Sapore Greco In Perugia

The owner is very kind and friendly. When I was a student, I ate their plate meals for a long time—they’re both healthy and delicious. It’s a place everyone should go and try.

One of the best gyros I have eaten in my life and I'm from Greece. The quality of the food is amazing and the owner is a really sweet and happy guy. I definitely recommend this place!

I've been going to Sapore Greco since college, and even today, it's a regular stop every time I return to Perugia. It's one of the few places that serves true, authentic Greek cuisine, made just like in Greece: authentic flavors, quality ingredients, and almost all dishes prepared fresh. The place is small but very welcoming, with a simple atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. I love it!

During a trip to Italy, we had a short stay in Perugia. Since we were a bit tired of Italian food, we looked for alternatives and ended up at this Greek restaurant near the university. We got a table and ordered typical Greek specialties. It was delicious! The owner was super friendly and spoke fluent English. The prices were absolutely reasonable and student-friendly. If you're looking for a change from Italian food and want to experience student life again, this is the place for you.

Excellent Greek food. We had the gyros and the large pita, and both dishes were spectacular. The atmosphere is Greek and family-friendly. The service was fantastic!

Too good, super generous portions and high quality

Excellent Greek restaurant, located in the center of Perugia. The woman was very kind and attentive to our requests. We didn't have a long wait even though it was Saturday, and the place was very nice. If I had to find a flaw, it was the fried foods; they weren't the best. The pita was good.
