05/10/2025: We were greeted impeccably by the staff. We decided to try the Anima menu. A six-course journey, each accompanied by a wine tasting. The risotto and duck were excellent; I enjoyed other dishes a little less. Kudos to Alberto for his passion and professionalism in explaining the wine selection. His service truly made the difference.

02/11/2025: A very nice hotel on the banks of a quiet canal in the Cannaregio district. It's just one bridge away from another lively canal lined with restaurants. The staff, both at reception and in the breakfast room, are very helpful and attentive. We were even able to have breakfast before leaving early in the morning. We also took a water taxi ride (between 50 minutes and 1 hour) on the Grand Canal and smaller canals for €45 per person. Piazzale Roma (where you arrive by bus and tram) and St. Mark's Square are a 20-25 minute walk away. The Fonte Nove ferry for Murano and Burano is 15 minutes away.

21/10/2025: Nestled in the Valpolicella region, we were looking for a place to savor local products. This restaurant was recommended to us. And I must say, we were very pleased. Their dishes were truly delicious, with well-balanced and bold flavors, just like this magnificent region. We washed everything down with two glasses of good wine. It's a shame we didn't get to try their desserts; that'll be an excuse to come back.

The dough is light and easy to digest, the ingredients are all top-quality, and there are a truly unprecedented number of pizza variations. 04/11/2025: We stumbled upon it by chance and were pleasantly surprised: the atmosphere is welcoming, intimate, and meticulously crafted. The menu, simple yet refined, offers a few well-thought-out dishes. We started with an excellent mixed platter—just the right portions to keep the appetizers from over-filling us—and continued with crepes and braised beef with mashed potatoes: incredibly tender, perfectly cooked meat that literally melted in the mouth, with a balanced and flavorful sauce. Perfect service, reasonable wait times, and an absolutely fair price. If we return to the city, we'll definitely be back.
