04/06/2025: My companions and I dined here for lunch at around 12 noon on a Wednesday. We each got the light lunch menu which was around 24 euros. It includes a main course, a dessert, coffee, and water. The tortelli ripieni al lucioperca was delicious and filling. I highly recommend it. The tiramisu and crème brûlée are really good and are highly recommended as well. The staff are efficient and hospitable. The ambience was lovely and the interiors are tastefully designed. We look forward to dining here again when we come back to Stresa.

La atención fue magnífica, pues es el mismo dueño quien te trae la comida, orientando cada aspecto del menú. ¡Gracias, Mario! Este no es un restaurante de lujo ni un restaurante turístico… ¡es una verdadera trattoria donde se sirve comida italiana de casa!

28/04/2025: I have eaten a delicious pizza with a thin and crispy crust. It was suggested to me by Mario, the same owner of this trattoria who welcomes and serves diners with such friendliness. The menu is varied, but not pretentious. It is not a luxury restaurant, but it is far from a tourist restaurant where the food is not real. Here you eat like at home, family food, a real experience of the real Italy.

27/04/2025: Serata del 25 Aprile, ovviamente molto calma, il nostro tavolo di 4 persone piu un altro tavolo di 2 persone. Atmosfera molto tranquilla e accoglimento molto professionale. Ci siamo seduti davanti al camino e abbiamo avuto a nostra disposizione 2 camerieri molto premurosi dopo la visita di quello che presumo fosse il titolare che ci ha illustrato il meno e preso le scelte. Da sotto lineare che siccome il nostro tavolo era composto di 3 persone di lingua inglese i camerieri sono stati molto bravi nell'esposizione e spiegazione dei piatti in Inglese ed anche il menu ci e' stato fornito in inglese, nulla da eccepire. Abbiamo tutti optato per il menu Habitat ed essendoci stata offerta l'opzione di sostituire una portata abbiamo tutti escluso la Lievre en Crute ed abbiamo optato per le Lumache nel Verde. Due dei nostri commensali hanno optato per l'opzione Wine Pairing, gli altri 2 commensali hanno optato per un calice di Alta Langa. I 3 antipasti si sono rilevati unici e molto gustosi, li consiglierei a tutti in quanto sono piatti diversi che non si mangiano sovente, ottima la presentazione, l'accopiamento degli ingredienti ed il gusto. Il primo piatto Dischi Volanti (Castelmagno, Fieno e Chartreuse) non lo raccomanderei a nessuno. La pasta era appena tiepida, il gusto amaro e forte, 2 dei commensali hanno appena assaggiato e gli altri 2 ne hanno lasciato la meta'. Ovviamente e' stato notato e ci e' stato chiesto se non era piaciuto ed abbiamo risposto che cosi era e ci e' stata offerta la possibilita' di un'alternativa ma abbiamo gentilemente ringraziato e declinato. Il secondo piatto Indivia Riccia e' molto povero e l'unico gusto che ho assaporato e quello di una verdura sfilacciata con un sugo di carne, non la raccomanderei a nessuno, la porzione e' molto limitata e considerando che a nessuno dei commensali e' piaciuto la scarsa porzione e' stata d'aiuto. Il dolce finale ha un sapore fresco ma sicuramente non un ricordo memorabile. Con cio detto la cosa che piu' e' dispiaciuta e' stato il Wine Pairing. Non e' stato presentata una scelta dei famosi del piemonte tipo Barolo o Barbaresco, onestamente non ricodo tutti i vini se non il Dolcetto ed il Sangiovese sicuramente non due vini memorabili, non raccomanderei a nessuno di fidarsi di questa opzione, sicuramente il Wine Pairing e' stata una scelta molto sbagliata e da un ristorante di questo livello ci siaspetta molto di piu, il margine che il ristorante ne ricava e' sicuramnte molto elevato offrendo questi vini. Devo ripetere che il personale e' stato molto professionale ed attento e a loro darei un 9, al cibo uno 5 scarso e ai vini un 4. La qualita' prezzo sicuramente lascia molto a desiderare e onestamente non penso che tornero' preso a fare visita.

12/06/2025: We arrived in Rome the day we ate at Glass Hostaria, and it certainly was a great first meal. From the canapés and amuse bouche, to the dessert, and the wine pairings that went with them, it was a great experience. We did the tasting menu, and the portions were great, the wines went beautifully with the food, and the room and service were great.

