The quality/price ratio wasn't in proportion. The wait staff was quite helpful and friendly, and the atmosphere was nice, but I can't say I enjoyed the food. The portions weren't enough for everyone to enjoy what was served. I personally had a mixed roast platter made entirely of bones...the only thing left to smell was the meat.

The best restaurant in the area. In this idyllic rural setting, you can enjoy excellent traditional Italian cuisine made with high-quality ingredients. I will definitely be back!

Excellent restaurant, tried during a motorcycle tour of the beautiful Basilicata region. I'll definitely be back. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Sunday, February 15. Beautiful, typical local restaurant. Large dining room, perhaps too crowded, very noisy. The fireplace gave off a pungent smoky smell, but the owner managed to fix it. The dishes were delicious, from appetizers to first courses. One complaint was that the cruski peppers were cold and rubbery, sticking to your teeth. The wait was long, 40 minutes. The sausage between the first and second courses was too salty, but the salad was good. For dessert... the Carnival chiacchiere were rubbery and I think they were fried in lard. Kudos to the waiters, who were excellent and quick, and listened to requests and fulfilled them. A 10 out of 10 for the waiters.

I returned after a year, prices tripled. The appetizer for two cured meats was a slice of prosciutto, a slice of capocollo, and a slice of salami. The rest covers everything per person. Many dishes, but nothing inside. You can't serve a plate with two small mushrooms, and on another a slice of eggplant and two chili peppers stuffed with tuna. Put them together and you make a better impression. It's not a criticism, but an observation. However, for someone who comes from outside, it's something to think about, and it's an opinion. Thanks. Given the prices, I wouldn't go back again.

A true oasis of flavor and local culinary tradition, nestled in the greenery of a dense forest just outside Tricarico. The restaurant and staff are very welcoming, but above all, the menu offers excellent options for any occasion. The large stone fireplace warming the dining room is a special highlight. All the dishes are delicious and carefully prepared, the cured meats are top-notch, and the meat dishes are perfectly grilled. It makes you want to order the same dishes again as soon as you eat them.
