I went to pick up the purse, with all its contents intact. I publicly thank all the staff for their professionalism and dedication. Highly recommended, we will definitely be back!

Truly beautiful place (exposed brick vaults), very well decorated! Special dishes served in delicious little pans! All the little samples! Chicken livers, tripe and potatoes, seafood salad, pickled pumpkin, cod with cruschi peppers, shrimp in pink sauce, and a platter of local cured meats! Then there's the pizza with very refined ingredients... like pistachio cream!!!! The dough is truly excellent! The house Aglianico wine is exquisite! Among the desserts, the ricotta cream with salted caramel stands out! A place to try at least once in your life!

I had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant located in the evocative Policoro Castle, a truly captivating setting that makes the experience even more special. The soft lighting and intimate atmosphere create an elegant and relaxing atmosphere, perfect for both a romantic dinner and a quiet evening with friends. The cuisine is top-notch: the fish is incredibly fresh, and the quality of the ingredients is immediately apparent. The dishes are carefully prepared, beautifully presented, and rich in flavor, with a perfect balance between tradition and creativity. Each course was a pleasant discovery. An added bonus is definitely the owner, always kind, helpful, and attentive to the needs of his guests, who puts them at ease from the moment they arrive.