06/05/2025: This restaurant was absolutely amazing. We dined there on a lightly sprinkling night, March 16, 2025 at about 8pm after mass in Assisi in the lower church above St. Francis’ tomb. My wife had the Bolognese, I had the Margherita pizza, our daughter had buttered pasta. The food was amazing, from bread service to wine, and dessert, absolutely amazing. The service was on point, very attentive and caring service staff. The facility was clean, elegant and sentimental in that perfect reminiscent atmosphere a person wants in a true Italian dining experience. We highly recommend this place! Can’t say enough good about this place!

11/05/2025: Ogni tanto mi piace tornare in questo ristorante. È sempre in ordine, pulito, elegante e si mangia bene! Sia la cucina che la pizza sono davvero molto buoni! Abbiamo dei parenti che ogni volta che ci vengono a trovare dal Trentino soggiornano anche nel loro hotel e si trovano sempre divinamente! Tutto pulitissimo e tenuto bene, curato nel minimo particolare! Bravi!!

22/05/2025: Vastly overpriced exhibition (25€) peddling ideological tropes rather than the 300 design items we went to see. Apparently these have been removed but we weren't informed. It's a wonderful space but, sadly, full of pretentious nonsense. The best part was the café in the basement... Visit the Museo Scienza down the road for a superior museum experience at less than half the price

05/04/2025: al termine di una piacevole sciata,,,quasi direttamente con gli sci ai piedi...ecco il superchalet valbona.....c'e' di tutto e tutto di ottima qualita'(nella terrazza dello chalet ho gustato anchw le ostriche francesi con il prosecco di Valdobbiadene !!)..pizze,panini di tutti i tipi,polentta goulash e funghi,insalatone,cotolette etc etc con birre alla spina di tutti i tipi e buffet di salumi,formaggi e dolci.Ritrovo super anche per i non sciatori,,,aperto e consigliatissimo anche nel periodo estivo.

17/06/2025: The experience of tonight has been bad. We were a table of 14 people. We arrived between 20:00h to 20:30h. The restaurant was half empty at that moment. Until past 21:10h they didn't come for the ordrers. We ordered few starters (cold dishes) that arrived around 21:30h. At 22:10h, the main dishes were not yet at the table when, in the meanwhile, other tables that arrived at the same hour had finished, gone, and the next clients sitting and being attended on that tables. Others that arrived later than us, on the desserts. The worst part comes when I went to the waiter (the girl with the piercing in the nose) and politely asked how long would it take for the dishes. Her face was like she didn't understanding me, so I replied we arrived more than 2 hours ago and we are waiting for the main dishes. Serously, her: "You have been brought the starters". You have to wait. -Yes, but 1 hour after we ordered. - You have to wait. - But now it's been 2 hours we arrived... - (from behind the screen, without looking at me): You have to wait. - I am just trying to say in a positive way that we are waiting. - The restaurant is full, you have to wait. - Do not take it as a personal offense, I just wanted to let you know that we are waiting... Then, she stopped attending our table. The other girl forgot my desert -which is not a problem, this can happen, but when you have been treated in a disgusting way before and you already do not feel confortable the experience gets worse easily-. Finally, the price was 43€ per person -expensove for what it was-. We ordered 3-4 shared starters, wine (not a speficic one) and one dish and desert per person. The food was nice. If I pay this amunt of money, I expect more than nice food. Some of our col·legues had to leave the dinner before we finished because it became late. We left the restaurant later than 23:30h, being the last table of the restaurant. And we did it just after the last deserts were eaten. Finally, my italian colleague asked the waiter about the situation. And I perfectly could understand the justification she gave to her: "the pasta needs time" and "it was a language misunderstanding". Honestly, you don't need an English proficiency level to understand a behavior, a voice tone, a non verbal language... a polite person. Bad experience.

It is undoubtedly the most beautiful classical concert we have ever experienced. The atmosphere in the early hours of the morning, when the music plays and the sun slowly rises over the Amalfi Coast, is simply magical and touches the soul. Since it is always difficult to get tickets for this exclusive event, we are particularly grateful that we, as guests of the Pink Palace Hotel, enjoy a small advantage here. A big thank you goes to Antonio, who always takes great care of the tickets. This time we were also surprised with a special upgrade - a suite that left nothing to be desired. Fantastically furnished and with a breathtaking view of the Amalfi Coast, the stay was pure enjoyment. The hotel itself impresses with its location high above the coast. The view is breathtaking - you could just sit there for hours and enjoy the beauty of nature. But it's not just the surroundings that are a highlight: the entire Pink Palace team is extremely warm and attentive. The service is first class – a full five stars, without question.
