We had a delicious lunch during our walk. Local specialties and homemade drinks! A nice family business where everyone helps to provide guests with a well-deserved lunch.

The best Kaiserschmarrn in the area, fresh porcini mushrooms with bread dumplings, and fresh buttermilk with raspberry juice... it doesn't get any better. Top quality, prepared, plated, and served with love and care... Well worth the trip, even if it means going a little out of your way...

The Maiser Alm is truly rustic, authentic, and cozy. We felt very comfortable there when we had to take refuge from a thunderstorm. The food was delicious (the best Kaiserschmarrn ever in a mountain hut) and the owner was very friendly. The restrooms are modern. It's worth not staying directly at the Moschwaldalm but continuing on. Highly recommended!

We visited three times during our vacation! We love the Maiser Alm! The atmosphere is wonderful, the food is delicious, and the owners are lovely. ...and the homemade Vinschgau sausages! 😋 Thank you again!!! 🙏 We will definitely be back!

A rustic alpine hut with comfortable outdoor seating, friendly service, and delicious food. Daily specials are always posted on a board at the entrance.

Hotel Restaurant Rosengarten

15/06/2026: Very kind crew of the beautiful hotel. It is located in a beautiful nature area. Several hundred meters above ( to reach bij cable or by car), you can have beautiful hikes, who are relatively flat with a beautiful panorama. And the aperolspritz is great and not expensive.
14/06/2026: We stayed at Hotel Rechenmachers Rosengarten for four nights and had a wonderful time. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the balcony offered beautiful mountain views on both sides. There was plenty of parking available, and several hiking trails start directly from the hotel. Breakfast was good, although the selection was somewhat limited. The swimming pool is quite small, so it can feel busy at times. The location is excellent for exploring the Dolomites, with highlights such as Lago di Carezza just a short drive away. A supermarket can also be found a few minutes away in Nova Levante. Overall, a very pleasant stay in a beautiful setting, and a great base for discovering the Dolomites.
