This osteria is an absolute temple of pure, traditional Umbrian cuisine, the kind of cuisine that has been passed down through generations—TRUE cuisine. It's a wonderful place, staffed by exceptional and special people. Incredible elements and flavor combinations are the best you could wish for. All these elements are brought to life by the heart and soul of the incredible and talented Chef and owner. He possesses an absolute, top-notch technique that allows him to craft ingredients like very few others, resulting in dishes that are beyond unique and incredibly flavorful. For the owner-chef, perfection is a fundamental concept, and he strives to surpass it, ALWAYS. The expertly crafted ingredients, beyond perfection, blend seamlessly with the highest-quality raw materials, used with incredible skill. The dishes intoxicate the palate and the senses...everything is a caress for the soul. The ingredients were cooked sublimely. A tip: Umbricoli with Reggiano and black truffle. I have NEVER eaten better Umbricoli in my life! Here, the cuisine and drink, rigorously traditional, are a true art, a journey through sight, smell, and taste, but above all through the feelings and emotions that the Chef, preparing dishes unlike any other, evokes in those who enjoy them. This wonderful place is pure, more than unique, talent. Emotions of the soul were enhanced by the smiles and infinite kindness of the wonderful Giulia, who manages the dining room service with extreme skill. La Locanda del Tartufo is a continuous flow of flavors and emotions that begin with the consistency of the ingredients used and then culminate in the perfection of the evolution from the first bite. Two elements predominate: the preparation technique and the highest-quality raw materials. This quality standard allows the customer to fully enjoy the flavors. The ingredients are crucial in enhancing the flavors, which, in the mouth, appear clean and full-bodied, yet delicate and persistent. 30/09/2025: A truly wonderful discovery! The location is beautiful, offering many options, from a lake-view table to deckchairs with a view. The menu is very interesting and offers many vegan options. Everything was delicious, and attention was paid to every detail of the presentation. I'll definitely be back!

05/04/2026: The restaurant is located roughly in the center of town; find a parking spot and then walk. The atmosphere is small but pleasant; there are only a few seats, so reservations are necessary. The service is excellent; very kind, friendly, and helpful. The food is very good, with generous portions. I enjoyed it and would gladly return.

20/03/2026: We shared an absolutely wonderful meal with our friends at Osteria la Pergola. The chicken goulash was absolutely amazing, as were the pastas, wine and panne cotta for dessert. The owner, Carmen, and her partner pay attention to every detail. The ambience is exquisite!

12/01/2026: Wonderful, fresh pizza, either traditional "al taglio" or round restaurant-style made to order. Don't feel like having pizza? They also have homemade pasta dishes and salads, along with chicken wings and on special days, the best porchetta in the region. They have a great outdoor eating area for people-watching and an intimate indoor space if the weather is inclement. Highly recommended.

20/04/2026: We stumbled upon this hotel by chance after a road accident, and were greeted warmly. Clean rooms and comfortable beds, a delicious breakfast, and friendly and helpful staff. A place I'd definitely like to return to.

13/04/2026: If this excellent pizzeria was in my town I would visit regularly. The dough is fresh as are the toppings. The Nerano pizza was more than enough for two and the house white was delicious.

12/04/2026: There were eight of us, and we went without a reservation on a Saturday night. Even so, they told us that if we waited, they could get us a table. The wait was long, but they brought out a chair for one of the elderly people in our group to rest. The pizzas were delicious, and the service was quick and friendly. In conclusion, a very good place to eat pizza right in the heart of Perugia's old town.

14/04/2026: Had a great evening at Bistrot Del Duca. The food was delicous, the owner was very kind and the restaurant is very intimate/snug. Our dog was also welcome! I would really recommend this restaurant, one of the best places I have ever been to.

06/12/2025: Excellent dinner! Highly recommended! Warm, well-kept atmosphere and impeccable management! We ordered crostini with livers, carbonara, meatballs and for dessert a gorgonzola and orange semifreddo! Everything was delicious!
