Ristorante La Primula In Terni

We made a small detour on the way back from the cacate, and it was absolutely worth it. The portions were more than generous, the food delicious, and Carlo provided an exceptional welcome. If I ever return to the Terni area, La Primula will be a must-visit.

A very informal yet welcoming place. Carlo, the owner, and his wife are truly friendly and helpful. The food is excellent, all home-made. The cold cuts and cheese platter is excellent. The homemade bread is good. Prima is good quality.

We went to Carlo's for lunch. The place is very simple but well-kept, and Carlo was friendly and welcoming. He told us that all the cheeses are his own, and that every dish is prepared by his wife, who runs the kitchen. In addition to what we ordered, he offered us additional cheeses to taste and some desserts. The prices aren't cheap, but considering the portions, they're more than justified! The portions were perhaps too generous, so much so that we couldn't finish everything we ordered (an appetizer to share and a main course each). The only downside is that Carlo is alone in the dining room, and we sat for almost two hours. Not recommended for a quick lunch, but definitely recommended if you want to enjoy good food and a friendly and attentive host!

Highly recommended restaurant! The owner, Carlo, was incredibly kind throughout the dinner, and his passion for his work and his products was evident. The food was delicious, with generous portions and top-quality ingredients, from the appetizers to the first and second courses. I've never eaten so well; it's a place that makes you feel completely at ease.

I loved this place. The owner is amazing. Competent, knowledgeable, and hospitable. It was particularly hot that day, and every table was given a complimentary bottle of cold water upon leaving the restaurant. It's the little details that make a place great. The dishes aren't extensive, but they're refined and delicious. Generous portions and superbly seasoned. Highly recommended. I'll be back as soon as I can and I think it will become a regular stop.

We had lunch at this restaurant and everything was delicious. I recommend the cold cuts and cheese platter, which is exceptional. All the products are carefully selected and organic, many of which are produced by the owner, a super welcoming person who loves his job. Go there and you won't regret it. (I recommend the red wine; one glass leads to another, unfortunately.)
