26/08/2024: Quite simply the best ice cream I have eaten in Italy. If you like yogurt ice cream, go for it.

26/08/2024: Best gelato place in Florence. Great selection with pistachio makes my favourite. A tip for anyone to know a pro gelato place, gelato containers must be covered NOT displayed, they look more in covered jars vs displayed like normal ice cream. This will tell you the real difference between a legit gelato place from a mediocre.

23/08/2024: Simply incredible! If I could script the quintessential Tuscan experience, a visit to I’Desio is it. From wandering through the narrow cobblestone streets of the idyllic village of Montefioralle, to being greeted by the owner and welcomed into his home, the incredible views, a meal - no menu - with courses crafted around the best of local produce, locally produced wines and exceptional service. This felt as authentic and special an experience as I could have hoped for. Bellissimo!

29/08/2024: I agree with another reviewer that this place is overrated. The food was edible - not awful, not spectacular. It was hard to get the waiter's attention when we needed him. The prices were high and so was the cover charge. We were in a hurry in between two activities so we just needed somewhere to eat, but if we had more time, we definitely would have looked for something else. That being said, my son loved the steak; the other dishes were just okay.

23/08/2024: The pizzas are brutal, the waiters are very nice and the place is very cozy. I was debating whether to eat dessert or not, and I made the fantastic decision to eat a cheesecake that was very, very good.

23/07/2024: We visited this Gelateria several times during our stay in Florence and every time it was delicious! There’s a great range of flavours, from the classics like pistachio and hazelnut to more unusual choices like black sesame or honey & lavender, so there really is something for everyone. Service was always excellent and it was reasonably priced, I’d really recommend visiting whilst you’re in Florence! 🍦

15/08/2024: Small place with average food. We ordered a traditional sausage hotdog and a cheeseburger, plus large fries. The hotdog in my opinion was delicate but others did not really like it. The cheeseburger was okay, nothing special, the fries though was really bad, extremely greasy. We paid 27 eur altogether for these. The condiments are complementary and some of them are homemade. The place itself is really really really hot. It was at least 5 degrees more inside, while it was 37 degrees outside. Also our clothes were really smelly afterwards from the oil smell.

14/08/2024: Awesome Burger, and considering the motto "we are lazy" a perfect match. Bun, patty and homemade sauce have been a perfect match. But the homemade french fries 🍟 were the best I can remember. Of cause they have a secret and off cause, they did not reveal it. Anyway, five from five from good old Germany

24/07/2024: OH MAMA! I think it's my favorite place for professionalism, good food and value for money. Nothing better around! Competent, fast and always smiling staff. Food that truly deserves its simplicity and extreme goodness. The highlight for me..... THE CAKE!.
