22/06/2025: The service was great, and the 5-course breakfast was a nice surprise. We also liked the wellness area. We were lucky and were able to use two of the four spaces on the day of arrival, which meant we could use the sauna. The older room in the hotel, which we were assigned based on our special offer, was functional. Only the electrical appliances (hairdryer) should be checked for safety. 😅 Otherwise, everything was perfect! The place is quite remote on the mountain. Probably a perfect starting point for hikes. We were mostly in Merano and didn't explore the surrounding area.

20/06/2025: Top hotel and a lifesaver! We were passing through on our motorcycles and had already booked a nearby hotel, but due to circumstances, we had to change hotels. We booked late in the evening on a weekday through Booking.com. We arrived less than half an hour later, and the room was already ready. The kitchen had been cold for over an hour, but we were still served a hot meal upon request (since we probably looked more than exhausted). The room we were given at short notice was modern, well-equipped, and extremely clean. The beds were also very comfortable. The breakfast at the hotel was probably the best we had in our week in Italy; none of us had such a healthy and delicious breakfast in our lives. All in all, a great hotel, super friendly, polite, and guest-oriented staff/operators, and delicious, regional, and healthy food. Thank you again for your hospitality and the extra steps you took for my colleagues and me. If we ever pass by the pass again, we'd definitely be happy to stay again.

26/07/2025: Didn’t love the menu. Chose the pork shank, which was nice. My husband had eel. Nicely done if you love eel. All ok.

21/07/2025: An experience not to be repeated. After notifying the reservation staff that I didn't eat seafood and reiterating this to the waiter, the first appetizer they served was shrimp with a sauce! Lack of attention... after dessert, they informed us that they would bring fruit, which was preceded by coffee... Lack of attention... service not up to par for a one-star restaurant.

13/07/2025: Very disappointed after several previous visits. Food was average at best, staff was disengaged and spending more time on cellphones then taking care of guests

14/08/2025: Every course was a wow...actually, a whoop!! The favorite of all...the fregola (damn, the photo doesn't do it justice, so I won't upload it). An incredible explosion of flavors! All the freshest ingredients, flavors, and contrasts. The outdoor setting is pleasant, soft, well-lit, and furnished. Highly recommended. The only drawback (the reason for the missing star) is the time.... 10 minutes on the clock for someone to come and take your order, another 10 minutes (after requesting) for the bread (by the way....so good in its various shapes and flours!!!!!) and water. In short, after 1 hour and 15 minutes, only the fregola arrived. We booked at 9:30 PM (the place was full, and they deserved it), and left at 11:15 PM with 1 first course and 2 second courses. Too much, even though you should enjoy your vacation without rushing, you can't just feel the need to stretch your legs.

12/08/2025: Unfortunately, my experience at the restaurant wasn't a positive one. The atmosphere is very pleasant and well-maintained, but the service is practically non-existent. The waiters are curt and stern. I even asked for more wine to be added to my glass, and was very rudely told that was the amount for one glass. I would have appreciated it if they'd accommodated my request, or at most if they'd added a surcharge to the wine price! Plus, the wait for dishes was incredibly long... Regarding the quality of the food, there's nothing to complain about.

08/08/2025: A fitting reward after all the walking. Magnificent restaurant. A warm, friendly, and welcoming welcome. Delicious food. I highly recommend it, it's definitely worth the detour☺️

24/06/2025: We celebrated our wedding in this wonderful place on Lake Orta, and we can only say beautiful words about that perfect day. Enchanting and suggestive place, impeccable service, superlative food. There was not a detail that was not taken care of to perfection. We thank Il Giardinetto infinitely for making our wedding unique, and we recommend it wholeheartedly. I would add that we have attended it on other occasions, both for our son's baptism, and for dinner and aperitif and we can only confirm the same satisfaction every time. 22/06/2025: Wonderful place, great location. Staff were all attentive & service great. Amazing restaurant food & great rooftop bar. Perfect location with infinity pool & lake for swimming paddleboarding and boating

04/08/2025: Siamo capitati qui per caso, un locale molto carino e ben curato… menù non classico ma abbastanza innovativo e ricercato, con anche piatti tipici della tradizione. Pizza molto buona. Il servizio molto veloce e premuroso, l’unico consiglio che posso dare è di fare attenzione ai tempi con cui portare i piatti ai vari membri del tavolo, sarebbe carino portarli insieme. Per il resto tutto molto buono, soprattutto il tortino al cioccolato! Il migliore mai mangiato in vita mia! Consigliato! Torneremo sicuramente se ci sarà modo

02/08/2025: Menù e location accattivanti, personale incantante ma il pescato fresco del giorno non è tariffato a menù; quindi abbiamo avuto un conto salato perché non ci è stato indicato il prezzo della pietanza e anche del vino consigliato dal personale molto costoso. Conclusione buono ma caro.

