We discovered this place by chance on our way down from Mount Etna. We had marked this place on our list, and after a few weeks we finally managed to come here for lunch. It was a delightful discovery; the restaurant has several different areas and the atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and rustic. The quality of the ingredients was excellent; we had a very generous Sicilian appetizer and two first courses. The staff were very friendly, and the prices were average considering the quality of the ingredients. We'll definitely be back!

I already wrote a positive review years ago, and I agree with the quality of the food. However, I must say that they've also adjusted to the price increases of other establishments, and now €38 for a full menu is a bit high, especially considering that the portion sizes have decreased compared to before, especially for the appetizers. They could have done it for €30.

I often go to this restaurant, even though I live over 80 km away. I've always found the food excellent; the meat and grilled dishes are a real treat. However, I'm sorry to report that on Easter Sunday I went for lunch with my family, six of us in total. It was a fixed lunch. I must confess that the appetizers were disappointing at best; I'd dare say they were very poor. I'd never actually found them like this before. The two-course pasta dish and the mixed grill were truly good. €38 per person is a good price, but the appetizers were as if they weren't even there.

20/04/2026: People are so nice,adaptable, great advises! Pizzas where realy tasty, balanced and as a travel through Italy. We highly recommended this place, and also, the place is realy confortable and good looking,oviously a part of history. We didn't had the possibility to compare with another pizza maker here, but for sure, you will be pleased by this travelling experiences!!! If you like it ,you can taste the carusu red wine, special wine from Etna area, loved it!!! 🤩

03/05/2026: A truly chic place. We're from Caltanissetta and arrived at this restaurant thanks to the kindness of a local who pointed us to the place, saying that the inside was amazing, and it's true: good food, extraordinary quantities, a beautiful setting, and truly professional service. We recommend it 100%, but I won't post photos because we ate everything 😋
29/04/2026: The atmosphere is truly lovely, especially since it's in Acicastello, on a little street I really like. We started with an excellent welcome prosecco and some rustic mixed antipasti, followed by excellent meat rolls and, for dessert, exceptionally flavorful Turkish salami. The prices are fair. I'll be back because I'm curious to try the pizza. I came back specifically to try the pizza, which received top marks for both its cooking, the ingredients used, and the quantity of toppings. On my second visit, I had an excellent burger, further convincing me of the quality of the cuisine. However, I honestly think the restaurant's prices are a bit too high.
