19/04/2025: Have been wanting to eat at this restaurant since I saw Bourdain eat here on the Venice episode of no reservations. It doesn’t happen often, but the restaurant did not only meet my expectations, but it surpassed them. Tucked away in this beautiful island you will have without a doubt one of the best meals to be had in Venice. Emailed ahead of time for a reservation, take in the island and then sit down and enjoy your meal in an incredible restaurant. My only regret is not trying their fried seafood platter!

15/04/2025: The place was very pretty, the servers very pleasant. We ordered the langoustine risotto for two, it was succulent and very well served. The dessert cart had a pistachio cheeskake and a sort of Norwegian omelette with a delicious orange meringue.

01/04/2025: Domenica sono stata a pranzo , con mio marito, da Paniga, scelto ,come esperienza regalo di un cofanetto Smartbox, oltre che per le sue recensioni, anche per la sua vicinanza al lago d'Orta. Entrambi siamo stati molto soddisfatti per la bella location ,la gentilezza del personale e soprattutto per le squisite portate di pesce. Sicuramente ritorneremo

07/12/2024: Niet ver van de villa ligt dit pareltje verscholen. De gerechten die er geserveerd worden zijn zeer verzorgd en zonde rmeer lekker. Het gaat om tradinitionele gerechten met een moderne twist. De bediening is casual en leuk. En vergeet zeker niet te genieten van het zicht: adembenemend. Spring zeker binnen, het totaal concept is de moeite waard.

01/11/2024: Ambiente ovattato e luminoso. Musica piacevole di sottofondo. Sembrava di essere in un albergo di lusso viziati all’ennesima potenza. Piatti ineccepibili ( come sempre ). La signora ti tratta con raffinata cordialità. Il marito in cucina penso con un numeroso staff sa Il fatto suo. Meriterebbe almeno una stella.

One of the things that struck me most are the prices: they are really low, and in some cases even lower than the competition! Whether it's a delicious breakfast, a quick lunch break, an afternoon or evening aperitif, or a moment of relaxation after dinner, the BAR Chignon has something for all tastes. And I can't fail to mention Giulia, the owner, who really knows how to make every customer feel valued and special. It's clear that he cares about creating a positive experience for everyone who enters his bar. In short, BAR Chignon is the ideal place to enjoy a break, and I can't wait to return for another visit! 12/04/2025: It was a wonderful surprise to spend an evening in the welcoming and elegant environment of this venue where furnishings, musical instruments, paintings, records, background music... transported us to the fascinating world of the jazz club!! we will be back!!👍
