02/08/2026: Superb food, a quaint location, and impeccable service. The Florentine steak was a spectacle, perfectly cooked and incredibly flavorful. The first courses, desserts, and spectacular wine were also excellent. The hospitable staff made you feel right at home. Fantastic experience!

11/03/2026: Rich texture and flavors. Get milk, caramelized fig or the lavender one if you want something light, unique, and not too sweet. Get walnut or coffee to get the thick creamy flavor.

It has a good variety of pastries, croissants, cakes, and savory options, accompanied by well-prepared Italian coffee. The atmosphere is simple and authentic, more like a local establishment than one designed exclusively for tourists. The service is usually quick and friendly, and the prices are reasonable for being in the historic center, near the Santa Maria Novella train station. There are tables inside, but it's also convenient to order something and continue your walk. A good choice for a cappuccino with a pastry.

12/02/2026: It's located on the side exiting the Uffizi Gallery. The staff was friendly and the steak was sooooo delicious. I ordered a 1.2kg T-bone steak, which was enough for two people. It melted in my mouth the moment I put it in... It was really thick and cooked just right. I now understand why people say you have to eat T-bone in Florence. I would definitely visit again~

15/06/2026: I DO NOT write reviews, I just don’t. But after feeling incredibly disrespected I feel I need to. I wish I could write a better review because we were genuinely so excited to visit. We came to celebrate my birthday and our 10-year wedding anniversary, making this a very special experience for our family. Unfortunately, from the beginning, we felt completely overlooked. During both the tour and the wine and food tasting, the guide largely ignored us. At one point, while I was helping my daughter down the stairs, my brand-new dress was completely soaked by fermenting grape juice dripping from the walls (pictured). No one had warned us that this was happening, and when it occurred, the tour guide simply laughed. The experience only became more disappointing during the tasting. The other family in our group was engaged with, served, and guided through the experience, while we were repeatedly forgotten. We never received some of the wines or food included in the tasting because staff seemed to forget we were there altogether. Eventually, we paid and left before the experience was even finished. We also did not get the impression that children were particularly welcome, despite the experience being advertised as family-friendly. To be fair, we interacted with only a few staff members, so this may have been an issue with our particular guide rather than the winery as a whole. However, for a visit we had been looking forward to for months, celebrating two major milestones, the experience was incredibly disappointing and not one we would return for. I will add that the food that we did have was delicious. The waiters were very sweet and the vineyard itself is breathtaking. But after spending almost €200 to and from Florence to get there- (plus the cost of the tour) I would never go again.

14/06/2026: Verrazzano Castle is a simply wonderful place, combining history, landscape, and tradition. It's a truly unique experience, nestled in the heart of Chianti, offering spectacular views of the Tuscan hills. The castle is well-preserved and exudes an authentic, elegant yet welcoming atmosphere, perfectly in keeping with the history of the area. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful, ready to explain the history of the castle and its products with clarity and passion. The restaurant is perfect for those who want to savor the typical products of Tuscan cuisine, particularly from the area. Highly recommended for those visiting Greve in Chianti, a beautiful place to see, extraordinary and enchanting, that will leave you with wonderful memories and a desire to return. The guided tour of the gardens, cellars, and castle is an experience not to be missed.

04/08/2026: A bakery where you can find a wide selection of both sweet and savory products. I went during my lunch break, so I sampled some savory specialties, like the mini pizzas and eggplant parmigiana. You can sense the care and passion in their preparation, as well as the quality of the ingredients, which are always fresh. The service was friendly, professional, and welcoming. You can tell they love their work. I'd love to return to try their sweet delights too!

02/08/2026: Walking downtown very early in the morning, I found a bakery I hadn't been to in years. When I left it, it was due to logistical inconvenience and nothing else. So I said to myself, "Look who I found again!" Like an old friend, I trusted her and ordered from the sleepy lady with her blatantly repetitive orders: Two cream-filled pastries, two tomato-filled tongues, and three puff pastry pizzas slightly larger than the pizzas. I spent €15. Definitely too much for what I got. I can understand everything, from the high fuel prices to the Ukrainian crisis, to the world that is close to the apocalypse and will submerge us. Everything is understandable, but not paying for two cream-filled brioches, two tomato-filled bread tongues, and three miserable reheated pizzas that were made some day ago seems excessive to me. I realized that it's a bakery for and by tourists, preferably Americans because they're not short-handed, or rather, they don't know the true value of what they pay. Unfortunately, with this purchase, I lost an "old friend I valued"... There are other options that are more affordable and offer more realistic quality. I was very disappointed, and I'm only holding back a star because of my past as a customer many years ago. You'll be an "Old Oven," you proved it today. Goodbye.... Of course, being an honest and honest person, I'll share my experience with my friends if asked.

04/07/2026: This restaurant is absolutely perfect. The service is attentive and the servers are knowledgeable about their products. Take their wine recommendation; you won't be disappointed. The pappardelle with ragù is incredible. The chef came to greet us at the end of the evening; everything he makes is delicious, from the fish of the day to the meat and pasta. A wonderful experience!

04/07/2026: This was one of our favorite meals from our 2 week trip to Italy. First of all the staff was so passionate about the food and service. They were incredible kind and accommodating. Then the food was amazing. Everyone's dish was incredible but we especially loved the pappardella pasta and Joselito Iberian secreto. 10/10, this is a must in Florence

20/04/2026: One of the best ice cream shops in Florence, personally speaking, the best. Every time I pass through Florence I love to pop in. The line can be intimidating, but it moves very quickly. The Carraia flavors are a must-try!

28/02/2026: A croissant for €1.30, a mille-feuille for €2, and a small chocolate cake for €1 = frankly, that's a very reasonable price for the quality you get elsewhere. Quite a few people there in the morning, having a coffee or buying something. I'm not disappointed.

20/02/2026: A charming café away from the hustle and bustle. Delicious cakes and pastries, excellent coffee. Fair prices. Definitely worth a visit!
