I can only say that we ate like few times in our travels...spectacular food and hospitality too.

Family Dinner The location is enchanting, with a beautiful panoramic view that makes the evening even more special. The service is excellent: the staff is kind, attentive, and attentive to every need. Let's get to the food... everything was excellent! The tartare appetizer with caramelized onions was exceptional, a perfect balance. The fried fish was incredibly fresh and truly plentiful. The scampi gnocchi were delicate and flavorful, melting in the mouth. And the fish stew... excellent, with a sauce so flavorful we mopped it up! Highly recommended for a family dinner. We'll definitely be back!

We had lunch at Ristorante Il Convento, and the experience was decidedly positive in every way. We started with the appetizers: the crostone with cherries, burrata, and basil was excellent, a fresh and well-balanced combination thanks to the aromatic note of the basil. The local prosciutto was also very good, served with a warm, light fried pizza topped with burrata. Afterwards, we tried both fish and meat. The meagre was fresh and perfectly cooked, accompanied by flavorful sautéed chicory. The highlight, however, was the meat: a Prussian steak selected from the beautiful dry-aged steak displayed in the dining room and cooked perfectly rare over the large wood-burning fireplace. It was a very tender cut, flavorful, and beautifully aged, which we paired with a local Umbrian red wine from a winery in Orvieto. We concluded the lunch with a well-made homemade zuppa inglese and a classic strawberry gelato. Both desserts were very good. Attentive and friendly service, a pleasant atmosphere, and excellent value for the quality of the ingredients. Highly recommended!

The food was fantastic, especially the fish (I've rarely had such good fish in Umbria). What struck us most was the friendliness of the staff, who exude passion and customer service in every detail. The head waiter was always available, kind, and professional. We were truly satisfied and pleasantly surprised!

We had lunch on June 2nd. The place was beautiful, and the restaurant was also lovely, with a stunning panoramic view. The food was excellent, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We'll definitely be back.

It's a great place to stay and the food is good, quality. I also recommend it for the hospitality from everyone, especially the legendary CARLO!!!
