having lunch in a typical Sasso Matera is an experience in itself, but if you add excellent food and fast but kind service you get a memorable experience!!!

The restaurant is very interestingly placed - in a cave!
There were a couple of tables outside but we decided to sit inside and it was a bit muggy, but the atmosphere was captivating.
Our server didn't know good English but we made it work.
Food was very pleasant to the senses. The pasta was homemade, the rosé was delicious and they gave us bread.
I am looking forward to dining here again!
Everything was good and the place was very nice.

Exceptional experience with exquisite typical food and friendly staff. Excellent value for money! All very good! Well done guys, fast and attentive service! The cave environment is suggestive. We tried the Cialleda, like bread soaked in tomato, the bean soups (crapiata) and cereals were very good, the cheeses with honey were exquisite, the pistachio and cream dessert (nun's tit) was superb, a true lust for the palate! Finish with meloncello! Everything highly recommended!

Beautiful and welcoming place, above all very suggestive. Excellent cuisine in line with tradition, friendly and helpful staff. You eat well, you drink well and... you feel good! Highly recommended!

Abbiamo mangiato davvero molto bene.
Consiglio le orecchiette cime di rapa e peperone crusco. Dovete assaggiarlo e la tetta della monaca.

A nice place in a deep cave that is worth the short walk down the hill to dine here. The décor is fresh, clean and inviting. The food included a range of local dishes, and the ones we tried were fresh, tasty and filling. Service was friendly and the meals were served in a timely manner. There is an extensive list of bottled wine as well as their house white wines. The night out was value for money. Highly recommended.
