16/07/2025: Very friendly and welcoming service – both the waitress and the owner. The concept of this place is very interesting. A casual, very friendly atmosphere. You come for the antipasti (served on a tiered platter, canapés – I don't remember exactly, 6-8 per person, olives, cheeses – 2 per person, cold cuts, some fruit) – for 12 euros per person. You'll be full. You also order wine or cocktails. The drinks are delicious and large. They cost around 7 euros. The waitress was incredibly patient with us while she searched for the perfect drinks for us. The only thing I would change is the music. Those strange arrangements of well-known songs, all set to one melody, are unbearable. Unfortunately, those are often found in such places, in hotel restaurants, etc. The choice of music is probably a copyright issue.

15/07/2025: A charming and refined place, with a retro atmosphere that I really appreciate. The aperitif was delicious, and the wine selection was excellent. Highly recommended.

23/09/2025: It's been a while since I've been there, but after paying €2.30 for a simple round Margherita pizza, which wasn't very tasty either, I don't think I'll be back. I asked later where the prices were displayed, and they were between the entrance door and the drinks refrigerator, barely visible. Perhaps it's no coincidence that it's out of sight, given the prices.

16/09/2025: Good mini pizzas. I tried several and they were all delicious. The pizzas are generally quite greasy, but that adds to the flavor.

20/08/2025: We arrived right on time, quickly settled at our table, and even though the tables were almost all full, they took our order just as quickly... The best part was: a stray dog ​​(or, as some say, it belongs to a nearby bakery) came in from outside. It was definitely not in perfect health, judging by the patches of baldness on its fur and the drool from its mouth. It sat down next to our table, attracted by my toy poodle... Naturally, we called the waiter, who calmly replied: "The dog isn't ours, we can't do anything about it, it's not our problem"... WE'RE FAR FROM MADNESS! So, is the problem ours? Are we the ones who have to try to push the dog away because it's under our table in your restaurant? Yes indeed! The waiter, without even trying to scare the dog away with a piece of meat or bread (maybe we would have helped, especially since I have two other large dogs and seven cats at home, so you can't accuse me of not loving animals...), walked away from the table with a shrug... We calmly left the restaurant.

20/08/2025: Terrible experience. A restaurant that would be an understatement to call disappointing. For a table of eight, we were forced to choose a maximum of three entrees, as if we were in a school cafeteria and not a restaurant open to the public. We accepted the instructions because there were children at the table. It didn't end there! After we ordered, a dog, perhaps belonging to the neighboring bakery, appeared near our table with stains on its back. We asked the waiter to move it, but he simply said he couldn't because it wasn't his property. Disturbed by the dog's presence—not because we don't like animals, but because a sick dog shouldn't be around the tables—and especially disturbed by the waiters' response, we got up and left.

26/07/2025: The staff is friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The typical Abruzzo cuisine is plentiful and delicious. Highly recommended!

20/07/2025: If you want authentic, well-made arrosticini, you have to come to Giacomino's. Literally "you sit down and eat." Once you arrive, just sit down and forget about anything. A fixed menu, everything delicious and high-quality, and guaranteed laughter. Perfect for getting away from the monotony of the city and eating well amidst beautiful mountain scenery. Friendly service and more than fair prices.

17/08/2025: A very central restaurant, next to Piazza della Rinascita in Pescara. The interior is very well-kept and welcoming, but the outdoor seating, unfortunately, leaves something to be desired... I discovered it by chance one day while looking for a healthy lunch stop. Being a salad lover, I was very pleasantly surprised! The ingredients were incredibly fresh and offered a variety of combinations. Customization is also possible. The waitress was very kind and helpful in my final choice. The dish arrived with a palette of colors... an indescribable visual satisfaction! My only complaint: the basket with the loose bread inside, not even a napkin, is not at all hygienic. The prices are a bit high, but considering the quality, they're acceptable. Definitely worth a try!

16/06/2025: Absolutely Perfect. The food and fresh juices were amazing! So delicious. Even with my allergy There was no Problem and they asked twice to be sure while I was not speaking Italien.

30/09/2025: Very disappointing experience. We arrived at 8 PM with two small kids, ordered right away, but only got our appetizer at 9:15. Our baby’s food came earlier, but the rest was delayed and cold when it finally arrived at 9:30, only after we complained. I ordered an Aperol Spritz but was given a different aperitif without being told. The tuna tartare was average, and the squid was sandy. To make it worse, other tables that arrived later were served much faster. Not a good experience, especially with children.

28/06/2025: My favorite place, the creams are exceptional and luckily there are no useless scams of pastries with mousse, everything is so traditional... except that the last two times I had to eat the croissant from the day before... I hope it was an oversight

13/04/2025: The owner is friendly and knowledgeable, the place is clean and tidy, well done. I don't like the choice of beers but this is my personal taste, prices are too high, 7 euros a pint of beer in a hilltop village is too much. The pizza... so, so, also too expensive, too greasy with oil and not very Neapolitan. In any case, if I were to return to the area I would go back, it's still a pub and pubs should always be frequented.
