What an improvement outside compared to some years ago! There is now a serviced restaurant outside, looking very nice. We first came on the skis from Switzerland and as always had our coffee in the deckchairs. Then we decided to ski another round and make a reservation in the restaurant later on. It was very busy with Italians coming all the way from Cervinia without skis so we guessed it must be very good. And it was! The most amazing beef ribs and duck breast, combined with special sauces and delicious bread. As we wanted to ski more we didnt drink any wine but the wine card looked very well. The service was also very friendly apart from the girl with the very short hair, we havent seen her smile even one time and when she brought us a bill and we tipped, she didnt even say Grazie. Very unusual in Italy, looked like she had a rather bad day. The other girls were very friendly and came couple of times to ask if everything was well. I cannot understand that people complain that the food is expensive, this is not a city where you can bring everything by a truck to the restaurant! All the stuff has to be transported and reloaded several time before it arrives at the destination. Compared to the Swiss side the prices are very reasonable! We will surely come again 👍🏻

UPDATE FEBRUARY 2026 Still excellent cuisine! There is now also a table service area on the outdoor terrace. Large sun terrace with lounge chairs for relaxing and enjoying the impressive view. MARCH 2024 A small self-service restaurant below the cable car. Very friendly service, excellent lasagna (small portion), cappuccino, and latte macchiato. The price/performance ratio, which has been criticized elsewhere, is good considering the location – you would pay twice as much just 2 km north. It's best to avoid it during peak hours due to limited capacity.

Superb sunny location, friendly service, very good burger but be aware it's served without fries, which cost €8, a bit much for fries!

Authentic Italian bar restaurant with fantastic polenta.

We had the most amazing private dinner as part of our engagement. We were picked up by a snowmobile which was incredibly fun, arrived to a full wheel of Parmesan , warm bread and Prosecco, before moving on to a full 3 course meal. The food was incredible and the wine selection is great! They catered for diet requirements as I’m veggie but fiancé isn’t. They kindly opened up on an evening especially for us and offered a private dinning experience. We had a great time and it felt very special. I recommend for any private dinning / special occasions but also for a lunch stop during a day on the slopes( as we did try this as well). Thank you guys ! We will definitely return 💜

An amazing experience with the altitude dining. We contacted the restaurant to celebrate a special day and they were truly incredible. The altitude dinner experience was truly special. From the ride up to the restaurant on a snowmobile, the incredible views, delicious food and local wines! Service was super friendly and professional. Great service and food all around. The staff from each area is kind and willing to help. Incredible views in well connected spot on the mountain. Higher prices but given its location and the quality of the food, this was acceptable!
