Quarry Lounge Terrace In Matera

The restaurant has a beautiful view of Matera. We dined here with an incredible view of the city. We had the seafood tasting menu (for some reason, both people have to order the same menu, even though my partner wanted the land menu and I wanted the seafood, we were forced to choose the same one, even though there are no sharing dishes!). The menu is expensive, but the food is good. The portions are small, but there are plenty of different dishes on the menu, but I hope that if you order a pasta dish outside the tasting menu, the portions will be more generous. The wine was a little warm, and putting it on ice wasn't enough to bring it to a good serving temperature, which is a shame... The limoncello and tiramisu were very good. It's a good restaurant for a special occasion.

Beautiful panoramic terrace in this restaurant at the Resort Hotel in Mattera. Very good service. Didn't try the hotel, but it was certainly very good.

My wife and I booked this restaurant in January 2025. When we arrived there was no table reserved for us. The reservation was lost by thei staff. After showing our email and being totally disappointed to not get a table with a great view. Lorenzo looked at everything and took complete control of the situation. He gave us a great table with the view we wanted. He is really great at his job. The food was out of this world great as was the service we received. On this night we felt special. This place is a must go to. We travel extensively and it a top restaurant for sure.

The hotel and service are very good. I would highlight the person at breakfast, who was very friendly and helpful. This doesn't detract from the rest of the staff who treated us very well.

The hotel is excellent. It has a terrace where you can enjoy a drink or dinner with a spectacular view. The attention of the entire staff is first-class. We would like to highlight the kindness and dedication of María and Giovanna at reception, who took our every need into account and advised us on everything.
