07/07/2025: Sunday morning coffee stop during bike ride. Terrible coffee, dirty location, outdoor seating not suitable for hospitality, nails were sticking out of the pieces of wood that if you weren't careful you risked hurting yourself. The outdoor cushions in bad condition, signs of the evening just passed, still full ashtrays on the bin, the waitress leaves us the tray with 6 cups of coffee ordered, decidedly dirty tray probably used from the previous evening. Conclusion: failed.

08/07/2025: Unfortunately, our experience was truly negative. We arrived with high expectations, but as soon as we entered, we had the impression of being in a neglected, almost dilapidated establishment. The welcome was cold, and we felt as if we were entering someone's home, rather than a place open to the public. The atmosphere was anything but welcoming. The biggest problem, however, was hygiene: during the meal, we found ourselves with about fifteen flies on the bread and just as many flying around the plates. A frankly unacceptable situation. We stayed only out of politeness, to avoid the embarrassment of leaving immediately, but by the end of the evening, we were worried about the possible health consequences. It's unfortunate to say this, because the owner was kind and acknowledged that the fly problem exists, but that's not enough. Hygiene management should be a top priority, no matter what. Serving food in these conditions is simply unacceptable. As for the food, unfortunately, nothing that could improve my opinion: simple dishes, poorly prepared, and of a quality that would be an understatement to call mediocre. Honestly, I cooked better when I was fifteen. It's a shame, but it's an experience we won't repeat.

08/07/2025: Purtroppo la nostra esperienza è stata davvero negativa. Siamo arrivati con buone aspettative, ma già all’ingresso abbiamo avuto l’impressione di trovarci in una struttura trascurata, quasi fatiscente. L’accoglienza è stata fredda e ci siamo sentiti come se stessimo entrando in casa di qualcuno, piuttosto che in un locale aperto al pubblico. L’atmosfera era tutt’altro che ospitale. Il problema maggiore, però, è stato igienico: durante il pasto ci siamo trovati con una quindicina di mosche sul pane e altrettante che volavano intorno ai piatti. Una situazione francamente inaccettabile. Siamo rimasti soltanto per educazione, per non crearci l’imbarazzo di andarcene subito, ma a fine serata eravamo preoccupati per le possibili conseguenze sanitarie. Dispiace dirlo, perché la proprietaria si è mostrata gentile e ha riconosciuto che il problema delle mosche c’è, ma non basta. La gestione dell’igiene dovrebbe essere una priorità assoluta, a prescindere da tutto. Non si può pensare di servire cibo in queste condizioni. Quanto alla cucina, purtroppo nulla che possa risollevare il giudizio: piatti semplici, poco curati, e con una qualità che definire mediocre sarebbe generoso. Sinceramente, cucinavo meglio io a quindici anni. Peccato, ma è un’esperienza che non ripeteremo.

21/02/2025: Slightly tucked away on the Champoluc slopes, this restaurant boasts a breathtaking view and, above all, excellent food. Good food, excellent wines, and a lovely atmosphere, along with friendly, professional service. Not to be missed!

02/07/2025: Clean and welcoming place. Super friendly staff. We ordered 3 very digestible pizzas with quality ingredients. From cooked ham, fontina and dough. There is a terrace with games for the little ones...clean, tidy and working. But the best icing on the cake, for me who am old-fashioned in age, was the presence of a beautiful and working 80s pinball machine 💕💕💕💕. I would never have left. I will definitely go back. It is nice to see companies that work and want to do.

16/03/2025: Honestly, what a disappointment! The food was truly mediocre, even disgusting. The dishes had no flavor, it was poorly prepared and poorly presented. It seemed like they had forgotten to respect the basics of cooking. I absolutely do not recommend this place.

15/03/2025: Immonde rien n’est bon, que ce soit les spécialités ou même un burger ils ne savent pas faire. Heureusement qu’il y’avait les gressins industriels… À fuir !!!

