14/10/2025: The special breakfasts are truly special. Wide selection; everything you buy is high-quality. The special croissant with Chantilly cream is truly sublime. The granitas are also creamier than average, with soft, tasty brioches. The prices are above average, but reasonable for the quality. The only disappointing thing is the service; every time you ask what the breakfast items are filled with, it never once matches the truth. A piece of advice: it would be very helpful to put up a prominent sign listing each breakfast item, especially the "specials," and how it's filled. This would allow customers to choose their own, even before their turn. This would also speed up the service and save the counter staff time.

10/10/2025: After a rather cold welcome, we had an aperitif on the terrace and stayed to eat, looking at the plates on the tables. And we did well, it was very good.

Despite everything, on the bill I was charged for a full-price dish (elaborate dish of trio of bruschetta with Trapani pesto, anchovies, burrata, all things that were not on our bruschetta) which then was not bruschetta but a focaccia! I won't go into the details of the conversation, working in the restaurant business some things seem absurd to me! Worst place in San Vito and we've been to a lot of places!!!!

I'm sorry, but we won't be going there again. They used to cook well and the prices were even lower (I looked at the menu and they have the same prices as Ortigia).

The food was the best of everything we had throughout our entire trip- HUGE portions at amazing prices and not a single bad dish to be had. Definitely stop by here if you have the chance!

14/09/2025: The chef was very nice, offering the menu in Italian and English. The pasta is freshly prepared on-site, by hand. We had caponata as a starter, typically Sicilian, fresh, and incredibly delicious. For main course, we had scialatielli with swordfish and macaroni with eggplant. Both dishes were perfectly cooked al dente and tasted amazing. I had a red craft beer from Sicily to drink, and I highly recommend it. The price at Past'Ovo is more than fair, considering the location and the freshness of the food and ingredients. In other cities, you would have paid at least one and a half times more just for the view of the cathedral.

The balcony overlooks the sea, and guests receive free sun loungers and umbrellas at a nearby beach and a discount at restaurants. The room has air conditioning and a refrigerator, but no electric kettle. Another drawback is the hard beds. It's worth paying attention to the electrical outlets. Not all are European-standard, so an adapter may be needed. The staff is friendly and helpful, and English is spoken.

23/08/2025: Beautiful hotel with an adjoining beach club. The rooms are comfortable and recently renovated. Just a few steps and you're on the beach. The restaurant is excellent, serving pizza and fish, using quality ingredients. The staff is young and friendly, attentive to the customer's needs. The beach club has fun entertainment that is always discreet and unobtrusive. Behind this excellent result is professional and passionate management!
