30/11/2025: A wonderful evening with friends over pinsa, the best in Terni because they specialize exclusively in it. Lots of different flavors with unusual pairings. Delicious homemade supplì and mouth-watering desserts. Friendly and helpful service, understandably higher prices than regular pizzerias.

17/09/2025: Much nicer off season (September) when the waiting staff have more time for interaction. Food and wine selection was excellent.

16/09/2025: We ate here 20 years ago on our first visit to this wonderful town so when returning we searched it out again. It's under new owners since our first visit but the place is still great. You need to sit outside on the vine covered patio, order some house wine and enjoy the delicious meal. Would highly recommend!

02/11/2025: The manager welcomed us warmly and captivated us with his descriptions of his dishes. It's a shame that what we received was very, very disappointing. The cooking technique lacked the right level of detail for the menu prices. The bread was from the day before, the potatoes were very dry, the soup was very salty and unbalanced, and tasted only of rosemary. I understand it's the only place for miles around, but the prices for where it is located and what it offers are WAY too high.

02/11/2025: Semiramide has become a go-to place for us. The pizza (strictly made with sourdough) is excellent. The grilled meat is authentic, and the pasta dishes are fresh and handmade to order. The dessert is a treat that doesn't weigh you down but is a perfect end to the meal. The place is intimate, cozy, and attentive, as is the service.

22/11/2025: Grocery store in the center of Orvieto. Generous and delicious sandwiches! You can sit inside, although there are limited seats. Friendly staff and fairly quick service. Definitely recommended for a quick lunch or a savory snack.

04/11/2025: We had lunch here on our last day in Orvieto. We had focaccia with prosciutto, stuffed rabbit with a side dish, and pavlova. The food was very good, the place was very nice, and the service was attentive. Everything was great.

17/10/2025: We booked with The Fork. Excellent welcome. An unsolicited entree kicked off the meal. We asked for a carbonara with a pasta substitution, and they accommodated us without further ado. However, I found the carbonara a bit disjointed, although good. But my 10/10 goes to the Argentine Angus steak with soy sauce reduction. A stroke of genius.

04/12/2025: First time here in Orvieto and first time at this trattoria, I can't recommend it highly enough for the friendly and discreet service, the quiet atmosphere, and the quality food. The fillet steak in red wine was spectacular! Highly recommended.

22/10/2025: Let's forget it... Since you enter and find the sign at the cash register saying "POS not working" (coincidentally), I should have left. Then, a good morning is always appreciated, and they even seem free. Sandwiches: all there in plain sight, wrapped in plastic. At first bite, they seem rubbery, then you realize they really are rubber! They "attempt" to heat them up without asking if we preferred them hot or cold... Maybe it was a commendable attempt to revive them. Coffee.... The value for money is more consistent at the vending machines. Oh... table service is not included. And oh well, that's a policy at all Autogrill restaurants... oh no, it wasn't. Now that I know, I won't go back, should I ever have another chance. I'm sorry.

17/10/2025: Beautiful ambiance, very friendly staff, and excellent food. We had pork skewers and lamb chops, respectively, and were impressed by both the preparation and the quality of the meat.

30/11/2025: This was the only place in Italy we ate at twice. Such a quiet, lovely spot. We did dinner and then lunch. The caccio e pepe senza glutine was my favorite meal of the trip. Caprese was so fresh. Wine recommendations were incredible. Loved it here.

30/11/2025: We ate lunch at this restaurant on a cold, rainy day on a recommendation from a friend. I am vegan and was very happy to see how accommodating they are in offering vegan options. I had a fantastic farro and veggie soup. For dessert I had the vegan, cashew based Panna Cotta. Everything was incredibly fresh and delicious. I decided to eat lunch there again the following day. I had a mushroom and truffle pasta (which they made vegan with an egg free pasta) and again had that fantastic Panna Cotta. Everything was incredible! They don't advertise the vegan Panna Cotta, but whether you are vegan or just dairy free, the Panna Cotta is a MUST! If you are in Orvietto you must try this little, out of the way restaurant. E' eccellente!

03/12/2025: Excellent hospitality, prompt service at the tables and bar, and delicious, bold food. We've been back as a group several times, very happily. I recommend making a reservation to secure a table. Fair prices, generous portions ;-).
