10/06/2025: Business trip... In addition to staying in their rooms, we ate in their own restaurant-pizzeria. Nice place, recently renovated and welcoming. Good service despite the large influx of people, we had a pizza and some desserts made by them... All very good. Prices in line. In the end quite satisfied

14/06/2025: We stopped for dinner in two and ordered a cold appetizer to share and a second course each. After 50 minutes the cold appetizer arrived, neither praise nor infamy. After another 50 minutes, waiting for the second courses, with regret, we got up and left. The table next to us was in the same situation as us. Another table that came in an hour after us was finishing dinner with dishes from the kitchen. The pizzeria instead seemed to proceed with slightly more pressing times. The waitress was very uncomfortable and the owner at the cash register seemed to know nothing about the problems and taking note of it did not charge us for the appetizer... it seemed like the least he could do! It is always a shame to give a negative review but I hope it can be of help to improve the organizational situation also considering the beautiful place. The prices of the courses were medium high. A ruined evening and a bit of anger.

14/06/2025: For the first time in my life we ​​got up and left without eating...after an hour and a half of waiting with the place at a quarter of its capacity, we still hadn't eaten, they are in complete disorganization, expensive and starving portions...(The ones that arrived to the others because they didn't arrive to us at all)

27/05/2025: All the food on the menu was home-cooked and well-served. The waitress was very friendly and helpful, trying to provide simultaneous translation of the dishes.

08/03/2025: It's a real trattoria, don't expect a menu with a list of dishes. The wine arrives without asking and you don't choose it, it's from the house. Don't be fooled by the name Restaurant Mont Blanc, enter and you will be at the home of the restaurateurs. 2 first courses of your choice, 2 second courses of your choice. Coffee and ice cream. We ate the best sausage, beans and potatoes of our lives. Total 24 euros for two. Honestly, we can only recommend it for those who want to eat well without pretensions, for those who are nostalgic for real, home-made trattorias.

31/01/2025: Ristorante curato in ogni minimo dettaglio, dalla location molto caratteristica, al personale vestito con abiti tradizionali. Il cibo ottimo e con piatti anche particolari. Il personale ci ha fatto sentire davvero coccolati, ci hanno dato la possibilità di cenare, nonostante la nostra prenotazione fosse andata persa e inoltre ci hanno offerto uno spumante mentre aspettavamo il tavolo e dei biscotti fatti in casa alla fine della cena. Ci tornerei sicuramente.

16/01/2025: Thank you to a superb family team. Authentic super dinner (take home box essential). Tremendous value. A perfectly cooked T Bone steak like we’ve not had in forever. Kitchen open all day (bonus and rare these days). Testament to a dedicated hardworking team. We also had an après ski drink there yesterday and loved the ambiance. 17/06/2025: After finishing the tour de mont blanc we arrived to the Gran Baita. The staff were welcoming and friendly, they fed us delicious high class food and made exquisite cocktails. When I'm next in Courmayeur I would definitely swing by for a drink and a swim in the pool. The room was spacious and lovely also.

10/05/2025: We stayed here last weekend, very friendly staff, clean and well-kept rooms. The hotel is located in the center, near the main street of the town. A pleasant discovery was the spa managed by Daniele Pellerino whose extreme professionalism I can confirm, I let myself be guided by him in the choice of massages: he proposed the Ayurvedic one!! I highly recommend

03/06/2025: Very nice restaurant, well furnished, warm atmosphere. The food is really excellent, from the quality of the raw material to the plating. The only flaw is the desserts: good but not up to the standard of the rest (for example the mille foglie with cream no thanks, it needs custard). If you could give half marks, for me it would be a 4.5.

10/03/2025: During my stay at the Grand Hotel Royal E Golf, unfortunately, I encountered several problems that I feel I must share. Although the hotel has a great location, the overall experience was not satisfactory. I found the cleanliness of the rooms and common areas below expectations. The furnishings of the room were dated and the carpet, unfortunately, did not contribute to giving a sense of welcome. Furthermore, the ski room was poorly maintained, dark and with dirty and dusty seats. The staff, unfortunately, were not particularly helpful or professional. In particular, I had an unpleasant experience during breakfast: twice in a row, I was served dishes with obvious traces of residual food, and when I reported the incident, I received no apology or gesture of displeasure. The service was also slow and the availability of the staff was not up to par for a hotel of this category. I am sorry to have to leave this review, as I expected a much higher welcome and level of service. I hope the management takes these aspects into consideration to improve the quality of the experience for future guests.

20/06/2025: Great refuge! Warm and very pleasant welcome from the manager who speaks very good French. We had a private room with a double bed and a bathroom, everything was very clean and comfortable. We had a great night. Dinner and breakfast were good and plentiful. We highly recommend this refuge!