26/08/2025: La Vierdza is a special place: the food is excellent, carefully prepared and with authentic flavors. The atmosphere is relaxing, ideal for rejuvenating mind and body. The people who run it are fantastic, welcoming, and genuine, making the experience even more enjoyable. A place to experience and recommend!

16/03/2025: Bel locale in centro,facente parte di una catena di ristoranti,personale tutto giovane e amichevole,mangiato buon piatto di tagliatelle al blu di Aosta che è un formaggio,unico appunto il piatto era freddo,consiglierei di tenerli in caldo i piatti,.

18/02/2025: This restaurant has potential but is missing a trick! The food is exceptional but the service is lacking! The waitress was more interested in talking to the chef than serving the food! The style of the menus (cheap laminated poorly designed) do not match the prices being charged or the quality of the food - an easy fix. The main dishes are served with potatoes and vegetables - this is not made clear. I ready a comment about the 'smell' in the restaurant. There is a distinct smell but don't forget that there is a thermal spa locally and river in the village often smells of sulphur. The restaurant is spotless and well presented. The smell isn't strong - but it is present in the fabric of the building. I wouldn't let this put you off eating here. Overall: has real potential but let down by poor service.

19/06/2025: Very nice and unique little place, located in the historic center of Aosta where you can taste typical local products and wines of the area. They prepare excellent aperitifs. Highly recommended +++++

17/06/2025: Saint-Vout in Aosta is a super authentic place for a typical Aosta Valley dinner, with just the right vibe in front of the Arch of Augustus. Dishes like fondue, raclette and carne salada are top and they have a super wide selection of wines. The atmosphere is welcoming, the service is attentive and the quality is evident. The bill is a bit steep, but if you want to treat yourself to a special evening and want to taste the true flavors of the Valley, it's still worth it!

15/08/2025: My boyfriend and I went there for lunch today, attracted by the positive reviews. Since it was August 15th, we made a reservation, but when we made the reservation, we weren't told that there were tables for about 12 people and that we would therefore have to share a table with other people. The problem was that while we were eating, the four people next to us started smoking (we hate smoking, especially while eating). It should be a courtesy of the restaurant to prohibit this (instead, they brought an ashtray to their table). I read the menu several times to decide what to eat based on the ingredients (since I'm lactose intolerant). I ordered a first course, and as soon as I put the first piece in my mouth, I realized it contained cheese. I mentioned it, and instead of changing my course, they apologized but didn't make up for it. At this point, my boyfriend gave me his polenta with sausage (which I don't recommend at all. The sausage was subpar for my taste), so let's say I ate almost nothing. But the best part was when we went to the cashier to pay and they had added the first course to the bill that I hadn't eaten. We pointed this out to them and they took it off us, otherwise I would have had to pay for something that was their mistake. I'm sorry, I almost never write negative reviews, but I strongly advise against it.

07/08/2025: Terrible welcome, refusal of access to the terrace, which was far from full at 2:30 p.m., after lunch service, for coffee, drinks and ice cream.

08/08/2025: Hotel: Rooms too noisy due to a club across the street that hosts late-night karaoke nights, 15 meters away (we had to wait until the evening was over to sleep). Breakfast consisted of dry cakes, coffee capsules, and limited savory options. Restaurant: We booked the restaurant because the location is nice; we had high expectations, but that wasn't the case. The basics of catering are lacking (no comment).

06/08/2025: Mediocre hotel. Cleanliness needs updating, spiders in the corners near the bed. Let's talk about the restaurant. There are four of us (two couples) and we ordered two Florentine steaks, some vegetables to accompany the meat, and a bottle of wine. We waited for the meat to be cooked, and only one was served. When we asked where the other Florentine steak was, we were told we couldn't eat 2800 kg of meat. When we asked for salt, we were told it was bad for us. The vegetables were very few and tasteless! Absurd! We were all shocked! At this point, don't order, since the decisions about what to eat and how much to eat are yours to make! Absolutely avoid this place. Real dining is really far away.
