24/05/2025: I ate at this restaurant twice. The first time I had a typical stew and polenta dish, delicious, my compliments to the chef. The second time I had a pizza with mushrooms and sausage. What can I say, one of the worst pizzas I have ever eaten in my life. Dry, burnt edges, but above all made with mushrooms in oil and not fresh of very low quality, sausage and tomato with little flavor. What a disappointment. Both nights I ate with dogs next to me, it annoyed me. I do not recommend it and I would not go back.

01/05/2025: Unfortunately bad. 10min wait at the entrance and we had to ask to sit down for an aperitif. Once seated after 15 minutes no one showed up. So we had to ask them to bring us two spritzes. Arrived quite quickly. We were expecting at least two chips like the other tables. After another 15 minutes we ask to receive them too. But nothing. After an hour we left. I'm sorry but it was clear that there are series A customers and series B customers.

03/03/2025: Nice little bistro type place offering the local fare incl their own signature "veal on a hot flail" and polenta. Their signature is too impressive to recommend against but also not something we would order a second time. Extensive wine menu as well

25/02/2025: Cena di coppia ottima: personale molto gentile e disponibile, ampia scelta dei vini, costata a cottura lenta davvero deliziosa (tenera e saporita), dolcetto frittelle di mele e crema chantilly da provare!

16/06/2025: We had a large aperitif of cold cuts and cheeses all of quality. Lard and chestnuts in particular were to die for. Next time I will try the cuisine!

29/06/2025: We went here for lunch… honestly I didn’t have a bad time but, for the place and what we ate, it’s really too expensive… even compared to the same things taken in different places in Gressoney. €16 for a salad with three slices of mocetta and a few pieces of cheese is really exaggerated. The trio of tomini is good. The cutting board doesn’t have a great variety of cheeses and cold cuts: it’s good quality but not as excellent as you’d expect from the price. The industrial ice cream isn’t worth €7 (if it’s artisanal we didn’t notice). The Mont Blanc on the other hand has a good quality/price ratio.

10/05/2025: Fabulous welcome in a really nice setting. Everything from the welcome to the food and wine were first class. We had the Alpine menu 4 courses for €40 it was delicious and fantastic value for the quality of food. They have a huge wine selection and you can choose from reasonable prices or treat yourselves. The service was impeccable and made for a great night for my wife’s birthday.

13/04/2025: Nel piccolo centro di La Salle si trova questo posto magico, illumina la via la sera e già quando entri senti una magica atmosfera. I ragazzi sono gentilissimi e molto preparati, abbiamo mangiato la fonduta alla valdostana e non è stato facile decidere tra le loro varie proposte. Dire buona è troppo poco, era squisita accompagnata con la polenta e crostini di pane. Ovviamente il loro piatto di punta è la fonduta ma il menù propone anche tantissimi altri piatti. Mi è rimasto nel cuore. Bravi!

16/06/2025: Fantastic, local restaurant with a nice menu. After 16 hours in the car from Belgium, we started in this place with a delicious antipasti and a nice bottle of wine, which went down a bit too fast. Then an enchanting pizza in my DVM and of course a bottle of white wine tilted. Must visit! I would crawl into a C-segment SUV with 6 adult men to be able to eat a pizza here.

04/04/2025: Beware of tourist trap! Having seen good comments we went there... Unfortunately the management has changed and the food is terrible! 2 almost inedible pizzas, 1 four cheeses or apart from mozzarella there was nothing else! It's stupid, Italy is the country of pizza and a flavorless hamburger. Add to that 2€/person for the service! Even my children didn't want to have dessert because it was so bad. Service without more. Overall very disappointed

21/03/2025: Quelle déception depuis le changement de direction, nous qui venons tous les ans en famille, ça a été la douche froide ! Nouvelle patronne très désagréable, oublié l’accueil à l’italienne avec la charcuterie et le fromage, sans oublier le digestif ! Carte réduite et propreté qui laisse à désirer. Bref ce n’est plus un restaurant familial mais une machine à fric. Ciao ! Nous ne reviendrons pas. En espérant que les moniteurs ESF trouvent un meilleur refuge pour leurs élèves…
