19/07/2025: Excellent location, about 10 minutes from the center of Courmayeur. Very cozy wooden rooms. The indoor pool with a walkway to the outdoor area is very beautiful. Welcoming and helpful staff.

09/07/2025: This hotel stay was part of a Motorrad bike tour and it was excellent throughout. The hotel location is in a beautiful position looking toward the side of stunning Mont Blanc. The interior of the bar was full of skiing paraphernalia which made a very quirky interesting area. The bedroom was very comfortable and spacious and even during very warm weather we were given fans to keep us cool. A special mention must be made about the staff who were so professional and worked hard to keep everyone happy. The barman never stopped and was extremely attentive to our requests. Reception staff were very helpful, also quick to help. Restaurant staff made us feel special and did everything they could to make our meals perfect. I can’t fault the Gran Baita and would highly recommend a stay here.

03/09/2025: The atmosphere was simple and elegant, and we were served by a very kind woman. The food was very good, especially the salsa verde with the trio of tomini. The prices were slightly above average, but we were still satisfied!

22/08/2025: We've been here quite a few times over the past two weeks. The welcome was top-notch, and the service was equally as good. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the food was delicious and high-quality. Highly recommended.

04/09/2025: We ate here twice. One day, the pizzas were special, made with carefully selected local ingredients. The second time, the fondue was truly exceptional. PS: The desserts were also fantastic.

20/08/2025: We went for dinner during our stay in the Aosta Valley... we had a great time: excellent pizza and truly superb traditional dishes. Very nice atmosphere, fast service (despite it being busy), and friendly staff. Definitely recommended!

10/05/2025: Fabulous welcome in a really nice setting. Everything from the welcome to the food and wine were first class. We had the Alpine menu 4 courses for €40 it was delicious and fantastic value for the quality of food. They have a huge wine selection and you can choose from reasonable prices or treat yourselves. The service was impeccable and made for a great night for my wife’s birthday.

15/08/2025: A gelateria (because that's the service I often frequent) that has few equals in the hinterland. Variety of flavors, creativity, and quality ingredients. Gelato always creamy and served at just the right temperature. The staff is dynamic and courteous.

15/08/2025: The pizza is good, but the polenta with sausage is definitely to be avoided; it's of questionable quality. From a mountain restaurant with few dishes besides pizza, I expect better. The polenta tasted instant, and the tomato sauce seemed straight from the jar.

07/08/2025: A good restaurant-pizzeria on the outskirts of Aosta. In addition to an interesting cheese and cured meat platter, we tried the Valdostana-style crespelle and the venison carbonada: both delicious. The interior could be improved, as could the service. Prices are a bit high.

24/05/2025: I ate at this restaurant twice. The first time I had a typical stew and polenta dish, delicious, my compliments to the chef. The second time I had a pizza with mushrooms and sausage. What can I say, one of the worst pizzas I have ever eaten in my life. Dry, burnt edges, but above all made with mushrooms in oil and not fresh of very low quality, sausage and tomato with little flavor. What a disappointment. Both nights I ate with dogs next to me, it annoyed me. I do not recommend it and I would not go back.
