If you don't have the ingredients to make a dish, I don't know how to suggest it.

05/08/2026: The overall experience didn't live up to the expectations the website had created. The photos show a completely different terrace than the one we ate on: from what I understand, it's a different terrace, only open during certain periods of the year, but this information isn't specified. The one we dined on was still nice, but decidedly smaller.
The service was also rather slow and inattentive.
The starters were really good and were the highlight of the dinner, so much so that they raised my rating.
Considering all this, however, the prices are high.
04/08/2026: Great experience! The terrace offers a splendid view of Narni. The food is excellent: we ate mostly traditional dishes, prepared with ingredients whose quality is evident. The service was also courteous and helpful.

22/03/2026: The atmosphere is welcoming and spacious, like a true osteria.
The waiters are super kind and helpful. The service is fast and knowledgeable. We had pasta with artichokes and gnocchi, followed by meatballs in tomato sauce. Everything was delicious, and the portions were generous. Perhaps a little too peppery, but the dishes were truly quality. The quality/price ratio was average.
We really enjoyed our meal, and we'll be back.

The place is small and a bit unwelcoming, but it's packed with substance.
06/07/2026: I happened upon the renowned shop and thought, "Why not... let's try it." This speaks volumes about the power and influence of social media, which the owner clearly uses to great effect. If I hadn't seen his videos on Facebook or Instagram, I probably wouldn't have come in and would have gone to the usual pizzeria. The place is small but welcoming, the ingredients are high-quality. I expected larger portions, but that's fine (even better). Prices are also below average, and a lot of research has gone into it. These young local entrepreneurs, as well as promoters of the local area (and Terni), deserve help and support.

06/06/2026: We have been dining at Rossi’s for years. Our love-hate relationship is borne from the unpredictable service you receive from the two-owner brothers who have been running the establishment for years. Surly and rather disengaging. Not characteristics commensurate with front of house behavior. In spite of themselves, the Tratoria has prospered and grown over the years and I attribute this to the quality of the food. Typical Umbrian, simple and therefore always delicious. Testament to this is that most diners are local and regulars! How much more of a regular we would be if the two brothers attended a Dale Carnegie course on how to Win Friends and Influence people! Hell, I would even pay for it!

Fantastic location overlooking the lake with plenty of shaded outdoor seating.

06/08/2026: Perfect balance of every element. First, the food: homey, traditional, yet exceptional in its magnificent celebration of everyday life. The truffle umbrichelli exceeded all expectations, both tasty and delicate. Delicious bruschetta. Desserts (crème bruschetta and lemon sorbet) were generous and well-balanced. I left feeling full, happy, but not weighed down.
Service: friendly, competent, and hospitable. But discreet. And by that, I mean they made us feel at home, but without being intrusive. Ambience: suitable and atmospheric. The outdoor seating, in this scorching summer, was pleasantly breezy.
If I ever return to Orvieto, my first date will be here!
31/07/2026: We had a great dinner... excellent value for money. The only flaw, which can't be blamed on them, was the heat inside the restaurant. That evening, there was a hood and it was hotter than ever. We chose to dine inside with the air conditioning. The problem was that it didn't provide much cooling due to the open door. As for the food, it was all good, no complaints.
