Really nice bar inside, good cocktails and friendly service.

Possibly the best cocktails bar. Everything is simply perfect : service, ambiance, flavours, originality, and a fair pricing. I would come to Venice just for enjoying a drink at Il Mercante.

When a bartender spends more than 10 minutes explaining the pros and cons of the cocktails that best suit your tastes, it means he knows what he's talking about. You'll like it more or less, but these guys definitely know what they're doing. Warm and relaxed atmosphere in the heart of Venice. Ideal for a stop and continuing your route with renewed energy. They have a huge menu. You won't finish it 😅

Holy hell. These cocktails were so delicious, complex, and creative. The one called “silk” was especially memorable. Sit at the bar if you can. Bartender was so kind and helpful. Hospitality was incredible—made my birthday night extra special. They didn’t even make fun of a guy (not me) who accidentally left his key there and had to come back the next day to get it.

Drinks were definitely different which was nice but you can also order typical drinks too. We orders four, sat upstairs which had a nice vibe and music. We also got a bowl of nuts and zucchini water which was complimentary. We really enjoyed it.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ IL Mercante was one of the highlights of our trip to Venice! The atmosphere was fantastic, the service excellent, and the cocktails were outstanding. A special thank you to Gianmana, who made every visit memorable with excellent service and great recommendations. The absolute star of the menu was the Battery Charger cocktail without a doubt the best drink we had in Venice. It was so good that it became our daily tradition to stop by for one. If you're visiting Venice and looking for an amazing bar experience, IL Mercante is a must-visit. We can't wait to come back!

Super tasty cocktails and very friendly and staff that clearly enjoy talking about these amazing cocktails. The cocktails were interesting, each with a twist and a story, in a lively spot. Another cocktail bar that we will definitely come back to!

If you're looking for an intimate and moody ambience with alternative music, this is the perfect spot. The staff is extremely attentive, kind, and knows their craft too well. Their recommendation was amazing. I'd surely come back to Venice just for this bar 💛
