I spent Easter Monday with friends at Ristoro dello Scoiattolo. The menu was excellent, the food and service were excellent!

Today, Easter Monday, we booked lunch at Lo Scoiattolo. At the lady's suggestion, we chose to have lunch outside on the terrace. A spectacle... fantastic location... sun... snow... nature... enviable lunch... authentic food prepared with professionalism... Excellent service, fantastic girls and boys. A dream Easter Monday. Thanks to all the staff at Lo Scoiattolo in Piano Battaglia.

Carmelino and Carmelina are fantastic, the staff is always very attentive, the location is incredible and offers a breathtaking view, but the real star is the food, exquisite. Our favorite place ♥️

Choosing the Scogliattolo restaurant has become a habit for me because I've always been welcomed like a friend. The staff is attentive to the needs and wants of each guest, and I'd be lying if I said it hadn't already felt like home to me for many years, thanks to the kindness and courtesy of Carmelina and Carmelo. If you're passing through, I recommend finding refreshments there; if you're not in the Piano Battaglia mountains, I equally recommend going there on purpose, for a simple but happy day. Above all, happy!! 🐞

10/04/2026: We returned to this restaurant for a quick lunch before leaving because we had had a very good dinner a few days earlier... This time I had the favò which is basically a short pasta with fresh broad beans and Fontina cheese, very good but a little heavy... my friend had a fillet with green pepper and very tender meat... finally we shared a tart with chocolate, chestnut jam and marron glacé
08/04/2026: I came for dinner. The food was excellent. The best panna cotta I've ever had. I ordered the tripe with beans, and it was delicious. The experience was also very welcoming because the staff was very attentive. They also had the menu in several languages, with detailed descriptions of the ingredients, which made choosing easier.

09/05/2026: A delightful discovery: we were looking for a nice place to eat and drink well, and this was definitely an excellent choice. The food is excellent, the quality of the ingredients is evident, and the kitchen deserves a special mention. The wine list is extensive. The service is much appreciated; they immediately make you feel at ease, offering advice and pampering, attentive service. Dogs are welcome. Highly recommended!
