16/12/2025: This village bar offers a good selection of wines as well as typical bar fare. Sandwiches and crepes are also available.

04/09/2025: Fifteen of us arrived at the half-empty restaurant, and they had a hard time getting us to sit down. We then ordered fifteen drinks, none of which came with a glass of ice and lemon, and some weren't even cans, but rather drafts without warning. After that, they didn't bring anything to eat. After we asked for some appetizers, they brought us a small bowl of chips and a bowl of peanuts, not enough for everyone. Then came the worst part: the price, which was outrageous for the service. I won't be back!

20/09/2025: Was fairly happy here after a long day hiking but a few things to take note of - the comfort room is nice for a couple but it is a single bed with a single mattress so if you are two older guys this does not really work. Food is good and plentiful but dinner at 8 pm seems a bit later and no WiFi until 8:30 or so is not a great selling point. That said, room was clean, showers are hot and meals were OK so not too much to complain about. Not the best Refugio but very far from the worst.

07/10/2025: The food is fantastic, and everything is a surprise! Homemade and fresh, without too much of a wait. The hostess is friendly and welcoming, and makes you feel right at home.

19/02/2026: I stayed here on January 17, 2026, and had a horrible incident. First, when I approached the entrance to check in, I noticed some fires were lit, so I stopped to warm up. After a few seconds, I was verbally attacked—and physically attacked if I hadn't moved away—by a staff member because apparently "outsiders aren't allowed near us." When I showed them my reservation, their attitude changed drastically, but the incident nevertheless highlights the unacceptable rudeness of the staff. The room was in terrible condition, full of dust, and the sheets were dirty. For the exorbitant price, I would have expected to be treated with more respect and to have a room that didn't remind me of a hospice. But apparently, I expect too much. I strongly advise against even considering staying here.

05/01/2026: Super friendly and welcoming. Excellent food made with farm produce. Simple, authentic, and reasonably priced. Away from the hustle and bustle of skiing.

01/01/2026: Lack of flexibility and poor attention to vegetarians: A very disappointing experience. I simply asked for a sandwich without the ham, but they said no because they were "too busy." The result? As a vegetarian, the only option available was fries. It seems absurd to me that in 2026, you can't do something as simple as removing a slice of ham from a sandwich to accommodate a customer. The organization doesn't justify this lack of courtesy.

07/02/2026: I called at 6:30 PM for two pizzas and was told I could choose the time, so I kindly requested the pizzas arrive at 7:00 PM. I called at 7:15 PM and the guy still had to leave! I called twice, it's 7:40 PM and a car pulls up outside my house, reverses, and drives away!!!!!! I call back and they don't answer!!!!! THIS IS MADNESS!!!!!

31/01/2026: Shame!!!! I placed an order at 8:30 PM and at 9:25 PM it was canceled for no reason, via text message. Absolutely avoid. Terrible. If there was a chance, I would have given zero stars.

13/09/2025: Highly not recommended! A plate of pasta all'arrabbiata, which had nothing spicy about it, just a little bit of sauce thrown on top and tasteless! A pizza with cooked ham and chips, terrible sauce, tasteless, flavorless, etc.

We received excellent service from the barista, with a big smile and a cheerful start to the day. After two days she already remembered what we drink and eat in the morning. Thank you
