Vera Coffice Break In Palermo

Ugh. While we were having breakfast, they had the cakes they sell delivered in cardboard boxes, not from a pastry shop. Nothing bad (we had pancakes, muesli, coffee, orange juice), nothing special either

smoothie and food is AWESOME!😍 got the salmon avocado toast with cream cheese and the playa smoothie — 10/10 would recommend 🫶🏼

Service was good, though the menus we got were disintegrating and dirty. We had a cappuccino and matcha which were ok, but really nothing special. Same goes for the cake, just very sweet Tiramisu and chocolate cake you end wishing you didn't order.

In Palermo I would drink my flat white somewhere else. I had a flat white and a tuna toast. The Flat White had milk foam that was far too thick and if you were imaginative you could see a heart. In terms of taste, it was the worst coffee I had during my 3 days in Palermo. The toast consisted of a few crumbs of tuna with cream cheese and tomatoes.

Great cafe for remote workers! This is the only laptop-friendly cafe that I managed to find in Palermo. Excellent sandwiches, delicious coffee, very friendly staff (and they speak English), comfortable tables, fast internet and a wonderful atmosphere. I was in Palermo for one month and I was here almost every day. I highly recommend it for those who like to work with a laptop outside with a cup of coffee.

Quite an average place that left me slightly disappointed. I took almango salad with tuna and it was very plain and dry. That was an absolute zero of sauce, just plain canned tuna with brownish harsh pieces of mango, some salad leaves, and seeds. Almonds were not cut or at least soaked, so chewing it wasn't any of a nice experience. On the other side filter coffee and milkshake both were quite good. Staff were friendly, but somehow not very engaged which made a weird impression that we were not super welcome there. It was also hard as they barely spoke any English. The space inside a cafe is quite dark and not super pleasant. We were a bit uncomfortable there.
