Our dinner tonight was by far the best meal we've had in the Magione area. Everything was perfect! The atmosphere was lovely, the service was incredibly friendly, and the food was absolutely delicious. Everything was freshly prepared and beautifully presented. The taste was simply amazing. The wine selection was excellent, with something to suit every palate. Unfortunately, we don't have 52 weeks of vacation, otherwise we'd be here very often, but we've already made another reservation. Thank you for a wonderful evening!

Excellent experience. We ate a menu featuring lake fish, and for my daughter they made a special gnocchi with white ragù. The wines offered are also excellent, and the desserts were superb. The view of the lake at sunset and the friendliness and kindness of the waitresses made everything special.

Not much choice but some are better than others. Friendly and helpful staff. Average waiting times. Very beautiful location at sunset, worth trying.

Compared to last year, something seems to have changed, both in terms of the menu and the quality/price ratio. The "Fish & Chips" appetizer had a lot of chips (which, incidentally, looked frozen, not homemade), and very few pieces of fish (which I later pointed out when asked if the dinner had gone well and everyone had enjoyed it). The mixed lake antipasto was good, the best dish of my dinner, in my opinion. I found the Tegamaccio to be a tasty dish; it seemed to contain only one type of fish, because I found the same texture and taste for all the pieces immersed in the tomato sauce. Good, but not overpowering. The grilled trout fillet was bland, it seemed frozen. I also asked about this, raising my doubts, and was told no, that it was fresh. Yet the taste was inconsistent, and the dish was disappointing. I enjoyed the gnocchi with lake ragù, and other meat dishes. A fried artichoke appetizer costs €12... Overall, we didn't find the same wow effect and satisfaction as last summer. We'll probably go back; maybe it was just one of those nights. The location and view, however, are a definite plus.

You might have a less than favorable first impression upon entering, given the exterior of the building that houses the Trattoria, but I guarantee you that once you step inside, you'll be amazed by the magic of a place filled with every conceivable type of historical object... absolutely beautiful!!! Delicious food, a view of the lake, and attentive and friendly service... in short, it rarely occurs to us, upon leaving, to think that it would be nice to return as soon as possible with the rest of the family or friends... Furthermore, we can also say that, given the quality and the allegorical setting in which we found ourselves during lunch, the prices are fair and the portions generous... in short, we'll gladly return.
