The staff was extremely knowledgeable and friendly, always attentive to the guests' every need. Giulio and Rosi (the manager) were truly wonderful people. What can I say about the location... wonderful, with attention to every detail inside and out.

04/01/2026: I'm sorry, but this place is definitely one to avoid. Interminable waits for a sandwich that arrived after more than half an hour, cold and inedible. The waiters are inattentive to the customer's needs and forget about you even if you ask for something two seconds before. I noticed I wasn't the only table in the dining room with complaints. The only pro of this place is its very central location, but as far as the food and service go, it's best to skip it and look elsewhere.

The atmosphere is welcoming and warm. The pizza dough is excellent, really light, but you have to be careful when cooking it, as the top edges can easily come out a bit too burnt! The bacon fries with melted cheese are delicious. The wait staff lacks a bit of professionalism.

12/01/2026: We were staying in Tusa November 2025, and the food & hospitality here made an otherwise cold & rainy night at the end of our trip into a warm, memorable & outstanding way to leave this hilltop town! We were starving and as we walked by we saw LOTS of people going into what looked like a tiny storefront & coming out with pizza boxes, so thought we'd give it a try for pizza. Once we were inside we saw it's larger than we thought & were quickly greeted & seated at a charming table tucked in the back with exposed stone walls, wood beams and decor. With the owner's suggestion, we opted for a "traditional Sicilian meal" and every single plate that came our way was somehow both simple and utterly delicious. Being americani & because the food was SO good, we did our best to clean every plate, lol. We had decided we were stuffed & done when asked if we wanted to try their lamb-- umm, yes! Ohhh what a way to go, man, it was one of our best meals ever. Our only regret is we didn't find it until the end of our visit so only ate there once! Can't wait until we're back in Tusa so we can eat at Le Giare again.
