Brasserie D’Entreves is one of those places you don’t expect to find. You walk through quiet, almost empty medieval streets, surrounded by stone houses and silence, and then suddenly you step inside and it is full of life. Warm lights, buzzing tables, locals and travelers all mixed together, and that feeling that you have discovered something real.
The atmosphere is incredibly authentic, cozy and unpretentious, exactly what you want in the mountains. It feels like a place people actually come back to, not just somewhere made for tourists.
The food is deeply traditional and absolutely delicious. This is the kind of menu where you want to try everything. The fondue selection is especially impressive, with multiple variations that each bring something different, rich, comforting and perfect after a day outside. Everything feels generous and honest, from the ingredients to the portions.
It is not about fine dining perfection, it is about warmth, flavor and that very special alpine spirit. A place where you sit longer than planned, order one more dish than you should, and leave completely happy.
Definitely one of those spots that stays in your memory.

We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance in the village of Entreves. Excellent service from young, attentive staff. The food is traditional, fresh, and excellent quality. We tried the raclette. The 3-cheese polenta with truffle was off-menu. A dream Valdostana. The atmosphere is very comfortable, even homey. We'll remember this experience! Thank you.

We were truly delighted. The polenta with the trio of stews was simply incredible, one of the best dishes we've tasted in the area. The raclette also looked amazing, and the pasta was truly excellent, with both vegan and gluten-free options, which is not a given. The staff was fantastic: fast, attentive, and impeccable throughout the evening. The wine selection was also good, perfect for pairing the mountain dishes. Everything was top-notch, an experience we'll definitely repeat.

Charming brasserie. However, the prices are high. For example: how can they offer raclette on the menu (and not as a set menu) for €25 per person and then realize you have to add €15 for charcuterie?!
