30/05/2025: Small pleasant welcome appetizer, excellent fish dishes revisited with taste and without overdoing it. Scary wine list for the excessive costs, the chosen wine is not there and the one proposed to us, of the same price and is fine, has however a bit of lees, perhaps because it is not well preserved, but it should not happen in a restaurant of this level. In the end the bill is 150 euros for four people eating only one course each, three first courses and a second course. Perhaps a bit too expensive...

18/05/2025: Easy to find, we were five people plus a four-legged friend who was welcomed lovingly, original and delicious dishes, excellent bread and breadsticks made by them, I recommend it to everyone

The variety and deliciousness of the desserts, pastries, and gelato are truly remarkable, a true pleasure for the palate. I also had the pleasure of trying the deli, finding it to live up to my highest expectations. Furthermore, the restaurant area offers an equally positive culinary experience, with carefully prepared dishes that I thoroughly enjoyed. This café is undoubtedly a place to highly recommend to anyone seeking a complete, high-quality gastronomic experience, whether for a sweet treat or a delicious meal. Excellent value. A true gem!

14/06/2025: We had the best experience here during our time in Palermo. It’s a spot that is frequented by all of the locals, and everyone is like family. The food was the best of everything we had throughout our entire trip- HUGE portions at amazing prices and not a single bad dish to be had. Definitely stop by here if you have the chance!

29/07/2025: A true recommendation – authentic, heartfelt, and delicious! My boyfriend and I had lasagna, pasta carbonara, and pizza – and I have to say: Opinions are divided here. You can choose between the hustle and bustle up in Taormina, where the narrow streets are packed with people, or here – a bit quieter, with cars nearby, but with much more space, a pleasant atmosphere, and a view of the lively hustle and bustle after a visit to Isola Bella. The restaurant is family-run, with warm service, attentive staff, and a genuine passion for cooking. All three dishes were perfectly seasoned: magnificently seasoned, harmonious in flavors, with no added seasoning – simply delicious! The value for money is also particularly noteworthy: you really get a lot for the quality of the food, the portion size, and the service. If you're looking for an authentic culinary experience away from the tourist crowds, this is the place for you. We'll definitely be back! Pizza, 2x pasta, 4 beers 44€

28/06/2025: The Negroni Sbagliato and Aperol Spritz were very well mixed. The Negroni, in particular, was beautifully balanced and refreshing. The ambiance outside is really nice, a relaxed atmosphere right in the old town. Perfect for an aperitivo.

27/06/2025: A small café with the best coffee in town! The cappuccino is made at the perfect temperature, and they offer different kinds of milk. Cozy, charming, and full of heart — a lovely little spot!

25/07/2025: We celebrated my son's graduation and everything was perfect. The owners welcomed us with great kindness and hospitality. The service from all the staff was excellent, as was the preparation of the dishes, elegantly presented at the table. Kudos to those who work with such passion and professionalism.

29/06/2025: To sit down we waited exactly 45 minutes with the reservation in the late evening, chips arrived half an hour after we ordered them, pizzas arrived exactly at 11:50 pm. Oily chips but good, very good pizzas, service, terrible service for how long we had to wait even though we had a reservation, oven quite small not able to deliver the pizza for the ground floor and the first floor to make the customer wait as little as possible for the pizzas.

09/08/2025: Quaranta is a reliable place for desserts and hot food, but over the years the service has become increasingly distracted and at times rude. It's a shame.

23/06/2025: We went to Bar Dalli almost every morning during our vacation and I have to say that the granita and brioche were really excellent, among the best I tasted in the area! The arancini were also a very pleasant surprise: really delicious, hot, crunchy and tasty. The only sour note was the welcome: a little more smile wouldn't hurt, especially towards those who come from outside. Smiling is free, even to "foreigners" You are lucky to have quality products and to be located in the main street of Fiumefreddo: just a little more warmth would be enough to make the experience truly perfect.
