15/02/2025: We chose Macchianera for Valentine's Day dinner, trusting in the quality of the service and cuisine that we had always appreciated in our previous visits. However, this evening's experience proved to be significantly below expectations. The order was taken within an acceptable time, but the wait for the first courses was excessively long, even though they were the same for both. This delay is in no way justifiable by the confusion in the room, considering the standard of the venue and the price paid. Furthermore, the staff appeared distracted and did not pay attention to details, further compromising the quality of the service. In the past, I remembered a clearly superior care in the explanation of the dishes, with an attentive and precise service, capable of enhancing the gastronomic experience. This evening, unfortunately, this was not the case: the presentation was summary, lacking the professionalism that makes a dinner special. The kitchen, which on other occasions had stood out for its care and attention in preparations, did not shine this evening. Although the raw materials were of good quality, the dishes arrived with considerable delay and without the attention to detail that we expected. Paying 70 euros each implies impeccable service and a top-quality dinner, but unfortunately this was not the case. Despite having had much better experiences in the past, this dinner left us dissatisfied. The place has always maintained a certain standard, but this time we can't say the same. We hope it was an isolated incident, but under these conditions, we don't think we want to return.

Sufre un poco de haber permanecido igual durante muchos años —siento que es menos único de lo que era antes, pero aún tiene maravillosos platos pre-hechos para llevar a casa, excelentes productos y alimentos en conserva, y carne, queso y pan de clase mundial. Su modelo operativo es extraño: si puedes llamar la atención de los muchos asistentes, dejarán tus selecciones a un lado para ti y te entregarán una tarjeta. Lleva esa carta a los mostradores que toman tus decisiones. Y luego tomas la tarjeta y pagas todas tus selecciones. Luego vuelves a cada mostrador con tu recibo, y si puedes llamar la atención de los muchos asistentes, cada uno te dará lo que compraste. El embalaje es tan bonito y bien - ejecutado que te olvidas de pasar la mayor parte del tiempo en la tienda preguntándote si eras invisible. Claramente no aman a los estadounidenses, que es su derecho. Y tiene sentido que quieran cultivar clientes repetidos entre los locales, no con turistas a los que nunca volverán a ver. Pero podrían hacerlo menos obvio con un modelo que me dejara pagar en cada mostrador. La comida es increíble. Lo llevamos de vuelta a nuestros apartamentos y tuvimos una cena maravillosa y nos acostamos temprano.

24/03/2025: absolute masterpiece of a building. the collection for italian design museum is amazing, with very good texts explaining the work. good organisation and a very intuitive way to follow the exhibition. i visited the jürgen teller exhibition there as well, which was one of the greatest exhibitions i have seen (big fan of his work). extraordinary gift shop! the research space is beautiful room with desks and outlets, good to get some work done. great library avalible for the public as well! the cafe, both inside and outside, has good coffee and snacks. the triennale garden is one of my favourite places in milan. i could not recommend this more! if i could visit only one museum in milan, i would make sure its this one.

07/02/2025: Este restaurante fue recomendado por nuestro gondolero. Parecen muchos restaurantes venecianos inteligentes, pero la comida, el servicio y el ambiente superaron nuestras expectativas en una ciudad de renombre por la comida mediocre cara. Los platos destacados fueron la pasta casera de tonnarelli con mariscos y una exquisita lingüina de cangrejo. El restaurante estaba lleno, pero era manejado por un atento maestro y su amable equipo. Este fue con mucho el mejor restaurante en el que hemos estado en nuestros viajes a Venecia y el paseo en góndola de 80 € resultó ser dinero bien gastado.

03/02/2025: Tuvimos una noche maravillosa con excelente comida. El restaurante ofrece auténtica cocina italiana, genuina, honesta y llena de sabor. El servicio era bueno, aunque un poco reservado, que sin embargo se adaptó bien al ambiente. En general, estábamos muy satisfechos y volveríamos encantados!
