Dalla prima all'ultima portata, è stata un'esperienza culinaria che ha superato ogni aspettativa. L'atmosfera era semplicemente perfetta.

21/10/2025: I'm honestly not sure why the Google Map ratings are so high for this place, or why it was recommended by our lodging host. It was one of my least favorite restaurants on our visit to Italy, the food was average - at best. They made a big deal about their squid ink bread sticks, but I found that mine were moldy, yuk. My entree of mackerel was just OK, rather small and not exceptional, the sauces had no particular flavor. My husband liked the sea bream he ordered. The clientele is all visitors, no residents. I'm sure there are better options in Agrigento.

12/10/2025: Great place for a quick bite. The ingredients are fresh and of good quality. The staff was very friendly and helpful despite the fact that the place was about to close. If you fancy a good street food, this is definitely a place to go!

23/09/2025: Delicious. Delicious food, fair prices. I'd eat there every day. There are still honest places where you pay €1.50 for a beer and €2 for a good arancini. These are the places that deserve to survive.

17/09/2025: Fantastic atmosphere, the ambiance of the place, its decor, communicative, polite, smiling and helpful team, tasting the dishes served was pure pleasure, really worth it!

16/09/2025: Walk up the street from Archimedes Square... look around, turn your head to the left and luck will smile on you! At the end of a pretty little courtyard, a Chiodo waits patiently for you. The welcome is warm, the service very professional, the dishes very well cooked with good local products. Thank you again for this great lunch (I forgot the stylish decor and the interesting choice of wines).

08/10/2025: An awesome dinner on our last night in Sicily - so pleased we made the trip from Cefalu. Our favourite meal experience of the holiday. Knock out food, exceptional service, incredibly knowledgeable, fun, kind team who went out of their way for us. Massively recommend all the food - ragu pasta, caponata, slow cooked pork, tomato and mushroom salads, and the coffee! On leaving we realised we had a flat tyre (11pm)….within five mins the owner, one of the waiters and a local customer were changing our tyre and had us en route home! Couldn’t recommend enough! Full of diners on a Tuesday evening, who seemed local/regulars. Bustling the whole evening. We’d love to visit again to stay and try lunch. Must visit!

04/10/2025: Comfortable and pleasant atmosphere. Truly interesting dishes: special fish tortelli and truly exceptional tuna back with pistachios!!! Absolutely recommended!!

05/10/2025: Probably the most beautiful and appealing bakery I've ever seen. Away from the bustling city center of Taormina, this wonderful bakery is located in a lovely side street, right across from our accommodation. We picked up something sweet there every day, although the choice was difficult given the sheer number of delicacies. This bakery truly lives up to the motto "What you eat is what you see," and the staff are very friendly. Whether it's ice cream, croissants, cakes, or tiramisu (also available to go), everyone will find something they like here. The interior is also reminiscent of a fairytale 🤍 If we come back to Taormina, we'll definitely be back at Pasticceria D'Amore ❤️

06/10/2025: Excellent and delicious traditional dishes with a vegan twist! A must-try if you're vegan and visiting Catania. I had an arancini with soy ragù, a spring onion, and a cartocciata with potatoes, olives, and vegan mozzarella: flavorful and just like the original. Finally, I tried the vanilla cannoli and a canestrello, which pleasantly surprised me; if I hadn't been so full, I would have eaten more.
