16/03/2026: We had a very pleasant experience at Ristorante Shang Hai. The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere with an authentic interior design that makes the place feel cozy and welcoming. The service was impressively fast, and the whole experience felt very well organized. One thing we really liked was the menu system — it’s presented on tablets, which is both convenient and modern. It makes browsing the dishes and ordering very easy. The owner is also very friendly and welcoming, which adds a nice personal touch to the visit. As for the food, the sushi was fresh and very tasty, and the fish quality was excellent. The selection is also quite wide, so there’s plenty to choose from. Overall, a great place to enjoy sushi. Definitely recommended! 🍣

17/05/2026: We started dinner with a beef tartare and fried cheese, each one better than the last, both in presentation and in the quality of the ingredients. The liver and meat arrosticini were truly tender and well-cooked (the meat ones lacked salt, but I had salt on hand and was able to add more). Impeccable service, the wait staff were all professional and friendly, especially Francesco, who must have chased at least three tables looking for lost items. I highly recommend it.

10/05/2026: IN RESPONSE TO THE OWNER'S COMMENT: If we'd asked to change the Prosecco, would you have charged us for that too? I repeat, if a customer complains about something wrong, I'll remake it properly, charging only for what's consumed. I understand the desire to rinse one's hands with a one-euro-and-fifty-cent discount, but it still doesn't hold up, since two sips were enough for me to decide to leave the cocktail there. If I don't consume it, why should I pay for it? I understand wanting to distance oneself from someone who tries to exploit it, but the circumstances speak for themselves. REVIEW: Lack of humility and professionalism. Leaving aside the flat Prosecco, I couldn't drink a cocktail because the amount of syrup was excessive (it felt like drinking the glucose syrup they administer for blood sugar tests). Two waiters were very delicately informed of the problem, and that they could take it back. Once we got to the cashier, we explained this to the lady at the counter, who, instead of understanding the issue (since the cocktail hadn't been consumed), started giving a lecture on how this drink was made, as if I'd never had it before. Without any apology, it was added to the bill anyway, with a slight discount of €1.50. Now, as someone who works in the industry, if a customer complains about a burnt or bad pizza, I humbly apologize and proceed to make another one, made well, without charging for the one they returned. I know when a customer is taking advantage of it, and I hate to criticize, but I didn't take advantage of the situation, and at the very least, transparency and fairness are expected. Obviously, I'll never go back.

22/03/2026: We stopped at this restaurant by chance and were pleasantly surprised by the warm and friendly welcome. Lunch was excellent, with first courses rich in seafood. The fried fish we ordered was also excellent, "light." I recommend a visit... 😄😉

11/03/2026: Nice little place near the Iper area of ​​Città Sant'Angelo. The menu isn't very extensive, but everything was excellent. We opted for the €45 set menu, which included hot and cold appetizers, a first course, a second course, a sorbet, and coffee. The staff was super friendly and helpful. My only complaint, which could be improved further, is that the aromas from the kitchen barely penetrate the dining room.

25/05/2026: The ice cream is not bad but the tables and chairs are dirty, napkin holders too... my husband found the bathroom in a pitiful state, the second time we have had ice cream and apparently they don't care about hygiene😱 honestly I don't think we will return, moreover the boy who is at the cash register and handles the money then took the chips with his hands, without gloves and even ate a couple while he was preparing an aperitif for a table next to ours

26/04/2026: Be careful with your receipt, I urge everyone to double-check it because they're heavily influenced, especially if you're a foreigner. That said, regarding the food, the portions are small and there are no arrosticini, which is to be expected since it's in Villa Celiera. Better to go to the Risto Officina in Iper Coop than to make a long and bumpy trip to this location.

05/04/2026: Exceptional Easter lunch. The quality food, in my opinion, is the best of the many restaurants in the area. Kudos to Alessandra, the owner, and the staff. Kudos to everyone. If you're in the area, it's a must-stop.

It begins with the golden onion of Popoli: rediscovered, enhanced, and refined in various forms and consistencies (including a cocktail "on the rocks"). Grilling vegetables and meat, fermented ingredients, and sophisticated pairings deliver a flavorful experience that evokes familiar, welcoming flavors. The service is attentive, discreet but not overbearing. The chef's incursion, to whom we extend our compliments, was a delight! The wine list is concise, centered on Abruzzo with a few "escapes" to Champagne, Alsace, and Tuscany. A wine pairing proposal and a small expansion of the list would enrich the experience, which in itself is worth the trip. One last, necessary note: the menu has been skillfully adapted to gluten-free options (although the menu already includes numerous naturally gluten-free dishes). Thanks to all the staff!

03/08/2026: As a Brazilian, I can say the food is exceptional: authentic flavors that truly took me back home. The atmosphere is also very pleasant, with themed music making the atmosphere even more welcoming. The service is a shame. The staff was friendly, except for two girls (one with short hair and one with glasses), who were rude and inattentive. The dining room is small, yet the sushi chef had to notify them that our table was being called. Furthermore, they were complaining among themselves that they wanted to go home, even though the restaurant was still open. This unprofessional behavior ruined an otherwise excellent experience.

Furthermore, at the end of the meal, I wasn't offered or shown any selection of desserts. Overall, a disappointing experience that I personally wouldn't repeat.

27/06/2026: Best local restaurant in Pescara. There were four of us, and we ordered pasta and pizza. It was delicious and absolutely fantastic. The waiter was super friendly and even brought us four skewers of chicken to try. We'll definitely be back.

Having previously dined mostly in central, more commercial areas, we were specifically looking for a more authentic local experience—and this place exceeded all expectations. The atmosphere felt genuine and inviting, far from the typical tourist-oriented spots. Most importantly, the food was outstanding—rich in flavor, carefully prepared, and clearly reflecting traditional recipes. It was, without a doubt, significantly better than anything we had tried before during our stay. Everything, from the service to the quality of the dishes, contributed to a memorable experience. This is truly a place worth visiting if you want to enjoy authentic cuisine and a welcoming ambiance

02/08/2026: We checked the menu and could not find the dishes shown in the photos on this Google profile, so we decided not to stay. There were no staff members on the terrace, so we quietly returned to our car. A few minutes later, a staff member approached our car, shouted at us and used insulting language. This was our direct experience, and for that reason I cannot recommend this place.
