11/01/2026: After a pleasant hike to Monte Intraleo, we stumbled upon this restaurant almost by chance, trusting the positive reviews. The experience was truly excellent. We were a group of four friends at lunch on Saturday. Gaetano, the host, welcomed us warmly and gradually became more and more welcoming. The restaurant is charming and original, with every corner adorned with various elements that hark back to Sicilian tradition and evoke a vintage feel, creating a welcoming atmosphere that immediately puts everyone in a good mood. The chandelier dominating the room is spectacular, crafted from a wagon wheel and fitted with industrial-style lamps. Gaetano's pride and passion for his work shine through in his communication with customers and in the authentic flavors of his dishes. The menu is simple, without frills. He recommended and brought us an assorted antipasti platter with samples of fine cheeses, ricotta, cooked vegetables, and olives. Next, we ordered pennette with tomato sauce enriched with broad beans, peas, eggplant, and mushrooms. The dish proved to be perfectly balanced in flavor, exceptional because the quality of the ingredients transformed a simple dish into true comfort food. A triumph of garden flavors. Gaetano is certainly the restaurant's added value. At the end of the meal, he offered us traditional sweets, and we enjoyed a pleasant conversation over liqueurs and coffee. 10/01/2026: A chance discovery that left us more than satisfied. The owner, Gaetano, is a fantastic person: welcoming, kind, funny, and above all, an excellent cook. We ate and drank wonderfully, and the place was tastefully decorated and well-maintained. For me, beautiful places always reflect the soul of those who run them, and I must say that the beauty of this place depends very much on the person behind it. Well done, Gaetano, and thank you for welcoming us at the last minute.

30/11/2025: We had the pleasure of dining at Sireno Mozia, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. The setting is simply exceptional: located just steps from the salt flats, the restaurant offers a unique, serene, and almost magical atmosphere, especially at sunset. The dishes are prepared with great finesse: fresh ingredients, perfectly balanced flavors, and elegant presentation. Every bite was a true delight. The service is also impeccable: attentive, friendly, and always ready to offer advice. You can feel a genuine passion for both the cuisine and the hospitality. A true gem in the heart of the salt flats!

Both the pizzas, featuring ancient grains and innovative flavors, and the restaurant are commendable. Highly recommended.

01/03/2026: Four friends and I went there on February 10th. To start, and this is a nice touch, we were welcomed with a complimentary glass of Prosecco :) The meal was excellent, especially the homemade desserts—a real treat! Even though we only ordered one main course and one dessert, the owner, who is incredibly friendly, offered us a delicious homemade Limoncello. We highly recommend this restaurant.

05/01/2026: No clue why this place gets reviews this high, it must be influencers or something. Out of all the pizzas we had in Palermo this was probably some of the worst. Everything was dry: the dough, barely any sauce, and no taste, overall not a pleasant experience. You could probably find a better pizza walking into a random place anywhere in Palermo.

10/11/2025: We had a wonderful time on a warm November Sunday, sitting on the veranda... we were immediately greeted with a truly refined appetizer and entrée, both balanced and delicious. We enjoyed an excellent prosecco recommended by the very attentive and friendly staff, and then continued with superior pasta and main courses. Definitely an experience we'll happily repeat!

18/10/2025: I recently visited Lipari with a group of friends from Verona through Le Isole d'Italia tour operator, and all our dinners were organized at Ristorante Il Corallo. The owner, Laura, along with her husband, the chef, and their staff delighted our palates by preparing seafood and other dishes from the menu. They also fulfilled all our wishes, preparing special dishes (such as arancini—delicious). Everything was excellent and plentiful. Thank you.

18/01/2026: We went for pizza on December 27, 2025. I must mention that they accepted my Labrador, which isn't something everyone can do. Wonderful and well-organized location, fast, attentive, and very professional service. The pizza? EXCELLENT, great dough, top-quality ingredients. Thank you, you delighted me. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

09/03/2026: The pizza is very good (although it has too much crust for my taste), but that doesn't justify the extremely high prices. As for pizzas, prices are high everywhere these days, but a 33cl Coke costs €3.50 and a cover charge of €3 seems above average to me.

13/11/2025: We have followed the recommandation of the guide book once again and it was very nice. We had these delicious typical flat sandwiches. Staff is very friendly. A very good place to go for lunch!
