09/05/2025: Being in an ancient village you have to get there on foot. Remarkable location and courteous staff. Excellent dishes and excellent wines. I had already been there in the past and I went back on purpose this time and it did not disappoint my expectations. Highly recommended.

05/05/2025: An excellent dinner at the entrance to the beautiful historic center of San Gemini. Local products are highlighted from the appetizer, a platter of cured meats and cheeses, to the dessert. The Sangemini Picchiarelli with white meat ragout and parmesan with the addition of black truffle are unforgettable. The service is quick and courteous. The bill is adequate.

02/06/2025: We came to eat on June 2nd after visiting the Marmore Falls. Convenient location, super friendly staff, excellent food. Average price. Fast and efficient service. We will definitely be back

25/05/2025: We went to eat at this restaurant because my partner had already been there a long time ago and had a great time. What can I say... A place full of love. Welcoming and familiar atmosphere, kind staff starting from Letizia, Matteo and Maria, always attentive to every little detail... truly excellent cuisine and I compliment Francesco, Luciana and Denise. We tasted everything from the appetizer to the first course, second course and side dish.. and since we had the birthday boy at the table with us (my partner) the very kind Mrs. Antonella, with the help of her magnificent team created a dessert on the spot with a candle. Truly a beautiful experience!!!. This place deserves to be visited not only for its excellent cuisine, but above all for the love that is behind every single thing, and above all I recommend getting to know the wonderful staff that is part of it. 21/03/2025: Dinner was a wonderful experience. Intimate venue, attentive and efficient service, excellent dishes and wines. We ordered the tartare and the sirloin, excellent meat and very successful preparation. We are left looking forward to the next visit... Well done Hourglass and well done Emiliano.

The service is truly impeccable and the staff is very kind and helpful. You also spend little for the quality offered, if you are in Amelia it is absolutely worth trying.

The Easter menu booked on the menu has undergone some significant changes, with respect to the wine, the side dishes and the vegetarian menu. We ate the two first courses on the same plate as well as the two second courses. Lamb not tasty but salty... too bad. The service was really nice, done by very young and proactive guys

02/05/2025: Excellent place, we really appreciated the cloth tablecloths, now almost a rarity, the dishes were good, even if ours was just a quick stop and we couldn't evaluate it in more depth. The only flaw is the bread; they served us sandwiches suitable for breakfast, not for lunch. It's not possible to be perfect, however good, a good to see you again

03/06/2025: Présent dans de nombreux guides dont michelin, c est incontestablement un excellent restaurant. C est bon, bien prepare avec des plats typiques en particulier ceux à la truffe et tout cela pour une tarification très raisonnable. Vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés, c est de loin ce que j ai trouve de mieux ici.

25/05/2025: Durante su estancia en un agroturismo a las afueras de Orvieto, nuestro anfitrión recomendó este restaurante por su auténtica cocina umbría y excepcional selección de vinos. También apareció en mi guía de Lonely Planet. Aunque no hicimos una reserva, nos aseguramos de llegar a las 12 : 30 para el almuerzo. Afortunadamente, todavía había algunas mesas disponibles, y disfrutamos de una comida fantástica con un servicio rápido y atento. La carbonara con tartufo y paloma fueron excepcionales, complementados perfectamente con el vino, incluyendo un excelente Orvieto Classico. Me dijeron que este es el restaurante más antiguo de Orvieto, con paloma que ya aparece en el menú en la época etrusca. Es un privilegio ser parte de una historia tan rica, ¡que continúe por generaciones!

02/06/2025: Sono andato a mezzogiorno di oggi 2 giugno in questo posto perchè avevo visto molti giudizi positivi. In realtà ha valutazioni esagerate. Ho preso un primo (amatriciana) molto buono, un secondo (salsiccia) discreto, un tiramisù che non sapeva di niente. La cosa che mi ha colpito in negativo è il vino della casa. Per 1/4 di vino della casa (il cui prezzo non era presente nel menù) ho pagato 6 euro!!! E il vino era pessimo.......era chiaramente un vino scadentissimo da supermercato.

20/05/2025: I had the pleasure of organizing the First Communion of my son and two of his companions in this extraordinary farmhouse and I can say without hesitation that it was an unforgettable experience. The location is simply enchanting: immersed in nature, with a breathtaking view that makes every corner of the farmhouse a corner of paradise. The tranquility and beauty of the landscape create the perfect atmosphere for special events like this. The food was a true triumph of genuine and fresh flavors, with dishes prepared with high-quality ingredients sourced directly from the area. Each course was an explosion of taste, prepared with skill and passion. A true journey into the flavors of tradition, which conquered all the guests' palates. The professionalism of the staff was impeccable: attention to detail, courtesy and availability were constantly guaranteed. They were able to satisfy every request with extreme kindness, making every moment of the day even more special. Even the setup was taken care of down to the smallest details, with elegance and refinement, without ever being excessive. The favors, made with their products, were an original and much appreciated thought, which made the event even more authentic. In short, this agriturismo is a perfect place for those looking for an authentic experience, where the beauty of the place, the quality of the food and the impeccable hospitality come together to create an unforgettable memory. 10/05/2025: Had a lovely meal here to celebrate mother's day. Delicious salad and pasta (we had the pasta with smoked pork cheek and mint and the pasta with wild boar ragout - both were excellent!). Having dined on more touristy fare in Rome, this menu was far more interesting than anything we had there. Excellent! Great wine recommendations as well.

05/04/2025: Un piccolo gioiello nascosto nel cuore di Amelia: varcando un portone sulla via principale, ci si ritrova in un locale dallo stile rustico chic, impreziosito da una terrazza incantevole. All’ingresso, un bancone ricco di prodotti tipici locali e, soprattutto, il sorriso e la gentilezza delle donne che gestiscono il posto, pronte ad accogliere ogni ospite con calore. L’ambiente è curato ma semplice, e proprio questa semplicità contribuisce a creare un’atmosfera autentica e rilassante. Da non perdere i taglieri: abbondanti, gustosi e perfetti sia per un aperitivo che per un pranzo all’insegna della qualità.
