06/12/2025: I think the high reviews for this bakery are fueled by foreigners who, having never seen a quality bakery in their own country, are impressed by the selection and variety. The reality, in my experience, is that while it's a good bakery, it's nothing exceptional. The whole-wheat schiacciata is very bland, the cecina is so-so, and the mini-pizzas need some updating. Overall, it works great, and I'm happy with it, especially considering its location, but it's not a place I'd return to.

16/11/2025: We went for dinner tonight without a reservation, but luckily we found a table. What can I say? A fantastic experience. Beautiful, well-decorated place. Excellent food. I recommend the spicy tomato and cheese focaccia, butter focaccia, spinach meatballs, chickpea onion rings, spiced yellow lentils, yogurt-marinated chicken with mint, spicy chicken, orange pastries, and basmati rice with almond milk, coconut, and dried fruit. The staff is friendly and attentive to customer needs. The bathrooms are clean. We'll definitely be back. I recommend it.

01/12/2025: Found by chance because it's close to our accommodation, it was a wonderful discovery! Excellent schiacciata, filled in large quantities with freshly sliced products, including mozzarella and tomatoes. Excellent quality, good service, very fair prices. Recommended!
26/11/2025: It's a shame, it's lost its appeal as a great bakery for Florentines. Now, like so many other historic businesses, it's just a tourist magnet.

Koreans, you don't need any other flavors here. Just get the pistachio.

16/12/2025: Lunch was à la carte. We ate well, and the service was quick and very friendly. The location deserves top marks, surrounded by greenery and with a breathtaking view! I especially thank the red-haired girl for her kindness and professionalism in serving you! I give it four stars with reservations, and I hope to return to give it a fifth.
13/12/2025: Incredible experience and so value! The tour was lovely. We got to see the property, different views, and cellars. The food and wine were excellent. The lunch was 5 courses with tons of pairings and was so delicious and top quality. The castello grows and makes their own herbs, honey, olive oil, and balsamic. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable about the wines and the family history. I highly recommend the full meal + tour
