12/07/2025: Truly beautiful place, kind and helpful owner, good quality Abruzzese cuisine using local ingredients. The large, handmade arrosticini are top notch. I'm not giving it a 5-star rating because there's always room for improvement. I've been several times and the quality is always excellent.

14/07/2025: A small but surprising restaurant, with excellent (unusual) sushi. The combinations of ingredients that make up the maki are intriguing, as are the sauces used, which brighten everything and go very well together. The atmosphere is enriched by Carioca notes, making the place calm and relaxing. I really enjoyed the complimentary dish. Congratulations. I think we'll see each other again! 😉

11/10/2025: Never ever! The worst meal in Pescara: 2 spaghetti vongole (greasy and tasteless) and 2 glasses of 0.1 l wine for €50

05/10/2025: Very unfriendly staff, spaghetti was undercooked, uneven portions. Glass of red wine 7 euros. Price-quality ratio is really not right. Not recommended.

02/09/2025: It looks like a bar, but it has every indication of wanting to be a nightclub. The atmosphere is dark, with music of a single genre pounding at a volume that doesn't allow for conversation at the table. The staff, at times bored and a little annoyed, quickly dismisses requests. Not recommended.

07/08/2025: I've never had a better pizza!!! It came with an aperitif, a drink, and a selection of appetizers, all delicious. I went back to eat at this lovely place last night. Everything was delicious and appetizing. The service was excellent; the girl who brought us the platters, pizzas, drinks, and chips was incredibly kind and helpful! And we didn't spend much either... We'll be back as soon as possible.

14/09/2025: Everything in this place is 5 stars, so why 4? Because today I bought three Capriccios to take away (I've been dreaming about it for a month, but unfortunately I don't come to Pescara often) and, as usual, my taste was different from what I'd ordered. I called and they told me to bring it back for an exchange... I certainly don't bring it back half-eaten in the middle of Sunday lunch! They kindly offered to bring it back on Tuesday, if only I could, but still, let's be honest, who would leave a wonderful Capriccio uneaten? Thanks anyway, and see you next time!

02/07/2025: My favorite pizzeria❤️. Very good quality of ingredients, excellent value for money, only thing is that the calzones are a bit dry. When there are a lot of people it is a bit difficult to order and there is not a real queue

21/06/2025: My favorite in ABSOLUTE, both the old and the new management, the taste of Ottavio's tomato is super recognizable, hot, tasty, without mozzarella (which I LOVE and prefer) or with, both are excellent. Kind, courteous staff and attentive to customer requests. I have been eating pizza at Ottavio for 25 years and it has NEVER disappointed me once, absolutely TOP of the range among the various pizzerias that are in the hills, for me the best, better than Giampiero or Odissea ... the only one that can stand the comparison is Frate Tac, but that's another story ... Keep it up guys ❤️

17/09/2025: Even though the management has changed, the food is delicious...the prices have always remained super competitive...I find them a bit crafty with the bill.

16/09/2025: We had arrosticini and side dishes, with bruschetta as an appetizer. Everything was very good. We also saw some appetizers pass by at other tables, and besides being plentiful, they also looked very good. The staff at the tables were also very kind and helpful.

22/08/2025: I was pleasantly surprised by this restaurant, which was my first time there. They seated me without a reservation and served me promptly. Prices were reasonable, and the fish was very good. I also added a stew after ordering; it was brought quickly, and they made sure it didn't overlap with the order I'd already taken. I'll be back to try other specialties on the menu.

20/08/2025: The price is 2.5 times higher than in supermarkets and the selection is very small.

07/10/2025: They reopened after Concezio's passing. His wife is still in the kitchen. A new menu has been created, offering two fixed-course options of meat and cod, in addition to the same à la carte dishes. The atmosphere has remained the same as before. The cod menu was chosen. The appetizers didn't taste like cod, while the sagne and chickpeas in white sauce and linguine with tomato sauce were just okay. The cod and peppers, with roasted peppers and sweet peppers from Altino, were excellent. I'll be back for the goat.

30/09/2025: A family atmosphere, a cabin surrounded by greenery, and a large fireplace always lit to provide warmth and comfort (...necessary for cooking), make this trattoria unique. Traditional home-cooked cuisine. Matteo, following in the footsteps of his grandfather Concezio, is a young, well-mannered, attentive man who truly knows how to tempt his guests. Typical Abruzzo food, homemade pasta, grilled meats. Everything is very good, although the real specialty is the cod-based cuisine (linguine with cod sauce, cod & potatoes, roasted cod). Excellent!

23/09/2025: Nice enough place, clean tables and comfortable chairs. However, it took about half an hour to order, then we finally started ordering. We ordered a pizza with ham and arugula, two portions of fries, and a Margherita. The wait just for the pizza with arugula and prosciutto was half an hour. The prosciutto was rubbery and hard to chew, and the arugula was acceptable. Then the fries arrived, hot and delicious. After 20 minutes, the Margherita arrived. It was slightly good, but it was just very burnt. Improve, and it will become my favorite restaurant.

04/09/2025: I'm sorry to say it but I didn't find it good. I used to go to this pizzeria often and it had been a while since I'd been back. It seemed to me that they changed the pizza which used to be better then I was sorry that they charged a cover charge for a child of one year and eight months approx. So I asked for a slice of bread for the child and they brought me a slice of bread with tomato. I didn't say anything out of politeness then on the bill they charged me 3 euros for the slice of bread with tomato 🥺🥺🥺 not because I didn't want to pay it but it was also my mistake not to send it back since I had asked for it normal anyway even the baby pizza for the child I asked for a plain white one with sausage and flakes of parmesan on top they brought it to me full of shredded mozzarella the parmesan was I thought it was implied raw there too my mistake I'm sorry to say it I won't go back nothing to take away from those who like it but I know better places

13/10/2025: We had lunch at this restaurant, and unfortunately, I can only give it a negative review. The atmosphere is pleasant and the staff are friendly, but the food is just not up to par. I ordered a raw appetizer and was served a scampi, an oyster, and a tuna tartare. The end. The chitarra pasta with mussels was terrible. Cherry tomatoes were thrown raw in the pasta, dirty mussels, and tasteless pasta. My companion was served meat sushi. Having mentioned his lactose intolerance, we still received a dish with Philadelphia cheese inside. I had ordered a glass of Ulisse rosé and was served Tenuta Bosco. I really wasn't expecting a lunch with all these mistakes. The restaurant has a certain reputation, but it's currently unjustified. I hope it improves because it has so much potential.

28/07/2025: I went into this bar for a coffee. They ask if you want a drop of water with your coffee, and then you find 1.20 for the coffee on your bill, which is fine. Then, shamefully, they charge you 0.30 cents for the water with your coffee. It's never happened to me anywhere in Italy.
