13/07/2025: Absolutely terrible service, the waiter in question rudely asked me to move to a smaller table when the place was practically empty. I was there to watch a sporting event and kept getting looks from the staff who made me feel unwelcome. Will not be going again

20/08/2025: What a joy to discover a restaurant that's been in the family for several generations. Sitting down at the table, you feel like part of the family. Luciana, Lia, Alphonso, and Guido are so welcoming. From starters to desserts, everything is homemade and delicious. I highly recommend it for your visit to the Abruzzo region.

16/08/2025: DO NOT GO! We felt sick that night and the next morning. The Ferragosto menu was terrible. The appetizer didn't live up to expectations. The first course was overcooked pasta. The second course was flavorless ravioli. The second course was overcooked and the portions were minimal. The dessert pizza was perhaps a good choice. All this for €40 per person, which seems a bit excessive given the quality of the food.

30/06/2025: reviewing is a responsibility for the future performance of the business so for me the stars alone are not enough so I tell you the pizzeria can hide the quality of the products used in many ways but not on the tuna and it is very difficult and I can guarantee you that it is a branded tuna because for 40 years the pizza I take has always had tuna present and this pizzeria is one of the very rare ones that cares about quality as well as honest price and fast delivery today is the 4th time that everything is perfect highly recommended 🙂🙂🙂

21/08/2025: We went to this restaurant attracted by the idea of ​​an indoor playground for the kids, but unfortunately, that was the only "positive" thing about the experience. The menu is embarrassing, to say the least: just pizza, fried foods, and the usual cutlet with fries. No first courses, no healthy or balanced options, not even the slightest effort to offer variety or quality. If you're expecting something different or a dish prepared with even a little attention to detail, forget it. The worst part, however, was the bill: a frozen cutlet (the kind you find at Eurospin for €2.99 for 5) with some fries for over €11. A complete and utter mockery. At these prices, I would at least expect fresh, freshly cooked food, certainly not a school cafeteria dish at gourmet restaurant prices. I understand there's a playground, but that can't be an excuse to serve subpar food at exorbitant prices. We definitely won't be returning, and I won't recommend it to anyone.

02/07/2025: My favorite pizzeria❤️. Very good quality of ingredients, excellent value for money, only thing is that the calzones are a bit dry. When there are a lot of people it is a bit difficult to order and there is not a real queue

21/06/2025: My favorite in ABSOLUTE, both the old and the new management, the taste of Ottavio's tomato is super recognizable, hot, tasty, without mozzarella (which I LOVE and prefer) or with, both are excellent. Kind, courteous staff and attentive to customer requests. I have been eating pizza at Ottavio for 25 years and it has NEVER disappointed me once, absolutely TOP of the range among the various pizzerias that are in the hills, for me the best, better than Giampiero or Odissea ... the only one that can stand the comparison is Frate Tac, but that's another story ... Keep it up guys ❤️

12/08/2025: We stayed at this hotel the first week of August and had a great time. The entertainment was perfect for small children, always attentive and available. The hotel is comfortable and directly overlooks the sea, making it convenient for those with small children. It's also located on the seafront, so if you wanted to go out in the evening, you could walk there; there were always rides and stalls. As for the downsides, they were definitely the rooms—at least ours—which were very old and therefore unattractive, even though they were very spacious and had a sea view. And the quality of the food, too. Some days we had a great time, others less so. There's a variety of food, but it's always the same (e.g., always roast, even if cooked differently each time). The idea of a typical Abruzzo and international evening was nice. Overall, we had a great time. 😁

31/08/2025: We had dinner here one evening on vacation. We came here for the wide selection of gluten-free options! I have to say, the pizza was really good. Not too thin and well-topped! I struggled to finish it... the other pizzas were really good too, since the kids even cleaned their plates :) In the end, we participated in their game and even won! We'll definitely be back because the food is good... highly recommended.

24/08/2025: Terrible food quality! Absolutely NOT RECOMMENDED! We ordered five pizzas for €70.50. The dough was almost nonexistent in consistency, lacking salt, and overcooked. The worst part was ordering a "San Daniele" pizza with the eponymous prosciutto, opening the box and finding no trace of the prosciutto! We immediately contacted the restaurant but received no response! There are no other words to say...

25/06/2025: Pizzeria in Pescara Porta Nuova by Chiara, originating from Campania, which is reflected in the quality and uniqueness of the dishes. You can also taste meat. Parking is difficult to find. I recommend it.

06/07/2025: I was blown away by my experience at this pizzeria. From the first bite, you can tell that quality is at home here. The pizza dough is simply perfect! Light, fragrant, and with that irresistible crust that only a perfectly done leavening can give. The staff was incredibly kind, attentive, and fast. The place is well-kept, clean and perfect. In short, if you are looking for real Italian pizza, the kind that makes you close your eyes for a moment of pure ecstasy, you can't miss out on coming here.