04/08/2025: Very nice location. The food is average, but nothing special. The service is very unfriendly, and the prices are completely unreasonable. All in all, a bit of a disappointment.

18/07/2025: A truly beautiful outdoor spot. The first courses were decent, and the orecchiette were very good. The second course was a fried dish that was passed off as fried fish but was actually just zucchini: so bad it made me feel sick that night.

18/07/2025: The menu features seafood dishes, but the quantity is very limited. The atmosphere is very beautiful and refined.

21/07/2025: We went for family lunch on Sunday. The staff were friendly and attentive, the service impeccable. We ordered two pizzas, which I personally found to be perfect for my taste: well-cooked, thinly crusted, and perfectly topped. Plus, a delicious plate of spaghetti with clams, perfectly cooked pasta, generous toppings, and excellent seafood. We'll be back, thanks.

17/07/2025: Fantastic location with a spectacular view of the lake, especially at dusk. Excellent air conditioning inside and a fantastic, well-ventilated veranda on hot days. Neat and well-maintained furnishings. Quick table service performed by qualified staff. Excellent food and a wide variety of more than good, elongated pizzas served on wooden boards with an old-fashioned flavour. EXCELLENT

24/07/2025: A very nice hotel with spacious rooms. It's located by the road, but there's little traffic at night. There's a stable nearby, but only a faint odor emanating from it. The food was okay: breakfast wasn't very varied, but dinner was filling, tasty, and varied. The trip was part of the Horyzonty travel agency.

18/07/2025: Well, maybe we were just unlucky. However, we only got disgusting drinks. Only one of the three of us got lunch. The other two ordered but didn't get anything. We left hungry after over an hour. In the service's defense, about 10 people ate there, so it was manageable.

02/08/2025: Siamo stati in questo ristorante svariate volte, ogni volta ci siamo trovati molto bene. Abbiamo assaggiato quasi tutti tipi di carne anche quelli meno comuni come la carne di cammello. Ottima scelta per ogni esigenza e gusto. Consigliato se si vuole mangiare bene e qualcosa di diverso

Oltre le spiagge stupende della Sardegna, il mare viene servito all’Happy West direttamente in tavola e il vostro palato non potrà che ringraziarvi ! Provate il carosello di antipasti di mare seguito da sua maestà Fregola e cosa dirvi…. Provate per credere vi accoglieranno a braccia aperte e vi sentirete a casa ❣️

26/05/2025: Hemos vuelto muchas veces a esta hermosa villa en los últimos veinte años. Dirigida por la familia durante muchas generaciones, la bienvenida siempre es cálida para todos. La comida es excelente, de temporada y preparada con cuidado. Elección de vino, nunca decepciona. El servicio es excepcional. Todo dentro de esta hermosa villa con su autenticidad situada en impresionantes jardines. Por supuesto que volveremos. Gracias.

06/05/2025: Cena ottima, prodotti della zona, personale gentile , simpatico e preparato. Prezzo un po' alto, ma la qualità si paga, giustamente. Carciofi ottimi come la carne e le tagliatelle fatte in casa. Ottimi gli amari.

16/04/2025: Hotel 5 min walk from Biella S.Paolo station. Cozy and clean, rooms with everything you need. Each room has a convenient magnetic card that allows access to the hotel when there are no staff. The only flaw, if I want to point out one, is the only power socket at the desk and not near the bed. Friendly and helpful staff. Buffet breakfast in the pastry bar, also accessible to those who are not staying, with Iginio Massari pastry products. The location is perfect both for taking public transport (stops before Piazza Adua or at the nearby train station) and for dining around for lunch/dinner and for visiting the center on foot. I recommend it!
