20/04/2025: Google showed this place opened until 6pm. Got there at 3pm and they said kitchen was closing at 3:30. We felt unwelcome and we were told they have VERY minimal selections during that time, even butter noodles will take them a lot of effort according to the hostess. Went to a restaurant called Le Moulin Valtournenche whose kitchen was also closing soon at the time but they accommodated us and made us THE BEST pasta and pizza we have ever had!! The whole pie cost €9 which was incredible value!

03/06/2025: We had dinner at the Mansio 1695 restaurant. We tasted typical Aosta Valley cuisine of the highest level. It was a very pleasant evening, both thanks to the atmosphere and the service offered. Really honest prices. Highly recommended.

07/06/2025: When entering this classical Italian eatery to enjoy a Valdostano menu you feel like being transferred some fifty years back in time, not only by the interior decoration but also by the soft jazz being played over the loud speakers and the strict black and white outfit of your fun English speaking waitress. It was only the white apron that was missing. I had the best polenta ever and wines by the glass were excellent. Bert good value for money!

10/06/2025: In a high place and beautiful spot of the gorgeous mountains we found the restaurant and were surprised to have the one of our best meals in Sicily. The hosts were very very friendly and we enjoyed two magical hours there. Good selection of dishes and we even took the left overs with us. Arnon, Revital, Youval and Ayala.

The service was simply excellent, the staff was friendly, efficient and attentive to our needs. The food was even better! The quality of the dishes was very high and the variety of options satisfied all our tastes. The owner was really friendly and helpful, he made sure everything was perfect and did everything to make us feel at home. Our experience was truly unique and unforgettable. Ristoro dello Scoiattolo is a place that I recommend to everyone, especially if you are a large group like ours. 17/06/2025: Fantastic experience!! I suffer from vertigo, cable cars in particular scare me a lot, I have to say it was not a walk in the park, when you get to Punta Helbronner it is really high 😅 But getting there is an experience that I recommend to everyone because it is worth it, while you go up the cable car turns slowly so you can see 360 ​​degrees, but at the same time it does not bother you, it does not make you dizzy. Then it is really fast in 5 minutes you are at Pavillion where there is a beautiful lawn with deck chairs, and a small lake and then you take the cable car again for another five minutes and you arrive at the top. The view from up there is surreal, it is so fantastic 🤩 Truly everything is well organized, perfect. Highly recommended

12/06/2025: We absolutely loved this place and the welcome. The room was ultra-comfortable, with a whirlpool tub, ultra-quiet, and a beautiful bar. The bedding was perfect. A surprise meal with a divine wine pairing. The produce was local, grown, and treated with respect. Each dish was explained its origin and history. The two sisters who served us made us feel at home, sharing stories about their family. We were able to visit and chat with the chef, who is passionate about his work. At breakfast, we left with a selection of pastries and each a box of cookies. Thank you so much for sharing, which brought tears to my eyes.

11/05/2025: Un ristorante stellato dove torniamo sempre volentieri: ogni volta ci sorprende, incanta e soddisfa fino all’ultimo piatto. Contrariamente a quanto si pensa, non si esce affamati, ma appagati nel corpo e nella mente. Un’esperienza gastronomica completa, da provare e riprovare!

21/04/2025: We were impressed by the Vecchio Ristoro in Aosta. The 5-course menu was sensational, every single course was a culinary masterpiece. Excellent quality ingredients provided one culinary delight after another through excellent craftsmanship and creativity. The risotto was one of the best, if not the best, we have ever tried. The fantastic kitchen performance was perfectly complemented by the professional, attentive and courteous service. The elegant ambience of the former mill was very appealing, but the only criticism of our lunch was the room temperature. It was far too cold and we were freezing after a short time. Apart from that, the restaurant is a crystal clear recommendation. For us it is one of the very best 1 star restaurants we have visited in Italy so far and worth every penny.

29/05/2025: We have been coming here several times a year for a few years now and we have finally found a restaurant that is up to par, without taking anything away from the others, but this is a beautiful, very characteristic place, well looked after and well managed by the two very kind and very well-prepared ladies in the dining room, furthermore, left for last but not least, finally a menu that is up to the culinary tradition of these areas. Even the gluten free management receives the right attention. Well done, see you soon.
