10/12/2025: Went yesterday for the first time with my sister and my 8-year-old son. I have to say it was a great experience because you can taste typical local dishes. We had a delicious Valdostan appetizer ☺️ my son had pizza which was also really good with a well-leavened dough as it was very soft. But the highlight in my opinion was the polenta with sausage which I highly recommend. The Valdostan polenta was very good and tasty. I will definitely be back! 👌 The waitress from Barletta was super nice and kind in all our requests, fair prices.

08/12/2025: I went on Sunday, December 7, with my husband. We ordered two pizzas. They were never so big, thin, and delicious. The staff was friendly. We were offered a digestif at checkout. Highly recommended.

13/12/2025: The tartare with citronette, mustard, and pink peppercorns was delicious, as were the maltagliati with goat's blue cheese, pears, and walnuts. The carbonada was a bit salty, but definitely tasty. The atmosphere was truly quaint; we had lunch in a room near the fireplace. Recommended

08/11/2025: Amazing aperitivo!!! If you're looking for an aperitivo, it's worth leaving the center of Aosta and walking a few hundred meters to Barin. It's very conveniently located near the Saint Martin de Corléans parking lot. Here you'll find an almost endless variety of aperitivos, wines by the glass, and generous and delicious appetizers included in the price (forget the usual chips or peanuts). The tables and chairs are a bit basic, but the friendly staff and quality of service make up for the rustic decor. Definitely not to be missed.

05/10/2025: A super welcoming and cute atmosphere, with lots of handmade details that make it very special! The staff is kind and smiling, and the pizzas are very good... excellent value for money! Highly recommended 🥰

08/12/2025: Excellent bar. Not a lot of seating, but excellent service. Aperitif with plenty of delicious appetizers. Good selection of both white and red wines. Very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable staff. Right in the city center.

11/10/2025: The hotel restaurant is excellent, from the spacious rooms to the generous sweet and savory breakfast, from the excellent Aosta Valley cuisine to the professionalism and kindness of the staff.

04/12/2025: We've stayed at this hotel twice now and have always had a great time. The owners and staff are very helpful and welcoming.

20/09/2025: The corner room assigned to us is furnished in Alpine style, well-designed, and features a large bathroom with a huge, modern shower and three different water flow settings. A French window leads to the spacious terrace and four windows (one each). Extremely bright! A feature I really appreciate. The room overlooks Champoluc's main street on one side, with shops nearby, and the hotel's well-maintained garden on the other. The hotel is very close to the pedestrian path that runs alongside the Evançon stream, offering pleasant walks that lead to the sports facilities. Hotel Castor has many small nooks furnished with velvet sofas and armchairs, a piano for guests' entertainment, and a reading corner. The dining and breakfast room is very spacious and well-appointed. The breakfast is varied, with a wide selection of sweets (cookies, homemade cakes—very popular—), brioche, and savory options. Fruit juices, yogurt, jams, and fresh fruit are also available. The hosts are courteous and discreet, yet always available for any information or request.

22/11/2025: My husband and I had dinner today for the first time at this lovely restaurant. A wonderful experience, highly recommended. The food was truly excellent, but the most memorable honorable mention was the courtesy, professionalism, and warmth of the staff. Well done, congratulations.

15/11/2025: Great evening and very good food. The only negative thing was that at the end of the meal they gave me 10 minutes to pay at the cash register. Once I'd set up the POS terminal, I was left there and had to enter my PIN and get the receipt myself... someone with bad intentions could have taken advantage and not paid. Not even a thank you or goodbye. The room was very crowded, and it was clear that the staff was having a hard time due to the large crowd; however, this attitude remains unacceptable.

19/08/2025: If you're looking for a no-frills trattoria where you can eat well, you've come to the right place! Very friendly staff, fast service, and generous portions!!! Very fair prices!

09/08/2025: I'm sorry because it looked much better, but in the end they brought us a second mixed grill for four. Only the sausages were good, very good in fact, but the overcooked and inedible pork chop and the cold lamb were the final blow to our meal. I understand that we arrived at 2 PM and the grill was almost out. We were standing next to the grill and watched the dishes come out of the kitchen after a long time, but nothing was removed from the grill. Does that mean the meat was kept under a chafing dish? I can't be sure, but it wasn't acceptable.

02/09/2025: 3 days of relaxation, friendly and professional staff, good food, excellent breakfast, the only flaw was the room in need of renovation and poor soundproofing. Central location and a good starting point for excursions.

02/09/2025: Here on vacation for two days, hotel in the town center, steps from the ski lift. Also close to the supermarket. Breakfast was plentiful and varied, with everything you could possibly need. The staff was competent and attentive, and the hotel management was also commendable.

28/09/2025: Tasty home cooking. Generous portions. Variety of dishes with seasonal ingredients. AWFUL service! Poor reception, slow order taking, sketchy and disorganized table management, orders are forgotten. RUDE OWNER!!!
